Not like I have to tell anyone who has shopped on Temu, but cramming multiple items into a bag is always trouble. Temu needs to use boxes and protective stuffing. Things used to be normal, you know. Humanity lived in large civilizations all throughout the planet, busily going about their days like working ants without a care in the world. However, those civilizations came crashing down 60 years ago, or rather 62 to be precise. Humanity was forced into a new life with the emergence of ‘corruption’ spreading all throughout nature, allowing beasts of all kinds to reveal themselves to human eyes. They wreaked havoc on all civilizations, destroying everything humans have ever built and deemed safe. Worst of all, what we used to call monsters now live among us, and even go as far as governing us. They used to hide in the dark, letting humanity be oblivious of their existence outside of movies or books. Supernaturals would emerge from the depths in response to the sudden exposure of the destructive beasts, uniting together with humanity on common grounds to prevent the corruption from taking more lives.
That’s where we are now. Humanity and Supernaturals built back a civilization far west on Earth, on a fairly small continent strip called Japan. It's actually quite similar to the Japan you know of, but this one isn't the same culturally or.. worldly. Japan is one of the last places of civilization here, at least with a large population. The City of Tokyo is where everyone resides, as it promises safety from the beasts outside the ruin walls. We are currently governed by three groups/factions of Supernaturals, all doing their part to prevent anymore casualties large scale. There's the police force, the espionage, and the grunt workers. These groups/factions created The Council, a group of 3 high officials that decide laws and next steps facing the corruption. The Council actively does their part to keep peace, however some humans aren't quite content being governed by Supernaturals.
Ultimately, the world is in shambles and corruption is everywhere. Individuals are trying to find their new meaning in life, but most of all trying to survive. So what will you do traveler? Will you protect the people, fight the beasts, gather funding or set out to explore? The options are unlimited, but please... be very careful!

So I bought a duelshock 4 controller for android and I'm trying to play cod mobile but when I do with the controller it just does what ever it wants like aims down sights non stop or pop in and out and fire on its own or sometimes for bits I have full control.
Is this controller faulty because I can return it tomorrow for another it was second hand or is this just an issue with the game?
It did ask me if I was using a PS4 controller when I opened the cod mobile app and I selected yes. Just want to make sure before I go through the trouble of returning it

I bought ALL of the tickets for Altador from the Clouds because I wanted that item so bad…. Wasted over $20 for one NC item and have all of the AFTC NC items rotting in my SDB because I’m never going to use them, and all I wanted was the Aura.
…and I could have bought it less than a year later for $1.50?! REALLY?!
I’m loving the new Dyeworks options, and I really am happy they’re releasing some HTF NC items again, because they can be torture to trade for - especially ones from years ago. But god I want to slap myself for buying all of those altador from the clouds tickets…. What a waste of money. 🤦♀️
I might have to stop spending money on NC items to trade, since they may just devalue those items by rereleasing them less than a year later.

This happen a couple days ago.
My partner (37M) and I (32F) have been together for 6 months. He said some things to me the other day that really hurt me and I'm trying to figure out how to deal with them.
We met on a dating app. In every single one of my pictures I had (and still have) blue hair, I've had it for 11 years. My eccentric style of dress was also featured in the pictures I had up. It was never a secret this is how I look or how I enjoy to dress.
I usually warn my partners at the beginning that you will find my hair everywhere and that I am sorry about that. Early on he did complain that he wished my hair didn't stand out so much because someone asked him about it on a meeting when they saw it on him. He's a private person, at the time I took it to mean he was just a bit annoyed that that caused the conversation to happen while he was working. He is high up in the company so it's not like he was scolded oved it though. He never said a word about it again.
At the beginning I did dress very classy and simple and dressed up when going to see him but he would always say to change into something comfy. So it seemed be didn't really care about what I wore.
Since some trauma from my last ex, I have not dyed my hair since November 2021. My natural hair is quite grown out now so if I was going to change it now would be a great time. A couple of days before what he said to me, I was actually thinking of changing it since we were more serious now and I knew it wasn't his favorite and he hasn't pressured me at all to change it. I really respected that and that he respected how I like my hair so I thought changing my hair might me a nice gesture to show that and how serious I am. Well guess he cancelled that out now.
A couple of days ago he asked about my day and I said I went shopping and bought some boots. He asked what kind so I sent him a picture. He then said that we have totally opposite tastes in style and I said ya we already knew that. I then said not everything I wear is out there, I do like more simple things but, ya, I am a bit eccentric at times.
That's when he hit the first blow. He said "Lol eccentric is a nice way to put it". That hurt. If I like my style and the way I like to describe it is eccentric, then for him degrading the word I used to describe it is unkind. He's pretty well calling my fashion sense bad to him.
Me always trying to be the people pleaser in a relationship said, "Oh man I hope that doesn't scare you off". What I was looking for here was comfort. "Of course it doesn't, dress how you like to", would have been what I wanted to hear. That is not what I got at all.
He responded saying that it's "unfortunate" because sometimes there are formal functions he thinks I'd enjoy but I might be "a bit to on the nose (fashion wise)". Or even casual things like a dinner at a fancy restaurant.
Ow. Just ow. This man is embarrassed to be seen with me.
Again people pleasing, I said I do have formal clothes that are not out there. He goes, ya but your unique hair draws attention and would distract from the event and the networking (if we go to a fancy gala). Again ow, basically implying he's embarrassed of my hair and if you want to go to these events with me that I think you'll like, you'll have to change your hair.
Now I know the is 100% a him issue. He is worried about what other people think and worried about attention it may bring to him. Different colored hair is becoming more and more normal. Most likely if anyone says anything it'll be 2 seconds and done. If my hair can distract an entire event, the event must be awful. I jokingly texted my cousin and apologized for ruining her wedding with my hair. She laughed too, sarcastically saying no one remembers her wedding because of me and said what an ass he was being.
Then I did something I wish I hadn't because I don't want to beg or convince someone to be with me. I reminded him I've been growing it out for a while and trying to decide what to do with it. Then I told him about what I had been thinking the other day about changing it but I want it to be a surprise (which now the whole reason I was considering doing it is gone because of what he said and pressuring me to change it to attend nice things with him but he doesn't know this part). I was with my dad when this was happening so I told him if we are going to discuss this anymore please wait until I get back to my place.
He said nothing. He hasn't mentioned it since. He is acting like everything is normal. I think this man has no idea how much his words hurt me and what exactly he was implying with what he said.
If he hates my hair and style so much why did he match with me and continue to date me? Is he really being things shallow? After all the things I've done and shown him what kind of a person I am, are those really more important? We usually stay in and he said it's because he prefers saying in than going out but now I'm wondering if maybe that was a cover for the embarrassment of being seen with me. If he has to pop out to pick up something we need he'll tell me to stay in his place, could be a nice gesture telling me to rest but could be the embarrassment again. I have met no one in his life at all!
I'm trying to decide if this hurt is just too much if that's what he honestly thinks of me or if I should have a conversation with him and explain it all. I want to wait to have this conversation face to face which is why I have been playing it normal for now. He is very smart, very direct and specific, and I am worried if I say things like you basically implied you are embarrassed to be seen with me he'll just say I never said that though I was just telling you the reality of how these events are and that your style isn't the usual for them.
I am having a hard time considering letting him go. He has been there for me through a really tough time with issues with my ex and things with the issues with my ex are going to get crazy soon. I know that doesn't mean I owe him anything. He's been my constant support and I'd really feel lost if he wasn't there through the next steps. I don't have a ton of support around me.
Sorry for the long post but I figured I'd cover all the relevant info. I need help figuring out what to do and how to word things to him if I do choose the discussion route. Let me have it with your thoughts. How do I deal with this situation? How should I word things to best get my feelings and points across?

So, I bought a screen in 2016 and used it with my old PC. It is an Asus monitor with a VGA and an HDMI input, that I never had any issue with. It was never hit/violently shaken before (at least to my knowledge), and never moved until recently.
I received a new portable PC for Chrismas (the former one was steady), but only changed my setup in February. The monitor was left off for almost two months. I gave the old PC to an association, but thought keeping the screen would be practical. I moved it aroung 50 centimeters from its original location. And my problems began there.
I discovered that my new PC doesn't have a VGA input, so I wanted to buy an HDMI cable at my local store. They were out of stock, so I went with a VGA/HDMI adaptator (honesty, I believe in hindsight they were never out of stock and just wanted me to pay more.. probably a scam, which I fell for). Anyway, I set eveything up, tried to turn the screen on, and.. nothing. Turns out, the monitor now needs to be pulled in a very specific angle to be turned on. Annoying, but ok. It make a scary buzzing sound when I turn it on too, but since it goes away after a few seconds, I try not to worry about it. But I don't feel safe, and unplug it form its electricity source when I'm not using it. Any idea of what I could do to make it better?
Second (and more urgent) issue : at first, my setup did not have further problems. But one week ago, the monitor was not recognised by the PC. I tried to unplug/plug the HDMI adaptator, didn't work. It was only recognised when I did this technique with both VGA outputs. The same happened two days ago. Tried the technique, didn't work. It was only after I tried to pull my screen to turn it on that it worked, for some reason. It happened today. Tried the technique+the pull. Didn't work. I tried to switch the VGA outputs out of dispear (I tried every solution Google gave me for two hours and it didn't work, so I was exhausted by it), and it worked. But it seems that I'm making the issue worse everytime.. I narrowed the potential sources to 1. The VGA input of the monitor and 2. the VGA/HDMI adaptator. I'm not sure though.. what could be causing this? I don't want to take two hours everytime I use the screen, and have no more ideas of what I could possibly do to make it work anymore.
And finally, possibly a third issue : I'm planing on having to plug/unplug this screen a lot in a few months. Is it even worth it? I love this screen, I'm just 17 and this is the only one I've ever owned. I got to choose it and to pay it myself with the money my family gave me back then, so I'm really attached to it and don't want to get rid of it.

Blue - pins that hold the door. Green - guide rails that keep the door in place. Red - rope, fishing line, wire... Purple - cant remember the word... ENG is not my first language... You see. Does not need to be round but it helps. Orange - dropping door. Brown - floor trigger. Materials: Old wardrobe/wood. Rope, fishing line, wire... what ever you have that does the job. Tools: Jigsaw. Electric screwdriver and a drill bit. You place food at the end of the floor trigger, dog steps on it, trigger drops, rope pulls the pins out, door drops. Easy. DOOR CAN NOT BE TO HEAVY. The force the door exerts on the pins muss be SMALLER then the force the dog exerts on the floor trigger, factor in the friction. If the door is to heavy the floor trigger will not drop and the pins will not fly out. Red, what ever you use for it, MUST BE AXSACTLY THE SAME LENGHT. If one pin flies out before another one side of the door will drop sooner and the door may het stuck. The same thing may happen if you use only one pin. Test it with something that has the similar weight BUT DO NOT THROW IT IN, try to emulate the movement of the dog, you will probably need to move that circle (does not need to be circular) under the floor trigger to get it working. Length of the floor trigger must not be shorter then the dog's body from head to back legs, dog will probably trigger it a bit more then half way in on the floor trigger so factor that in. Do not irreversibly fix any moving parts and that circle below the floor trigger before you get it working properly. You will need to fidget it a bit to get it working smoothly but it does work. |

Budget doesn't really matter but he only plays FPS games that run fine on a potato so I'm leaning towards just getting the cheapest parts that will run CS/Minecraft/Fortnite/Valorant.
This first list is the "use now and never upgrade" option for $318.86. Only parts from this build that would ever be reused is the case and fans.

Hello! I just wanted to give an update on my paws situation. Seems like I have had a pretty severe case of paws based on my readings. I smoked for about a year, daily. Some bud, some carts, some delta 8. The past month I had no brain fog, no sleep issues, almost no anxiety, etc. I just lack a strong sex drive. I hit 9 months four days ago. I'm in a wave again, but it's so much less intense than it used to be. Anxiety and brain fog are back, but way more bearable. Still have some chest discomfort. Hoping I'm nearing the end of this. Just wanted to share some encouragement! Feel free to look at my previous posts to see my progress and symptoms.

I am trying to get setup for the Coreum Xcore airdrop and have my XRP on my ledger nano cold wallet. I connected my XUMM app account to my ledger nano and it shows my XRP balance. I setup a trustline to XUMM using XRPL services and that all seems to be setup.
However, on XRPL services, it says I'm logged in with (WALLET ADDRESS) followed by a balance that doesn't reflect what is on my ledger nano. It's the balance of what is in my XUMM wallet.
Any ideas? I'd prefer not to have to transfer all of my XRP to my XUMM wallet if it can be avoided.
