2023.03.23 21:38 leagal_deagle Gun Store Buddy Thread
A recent post led to multiple users offering to join trans/nonbinary/queer would-be firearm purchasers to visiting gun stores. It started in Houston, but seems to be nationwide, which we all appreciate. Rather than create multiple threads, and rather than just limit the buddy system to LGBTQ+ people needing buddies, let's assume that anyone that puts their name into the hat is willing to be a buddy to anyone who feels like a gun store outsider, whether LGBTQ+, cis female, black, hispanic, etc.
As for formatting, top-level comments are limited to the state where you can be a buddy. Replies to those comments should be the city or geographic area within the state. If you want to focus your buddy-ness on one specific group (i.e. female), just put that in your reply.
Of course, please take measures to ensure your personal safety when meeting strangers from the internet, whether you are a buddy or need a buddy.

2023.03.23 21:32 CastlevaniaSkeletor AITA for making my mom upset because I remember an Easter differently than she does?
So for context, my brother and I are 7 years apart and I was not very happy when I found out about him. Everyone told me that I was being a jealous brat and a horrible big sister, it didn’t seem like anyone really cared about my feelings or fears for having a new sibling. Anyway, fast forward to a few months after he’s born and it’s around Easter time. I remember us being super broke, like to the point where we were scavenging coins for gas and driving to the station with the fuel on the red line. We weren’t usually this broke and I assume it was one of the days before my dad’s next paycheck so money was coming soon. I remember being in the store and seeing this LPS rabbit that came with a hairbrush that would move its eyes or something, I wanted it so bad. My parents told me that I could get the toy but that would be my Easter until they got paid (typically for Easter I would get a basket with a few items I asked for and candy). I agreed and got the toy. Come Easter Day (like a week later or something) I wake up kinda bummed because I knew that it wouldn’t be like a normal Easter morning. I also knew that my mom had bought my brother a little basket with some clothes and baby stuff since he was only a few months old and didn’t want for anything specific. I just remember being pissed that he got a basket and I didn’t (I am aware this is jealous, bratty behavior lol I understand now) and my mom made us pose for a picture with bunny ears on, I looked pissed and they told me to stop being such a jealous brat. I did get of course the LPS toy, the bunny ears and a chocolate bar but being that it was much less special than normal Easter and that those were things I would normally get throughout the year, it didn’t count as Easter or something (Yes- I was a spoiled brat and I know that other kids get less than that. I understand the value of spending time with family and just being alive with a roof above my head. At the time I measured love by how much I got because that was what I was accustomed to, being that my dad never really interacted with me or cared to talk to me lol, he was there but not there ya know? Anyway yeah rambling over)
Flash forward to now, my brother and I have a good relationship and we don’t fight or get jealous of each other anymore. I also matured of course lol. Now my mom and dad have a lot of relationship issues and my mom uses me as a therapist sort of and tells me every disgusting little detail, it’s taken a toll on my mental health but eh what else can I do, she doesn’t have any friends or family to talk to so if that’s what keeps her afloat then I’ll listen and give her my best relationship advice (even though I’ve legit never been in a relationship before and I don’t have any super close friends). Sometimes when we are talking I will bring up something that happened in the past and she gets mad at me because I remember it wrong. For example, when I was about 6-7 years old we had a neighbor that had a son around my age and I cringed when they came over because he would break my toys, hit me and overall be mean. One day he had me tackled on the ground in front of my father, mother, and his mother. I was screaming and crying trying to get away from him while he tried to pull my clothes off. Well my mom claims that we were just roughhousing and that I remember it wrong. Alrighty. Anyway, we were talking about Easter because my dad had tried to convince my mom not to buy my brother and I Easter this year because my brother just got a new iPad, whatever that’s reasonable I suppose. Of course my mom won’t stand for that because she is a giving spirit and always tries to make sure that we have something, even if my dad gives her hell for it. I had mentioned that easter I mentioned earlier where I got the LPS days before and my brother got a basket thingy even though he was a few months old. I wasn’t mad, not accusing anything, it’s become something that I just carry around with me and it’s a part of me lol. I understand why it happened or I found a way to justify it. Well she got super upset almost to the point of crying and said stuff like “I’m sorry that you remember it wrong” and “You are crazy.” It kinda made me question my sanity because I’ve always remembered it whether it made sense to my 8 year old mind or not. I’m an avid journaler and there has been moments where I remember something and my mom remembers differently and the journal entry from that time proves that I remembered right. But now she’s upset and I guess mad at me because I remembered that Easter wrong. Is it possible that my jealousy of my brother made me misremember or something like my mom says? Am I wrong for remembering it that way? Should I seek a therapist because I don’t remember my childhood the way it happened? AITA for making my mom almost cry about it?
TLDR: I remember an Easter as a child that I didn’t get a basket, I made my mom nearly cry bringing it up today and now she’s mad at me. Am I the asshole for remembering it differently and making her upset?
I didn’t proof read so sorry for mistakes lol

ABOUT SURGE PROTOCOL: $TACO has been launched on BNBChain with a SRG20 contract. SURGE Protocol is an on-chain protocol which operates on BNBChain and ETH Mainnet. The simplest way to describe this protocol is to look at it as a "blockchain" on an already populated blockchain, without the need to bridge any SRG tokens to anywhere. It's a direct competitor to UnİSwap and PancakeSwap, which does not use external LP's we're used to see from these.
Features of SRG20 projects: - Unruggable LP, customer funds are stored directly in the contracts which have no withdrawal function - No DEX fees (unlike UniSwap and PancakeSwap) - About 80% less network gas fees (no router in the way) - Full MEV Bot sandwich front-running protection - Launch projects without initial liquidity - Buy/sell with contract functions (doesn't matter if a swap/website goes down, you can always buy/sell SRG & SRG20 tokens via direct blockchain interaction) .. and many more!
You buy SRG tokens with BNB/ETH first, then you can directly buy SRG20 BSC/ETH tokens (like our $TACO) with these SRG tokens on the SurgeSwap or the respective SRG20 tokens BSCScan page. All SRG20 tokens are only paired with SRG.
Audits of SRG and SRG20 can be found here:

2023.03.23 21:14 JustAnotherMaineGirl Clothes: Beyond Basic Decluttering
It's relatively easy to go through an initial sort through your closet, to discard or donate anything that is getting too ratty, doesn't fit your current body, or no longer suits your current tastes or lifestyle. But what about all the clothes that you still like and still want to wear, and it's still way too much stuff to store in your available space? If you're struggling to fit too many wearable clothes into too little space, here are a few tips I've found useful over many years of living in small spaces.
- Choose your colors. One of the easiest ways to further declutter your wardrobe is to identify colors you like that match well with your individual hair, eye, and skin color, and discard anything that clashes with them. Neutral tones like black, white, navy, and beige are great as mix-and-match coordinates for your colored items, but even among the neutrals, there are certain shades that will flatter while others will make you look washed-out. Don't keep ANYTHING if the color doesn't make you look and feel awesome!
- Shop your closet. At the beginning of each new season, try on EVERYTHING that you typically would want wear in that season, from outerwear to underwear. (For convenience, I'll typically wear a white T-shirt while I try on all my skirts and pants, then a single pair of black pants while I try on blouses, tees and sweaters.) For each item in wearable condition that you still like, ask yourself: would I pay full retail price to buy this again today? If no, that's an easy toss into your discard pile, although not without regrets and gratitude for making you look great in previous seasons. If yes, toss it in a "Want to keep" pile. More about that in Item 4 below.
- Remove and store out-of-season clothes...judiciously. Your closet and bureaus should be reserved for in-season clothes that you look forward to wearing soon. So pull out all your out-of-season stuff, stow it in rodent-proof containers, and move the containers to a less-convenient location. (I'm not proud of this, but I once used my car trunk to store out-of-season items I couldn't bear to let go, when I didn't have any other place to stow them. And they were in fine shape, when I took them back out.) Before storing them away, do a quick cull to discard or donate anything that no longer merits the extra work of storing and moving it in and out of seasonal rotation. If your favorite everyday-wear leggings are starting to pill and the fabric is wearing thin in spots after several winters of heavy use, swallow hard...then out they go!
- Compare similar items in your "Want to keep" pile. Chances are good that you've got similar items in your "keep" pile, and you have neither the room nor the need to keep them all - especially if it means crammed-up storage space that wrinkles everything and makes it harder to select what to wear. So before putting all those wanna-keep items back and deferring the hard decison-making for another year, bite the bullet and make each item compete against at least one other. If you only get to keep one, will it be the blue T-shirt from your favorite concert, the green one that matches your eyes, or the black one with the sassy quote? Do you want to keep the jeans that make your butt look amazing, or the pair that is more comfortable? The corduroy skirt, or the wool plaid? And how many times have you actually worn a dress and spike-heeled shoes in the past few years, regardless of how pretty they are and how great you look in them?
I hope that some of you will find these suggestions helpful. Please feel free to add your own favorite tips to this list!

2023.03.23 21:10 Belmonda Embrace Reuseable Products
| Introduction A lot of people are familiar with recycling. But what about reusing? Reuse is great for the environment, and it’s actually easy to do. There are plenty of things you can reuse in your daily life that will save you money as well as keep plastic out of landfills. Here are some ideas: Reusable shopping bags You may be wondering why you should have reusable shopping bags. Well, here are the top five reasons: - They're better for the environment. Plastic bags are bad for our planet, so it makes sense to ditch them in favor of something that will last longer and not pollute as much.
- They're healthier than plastic bags. Did you know that some reusable shopping totes can be washed up to 100 times? This means they won't get dirty as fast as disposable bags do, which means less germs getting onto your food or into contact with anyone who touches them! Plus, some materials like glass or stainless steel don't retain odors like nylon does (which is why many people prefer those types). So if someone buys something smelly like fish in these types of containers then whoever receives their gift won't have any problem enjoying their meal later because there won't be any lingering smells left behind!
Reusable water bottles Reusable water bottles are the perfect way to reduce your plastic waste and save money. Plastic water bottles are a huge contributor to the world's plastic pollution problem, which is why you should use reusable alternatives instead. Reusable water bottles have many benefits: they're better for your wallet, they help protect the environment and wildlife, and they're more convenient than buying individual plastic bottles each time you want a drink of water. You can also choose from a variety of sizes and styles so that there's one that suits your needs perfectly! Refillable coffee cups - Reusable coffee cups are more environmentally friendly than disposable cups.
- Reusable coffee cups are better for your wallet.
- Reusable coffee cups can be used to hold other drinks, like water or tea! Some reusable coffee cups even have lids that keep hot drinks hot (and cold drinks cold).
Cloth napkins and towels - Cloth napkins and towels are a great way to reduce your waste. They can be used over and over again, washed in the washing machine, and are useful for drying hands, wiping up spills and cleaning up messes.
- Cloth napkins are especially useful when camping or picnicking because they're lightweight and take up very little space in your backpack or picnic basket.
Food storage containers If you want to make the most of your reusable products, it's important that you know how to store them properly. Food storage containers are one of the easiest things to keep clean and sanitary when they're not in use. To keep your food storage container fresh, wash it with hot soapy water before each use and then rinse thoroughly with hot water before drying completely or placing in an air-tight bag or container. Reusable ice cube trays are also easy to clean: simply run them through a dishwasher cycle (without soap), or soak them in hot water for about 15 minutes before washing by hand with mild detergent and warm water. Afterward, let them air dry completely before storing away again! Sandwich bags and snack bags can be cleaned similarly--just make sure no residue remains on either side of the plastic material after washing! If there is still some leftover crumbs from previous meals inside these types of containers after being washed thoroughly once already then try using warm vinegar instead; this will help remove any remaining dirt particles while disinfecting at the same time! Wool dryer balls to reduce static and save energy. Instead of using dryer sheets, try wool dryer balls. These little fabric spheres are made of 100% pure wool yarn and can be used to reduce static in your clothes while saving you money on energy costs. The first step is to simply toss one or two into the dryer with your wet clothes. You may want to experiment with how many balls work best for you; some people like three while others prefer just one or two. Once they're done spinning and tumble-drying, take them out (they'll be hot!) and store them somewhere safe until next time--you don't want to leave them in the machine! If any lint sticks around after washing, use an old toothbrush or similar tool to remove it from all sides of each ball before putting them away again so nothing gets caught in there next time around." A filtered water dispenser instead of buying bottled water. One of the easiest ways to make a positive environmental choice is by using a filtered water dispenser instead of buying bottled water. Bottled water comes with its own set of problems, including plastic waste and increased carbon emissions from transporting the product to your home. A filtered water dispenser will save you money in the long run as well. The average American spends over $1,400 per year on bottled water, which adds up to about 2 million pounds of plastic waste per day! If you use one or two reusable bottles instead of buying single-serving containers every day, those savings add up quickly! The more you use reusable products, the less you'll need to buy things that are bad for our environment The more you use reusable products, the less you'll need to buy things that are bad for our environment. And that's a good thing! - Reusable products are better for your wallet because they save money in the long run. You won't have to buy disposable items like paper towels and napkins again and again, which will save you money over time.
- Reusable products are better for your health because they don't contain harmful chemicals like those found in plastic bottles or food containers (like BPA). They also don't require any additional packaging or wrappings like plastic bags, so there's nothing extra going into landfills after they're used up!
- Reusable products help keep our home clean by not adding an excess amount of waste into landfills every day--and we all know how important it is to keep things clean around here ;) If everyone started using more recyclable options instead of disposables then maybe someday we could even become completely sustainable as a society...but until then let's just stick with what works best today :)
The best thing you can do for the environment is to reduce your waste. Buying reusable products is a great way to do this, and it will save you money in the long run too. submitted by Belmonda to budgetingforbeginners [link] [comments] |
2023.03.23 21:10 Legitimate_Ad785 Company Just went out of business last week. Found a new job but
The job is very stressful, and the boss likes to micromanage, it's also a Mon to Thur type of Job 32 hours, and wants to pay $28 per hour. Basically, he wants me to manage 3 Google Ads accounts with each having over 300 ad groups with 10,000 products. Basically every change I would make he would ask why, and would tell me to tell him if I'm making any changes.
He also wants me to optimize the 6 websites he has run on an old platform, each has 6000 products. He also wants me to manage his affiliates and his Indian workers oversea. Also, his been trying to find someone since Aug of 2022.
Basically, on the second day, I got overwhelmed and left. Btw he has a store, but I will be working from his house. And that was another red flag, he made a tiny room in his house into an office. Basically a room the size of a bathroom with 3 people in it.
What would you guys do? Take it, and wait until you found someone thing better, or you would just take your unemployment money until you found something better.

Festival of Fools - Year 6
The Festival of Fools is a day of feasting, drinking, and foolishness. Having survived a long, dark, cold winter, participants don brightly colored and garishly patterned clothing and dance in the streets like court jesters, each competing with the others to see who can pull off the most foolish (yet generally harmless) prank(s).
Festival of Fools lasts for 12 days and runs from Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, at Noon, Pacifically, thru Monday, March 27th, 2023, at Noon, Pacifically.

General Event Information
- Unlike regular missions, Event missions cost Event Tokens to attempt. You won't be able to start the Event missions until you have enough Tokens to pay for one.
- You earn Event Tokens at a fixed rate and in any campaign. This means you'll earn the same amount of Tokens whether your game is open or not. (Roughly 1 every 25 seconds.) The overall total of Event Tokens you will earn passively during the Event is roughly 41,460 give or take a few based on CNE's math. Make sure you don't do any missions before they show as Easy otherwise you may waste your Tokens.
- You'll have a chance to earn three Champions with each Event. You'll have access to the three most recent Event Champs. Unlocking other Champions from past years is possible, but requires accessing them via a Time Gate. I recommend unlocking all three Event Champs and trying to gear them up roughly equally for use in the future.
- Events start everyone off at zero Favor. Due to this, you'll need to manually click, or have Familiars click, on the field to damage enemies during the start of your first mission to make sure your lone Champion isn't overrun.
- Even if you complete the Champion Unlock Adventure you're on, you don't necessarily want to hit "Complete" right away. You want to continue on and try to earn as much Favor as possible. This is due to the Token cost of Unlock Adventures/Free Plays. Treating each one like a Favor run helps you stay efficient with your Token spending. Variants are horrible for farming Favor though, so you can close those once you hit the goal.
- Important: Whatever you do, don't spend lots of time sitting at a wall during an Event unless you're waiting on Tokens to start your next run. Time is your enemy (the past it threatens...) and you need to run as many Free Plays as possible to maximize your Favor and complete all the Variants on the first try.
- Once you have completed all the variants and no longer truly need to farm Favor other than for the conversion bonus, you can just run Free Plays to 50 and then complete the run to get an Event Champion Chest, either Silver or Gold randomly. This is the best way to gear up your Event Champions as normal Gold Chests from other campaigns don't contain gear for them and you're limited to three Gold Chests (and some Silver Chests) in Time Gates to gear them up until their Event returns a year later.
- New players can fully complete Events if they know what to do. Make sure to check for a guide to the specific Event to review when it comes out and don't hesitate to ask questions. The rest of us are here to help you succeed!
- Once more for the people in the back: It's usually wise to not attempt the mission Variants until they show as Easy difficulty. The difficulty rating is based off the Favor you have accumulated and while it isn't an ideal indicator of difficulty, it's a decent starting point. I highly recommend waiting until a mission shows as Easy before starting it so as not to waste your Event Tokens. This is the single-biggest factor in using Tokens efficiently as a newer player.
- Once you've earned your Event Champions and gear for them, the rewards for your hard work aren't over. The other major reward from Events is a conversion of Event Favor into the main campaign of your choice. This is why, even if you've finished all the variants, it's still good to do deep runs to gain Favor in the Event. You can use the following table to see if it's worth it to you to keep doing runs based on how much Favor you're getting with each one. As you get more Global Blessings, Patron Perks, and better gear on your Champions, you'll be able to get higher and higher conversion percentages.
Here's a quick example of the conversion breakdown from Event to main campaign. The percentage is multiplied by the total Favor you have earned in that campaign, including what you've spent on Blessings. There is no need to reset Blessings when converting Favor. There is no cap that I'm aware of to this conversion; the start numbers and end numbers are just examples but continue both ways.
Event Favor Total | Main Campaign Conversion % |
1e07 | 70% |
1e08 | 80% |
1e09 | 90% |
1e10 | 100% |
1e11 | 110% |
1e12 | 120% |
1e13 | 130% |
Note: Numbers are in Scientific Notation for ease of reference. You can switch your UI to show Scientific Notation by hitting the Y key or selecting it in the settings. After you get out of normal number range, this is the best way to easily see your progress.
Before You Buy Chests from the Store
If you plan on buying Gold Event Chests with real money from the store (which is a great way to support the game!), keep this in mind:
- Be sure you buy any Gold Event Chest Packs before opening any earned Gold Event Chests as you're guaranteed a Golden Epic with your real money purchase. When you flip the Golden Epic card, close out of the Store and verify it on your Champion, then go back in and open your other Chests. This way you're guaranteed to get other items when you open your Gold Chests instead of just duplicating that one on accident.
- You get buffs when spending real money based on how much you spend. Plan your purchase in advance!
- $5 - Empowered Power Boost - Increases the damage of all Champions by 100% (lasts 1 day)
- $10 - Empowered Power Burst - Increases the damage of all Champions by 300% (lasts 2 days)
- $20 - Empowered Faith - Increases all Favor earned from Resets by 50% (lasts 3 days)
- $50 - Empowered Clairvoyance - Increases all Gold found by 100% (lasts 4 days)
- Getting multiple of the same purchase amounts adds to the duration of the buff. All buffs stack with each other.
Note: Every $10 spent in one transaction gets you a guaranteed Shiny item! Keep this in mind as well as those can greatly increase the power of your items and thus your Champion.

2023.03.23 20:49 QueenBee_xo AVOID Swimchicgirls.com HUGE clothing scam website AKA Muchen Clothing Co
I ordered some clothes off this site over a month ago and their website claims that they offer refunds on clothing if it is damaged or sent in error. The dresses run anywhere from $30-$100+ USD each and they straight up feel like they are made out of plastic! Like dollar store table cloth plastic. One dress came with a massive hole in it and another one was 3 sizes too small (on top of that the top portion of the dress is made in such weird proportions that your chest would be completely out of it no matter what size you are).
I have emailed back and forth with them for over a month to get some of my money back and it has just been the same responses repeated over and over again, at first they offered me a $10 refund on a $200 order (The dress that had the hole in it was $60 alone). They claim they cannot give refunds of more than 30%. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! The pictures are all stolen, the reviews on the website/facebook/and instagram are all FAKE. I commented on a ton of their facebook advertisement posts and not a single person replied to my comments (and I made a lot). The entire website and all of their advertisements/pictures are either fake or stolen from the websites that actually sell these items.
Lesson learned, double check on EVERY website you order from even if they have rave reviews because theres a good chance the reviews could be fake :( It sucks because I had planned to wear these dress for my bridal shower and bachelorette party and now I'm our $200 and have to start looking again. So if anyone has any good dress site suggestions that aren't going to steal my money that would be great!

2023.03.23 20:48 AnyAbbreviations7217 My Guide to Hell’s Itch - Remedies, Causes
PLEASE BE AWARE NOTHING IN THIS ARTICLE SHOULD BE TAKEN AS MEDICAL ADVISE. THIS IS COMPRISED OF MY EXPERIENCE AND OTHER PEOPLES POSTS. ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TRYING ANY REMEDY OR IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING CHANGES IN YOUR HEALTH. THIS POST IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
Hey guys, I was unfortunate enough to experience the agony of Hell’s Itch and I want to share what I learned from experience and scouring Reddit (in a summary for you).
CAUSES: I started noticing some similarities in Reddit posts as well as with myself and thought I would share them as potential causes.
-Sunburn (obviously)
-Previously Dry Skin (I’ve noticed this in myself and others mentioned it)
-Vitamin D Deficiency (Easy to be deficient after winter time and not seeing the sun for a long time, this was a common symptom mentioned)
-Dehydration (Something I’ve noticed in myself just prior to my sunburn but follows the same path of potential causes)
PROCESS: The process can vary slightly but mine was very similar to a typical Hell’s Itch process.
-You get sunburned (a decent burn maybe not your worst though)
-Nothing out of the ordinary in the first 48 hours since the sunburn
-Trigger (something seems to trigger the “attack” and start your clock of Hell’s Itch, the most common I read including my trigger was taking a shower)
-You experience an extreme amount of pain and itch coming from the affected skin until you can get the attack under control (Benadryl Gel Capsules worked for me)
-As long as nothing else “triggers” your skin you’ll have moderate to mild itching feeling for the next 1-5 days. The itching sensation should slowly fade as your sunburn heals (about 2-3 days for me)
-You’ll be back to normal, having gone through Hell and back.
SOLUTIONS / DO NOTS: This is a mixture of things that worked for me and things Reddit says to avoid.
-DO NOT ITCH YOUR SKIN! There’s a good chance this will immediately trigger an attack of pain and extreme itch.
-DO NOT use Aloe Vera (also called after sun lotion) this will most likely make things much worse
-DO NOT take cold showers or baths (again makes things worse)
-DO NOT expect to get great results from Steroid creams or lotions (they may even make it worse, or at best not help that much)
-POTENTIAL SOLUTION BUT USE AT YOUR OWN RISK: during my attack I assumed I was dealing with swimmers itch, so I made a paste out of baking soda + water and my dad covered my back in this paste. Surprisingly, it helped alleviate the itching and pain while he went to the store and got me Benadryl. I don’t know if it was the baking soda that helped or merely the fact that my skin was no longer exposed to the air, but either way it helped me and I have not seen this mentioned anywhere on Reddit.-SOLUTION: Benadryl, worked for many people and myself included (I took the Gel Capsules at max dosage). Brings down the Itchy sensation to a more dull feeling. Just expect to sleep for a few hours after you take it.-SOLUTION: Drinking a ton of water and rehydrating. I did this and I imagine it only helped in my recovery process.
-SOLUTION: Hot showers, the reason I would think this works is because it opens up your pores that may otherwise be closed, due to the sunburn and tightness of your skin. I never had to try this, but many many people on Reddit say this works.
-SOLUTION: Peppermint oil. I’ve used this in past (not with Hell’s Itch) and the thing you learn about peppermint oil is it’s known as a driving oil, which is another way to say it’s a deep penetrating oil, I would guess this is why so many on Reddit have used this.
-SOLUTION: Vitamin A & D creams (This would almost make sense, especially if a Vitamin D deficiency was one of the causes in the first place) I didn’t try this but a few on Reddit said it helped.-SOLUTION: Some people had success with heat, such as hot pads, hair dryers on the skin etc. I wanted to avoid this simply due to the fact it can damage your skin, but if this is a solution you think you need i would look at other posts. BE AWARE, your skin is already burned from the sun and adding a bunch of heat could be damaging so be extra careful.-AVOID touching the affected skin. This could trigger it to flare up. I found it’s best to just let it be.
-AVOID letting anything rub on the skin. I would honestly avoid wearing clothes on the affected skin if possible as this would probably only make it worse. As mine was on my back I avoided sitting against the back of chairs and preferred sleeping on my side, not to irritate it.-POTENTIALLY AVOID fans, air conditioning etc. you should gauge how your skin is feeling in the type of environment you’re in. If blowing air is helping than by all means go for it, for me the blowing air irritated my skin.MENTAL: I want to address this because this plays a huge factor in Hell’s Itch. As a “tough” 29 year old Male, Hell’s Itch brought me to my knees and on the verge of tears. You should plan on being mentally tough to get through some of these moments but REST ASSURED THIS WILL PASS.
-People don’t know what you’re feeling. I think explaining the severity of the pain and itch will help them understand this isn’t just sunburn discomfort. It’d be great to show them some articles about Hell’s Itch. The best way I could describe it to someone is that it feels like pins and needles being pressed into my skin, being bitten by fire ants and mosquitos all at the same time, and when an attack comes on it feels like I’m being stabbed. Add all that to the strongest urge to itch your skin you’ve ever felt and you’ll get an idea of what it’s like.
-THIS IS NOT PERMANENT, as much as you’re suffering right now, keep your head up. This will pass and things will go back to normal. Don’t make permanent decisions based on temporary pain. YOU CAN GET THROUGH THIS! -YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO PULL THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE! I PROMISE!If you’re reading this post, I’m sorry you have to go through this. But you can do it! I know you can! You’ll feel so much better soon! I hope this helps and remember NOTHING I HAVE WRITTEN HERE IS MEDICAL ADVICE. ALWAYS CONSULT A DOCTOR WHEN EXPERIENCING ANY CHANGES TO YOUR HEALTH.

2023.03.23 20:34 DifortuneCookie 36 [M4F] EastBay - Moms/Married Women
Have you ever locked eyes with someone..maybe at the coffee shop or grocery store..maybe you're wearing your ring or maybe you see theirs, but you cant shake the spark..that guy is absolutely making eyes with you. Don't you wish you could just go ahead and start that conversation you both know you really want?
This sort of thing is something I spend too much time thinking about. Maybe you do too..or, you know exactly what I mean and share the sentiment.
Tired of staring and need one to call my own..well, sorta..you know what I mean
Whatever your situation, I want to talk :)
Would really love to connect with someone. I miss having someone to think about during the day..looking forward to hugging, stealing my hoodies, kissing..ect. Fill those voids for each other. Mentally, physically, whatever else-ally. Chatting throughout the day, coffee dates..Love all of it
Tad about me - white, mid 30s, allegedly look younger but who knows, 6'4, fit, brown hair, hazel/green eyes, handsome according to the same people who may have just been being nice about the age thing, a few tattoos but not full hipster, no drugs/disease & vaccinated
Looking for someone late 20s and up..Im generally more attracted to Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern and Latin women..but open in general. ''Type''..shape/size, open to whoever...if we click, we click, right
Sound like you?? or close enough?? Tell me what about this caught your eye or resonated with you..and a little bit about yourself.
Hope you find what you're looking for one way or another

What is PAD?
Peripheral Arterial Disease–PAD–is a common, yet serious, disease. It occurs when extra fats and cholesterol circulating in the blood collect in the walls of the arteries and reduce or block the flow of blood to your limbs. PAD is most commonly seen in the legs, and nearly everyone who has PAD suffers from an inability to walk as fast or as far as they once could.
Early treatment of P.A.D. can restore your mobility, decrease your risk for heart attack and stroke, and possibly save your life. Often, people experiencing symptoms of PAD–like pain or cramping in the legs–do not report it because they think it is a natural part of aging.
Contact our network of leading physicians to access a painless cure for PAD!
What Causes PAD?
Plaque buildup in the arteries that supply blood to the limbs is the cause of PAD. In many cases, however, the exact cause of this buildup is unknown.
Besides the unknown factors behind plaque buildup, there are also several conditions and habits that raise your chance of developing the disease. Some are preventable. Others are not.
Arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients from your heart to the rest of your body. Healthy arteries are flexible and elastic. Over time, however, too much pressure in your arteries can make the walls thick and stiff — sometimes restricting blood flow to your organs and tissues. This process is called arteriosclerosis or hardening of the arteries.
Atherosclerosis is a specific type of arteriosclerosis, but the terms are sometimes used interchangeably. Atherosclerosis refers to the buildup of fats and cholesterol in and on your artery walls (plaques), which can restrict blood flow.
These plaques can also burst, triggering a blood clot. Although atherosclerosis is often considered a heart problem, it can affect arteries anywhere in your body. Atherosclerosis is a preventable and treatable condition.
