After finding out he had throat cancer in January, my dad has been on a rather rapid decline. And today found out it has spread very quickly and he does not have a long time on this earth. My family are extremely dysfunctional, and mine and my dad's relationship has been tough at times. I am the strong one of the family but I am petrified of what is to come and how this few weeks will be. I feel numb, and very overwhelmed. Just found this reddit page to try and seek some comfort in not being alone

I found that the module The Forest of Gornate fits pretty well in Burdock's Valley and it's also for 1e. Hopefully a good mashup.
Here is a new, very sloppily thrown together map for it.
You might have to really zoom in to see some parts. The distances are within the same order of magnitude for the most part. One hex is an hour of walking. Most paths on the original Gornare map are about one-and-a-third hex long.
Also the chasm is double inverted. One, it's now some rocky ledges instead of a chasm, and two, the locations go counter clockwise instead of clockwise. You'll manage.
The river is still a river, the road is still a road, there's some other things that ended up matching pretty well.

Reading all of our texts, the notes app ramblings, the poems and songs I wrote at the start and I remember being so happy. Then i go scroll down the text conversation or turn the page in my notebook and see little by little how I lost them. Then I feel so stupid because I thought there was something there when there was nothing. And that I had them only to lose them. That he meant everything to me while I meant nothing to him. He was just waiting until he found someone better.
But deleting the conversations or burning the pages isn’t an option. Because he showed me what it was like to not only love but to feel alive. It’s hard to keep it yet I want to remind myself of the beautiful words I wrote when I was in love.

Recently I’ve been gloomy, nothing interesting, and I keep searching among all tags and I found this Plum Candy Love, a KR novel. I’m the type who likes sweet, calm, not much family drama, slice of life, innocent first love. This novel ticks all of that. But I also love smut, horny and if there is sex scene it makes it bonus for me. So it got that, hell yeah. Then, I don’t like overpowered MC or ML, and this novel has it too!! No ML that can do everything, no MC that is super kind, selfless. And it is not a novel that is like a manual, holy shit, for once I don’t need to reading to how good they are at study and everyone is jealous of them taking the top spot. Ahhhh, this novel is good. If anyone find anything similar to this, please let me know. Meanwhile, my passion is back and I think I want to discover more from the same author.

i remembered it was divided in 6 parts which that flipnote was a series, you know that in hatena there was a series channel, this one was similar to suika, a spanish flipnote series i saw and i found 3 years ago, what i know is that the thumbnail was colored black with a red medieval cross in it, the characters i remembered was a white haired girl(girl 1), a black haired girl(girl 2) and a grey haired boy, the three wore black clothes, the girls had a nice gothic dress with roses on it. so chapter 1 started pretty heavy because it showed a first shot of a drip of blood, then a shot of girl 1 standing on the street fataly injured standing on a streetlight on the streets while raining,then it showed text then shots of her arms and legs bleeding, and a shot of her bleeding head while a close up of her red eye was closing, then it showed a text that said (days ago), and showed a flashback showing girl 1 and girl 2 smiling at each other, and it showed the boy smiling evily all along with the song prelude 12/21 was playing in a crusty condition thanks to the dsi. the other chapter i know was that girl 2 was yelling at that boy for killing her friend while in the shadows was playing in its crusty goodness, notice that this is one of those edgynotes last episode i remember was that girl 1 was resurrected by a holy cross like thing who entered through her body and healed her wounds. sorry if its too long, i had to describe anything, and no, this flipnote is not gravity neither bloodbound or suika, i hope someone knows it or has it, because i spent eons trying to find that and i even made recreations about that.

In August 2018, I purchased a vehicle from a private seller (technically my mom did since her name is on the title, but I digress). The car was posted on Facebook Marketplace stating it had 86,000 miles on it as a 2007 Kia Optima. I purchased the car for $3,780, but the seller put $2,900 on the bill of sale (he said so that I wouldn’t have to pay as much in taxes). Unfortunately I paid in cash so I don’t have evidence to prove I paid more than what he listed on the bill of sale. Mind you, I was 15 at the time and knew nothing about cars, nor did my mom. Nearly 5 years later, after finally checking the CarFax full report, I found out several things that were not disclosed to me or my mother at the time of purchase. The seller failed to tell me that my car was previously used as a rental car, it was in an accident, and that the odometer was rolled back. The car had roughly 130,000 miles when he bought it according to CarFax (the registration says 160,000 at the time of purchase, not sure which is actually correct), and it had close to 87,000 miles when I bought it from him. I live in Missouri, stl area. How should I go about this? Should I find an attorney, if so what kind of attorney do I look for in this scenario? Or should I just let it go since it’s been nearly 5 years? Mind you this guy still sells used cars on Facebook Marketplace and most of them seem to be the same as my car was, older used with significantly low mileage.

Around 14 years ago at the age of 15 I attempted suicide and over dosed on a large but unknown number of Bupropion pills which lead to several tonic-clonic seizures, a coma, and a vegetative state and was hospitalized for about week. I never had any follow up care besides a quick stay in a inpatient psychiatric hospital, and no one told me about any long term side affect or that a brain injury could be a possibility.
After my OD I wasn’t me anymore…Its very difficult gather my thoughts and put them into words, I have a terrible short term memory…I can’t recall most movies, books or events..even if I do remember, I won’t remember any details. I have severe brain fog and depersonalization and it’s incredibly difficult to learn new things as I just don’t retain most information, which has greatly affected my life and my ability to have a job. I also have gaps in my long term memory. I don’t really to think new thoughts either, it’s like my brain has been on repeat for years. I have pretty bad social skills/ anxiety that thankfully have improved but I still struggle with conversations. The first few years after my OD I had a full blown identity crisis because I wasn’t me anymore and it was scary. I also have severe fatigue…no energy and can sleep for 17 hours if I had the option. I’m very apathetic and just kinda here,my brain fog comes and goes but I still feel like I’m living in a dream.
I’ve expressed to my mother constantly that something isn’t right and she would always say I seem fine and would dismiss my symptoms and tell me I’m fine or “I get that way too sometimes” but she never really seemed understand or care about what I was through or how much it was effecting my life. My mom wasn’t present when I was in the ICU and I always ask her to tell me more about what happened but says that she doesn’t like thinking about it or just tells me the same thing she always does..you had grand mal seizures, and the doctors said you were in coma and when I finally got there you were moving around (her words not mine!!!) like a r*tard and I thought you were going to be a vegetable” she said she didn’t get any more information from the doctors and they didn’t tell her anything.
I never even thought a TBI could be an option because it was never brought up. I never knew there were implications of seizures or being in a coma until recently. I honestly didn’t even know what a TBI was until I met a man with one and he was explaining his story and it made some things click for me. I was only 15 and no one was taking me seriously, which caused so much anger, anxiety and confusion. I eventually just accepted that nothing could possible be wrong because if there was someone would have told me, right?!? Like holy shit, I almost died and didn’t even realize it until yesterday. I feel like if I was properly informed I wouldn’t have made the life choices I did. I wouldn’t have had kids, put my mom in debt for my multiple attempts at college..ugh I feel so much guilt.
I was diagnosed with ADHD because of my focus, disorganization, and lack of executive functioning and to my surprise these issues could very well be attributed to a TBI.
I’m kind of just here, existing…and I’m getting increasingly worried as time goes on that I’ll never be able to support myself or my children and have to constantly rely on other people for help. I requested my medical records from the children’s hospital to hopefully find out where I was on the coma scale and I’ll seek out help once I get those.

The story here is basically this: I'm (F29) six weeks pregnant and have just discovered that my husband (M32) of five months has a porn addiction. I know there are a lot of different opinions on porn in relationships and what's considered normal/right/etc, but for our relationship specifically, we've always talked about how porn could get in the way of our intimacy and we've always both agreed to stay away from it. However, a few weeks ago, I woke up to the movement of my husband masturbating next to me and watching porn. He lied about it at first and tried to make it sound like that wasn't what he was doing, even though it was incredibly obvious, which further diminished our trust. Our trust had already been broken for some time after I'd caught my husband in repeated lies about an ex (that's another story) so to have him lie straight to my face yet again about watching porn really brought on a trust deficit. Eventually he admitted that yes, he'd watched it and he'd watched it a few times since getting married, but after seeing how upset I was, he told me he'd cut it out and it'd be no problem for him. Since that was the week that I found out I was pregnant, my doubts about him slid to the backburner and I decided to just focus on the pregnancy and the fact that we'd be parents soon. This was my dream after all, to have a family.
A week later, though, my husband slipped up and I again caught him watching porn. He tried to lie about it and said I was starting to go crazy, but when I got down on my knees and begged him for the truth, he finally admitted to it.
The trust in our relationship is now completely gone. Can this emotional turmoil harm the baby? Should I leave?
I'm just at a loss on what to do and could really use some advice and guidance when it comes to having a healthy pregnancy here, because ultimately this pregnancy is my main concern and I'd hate myself if this anxiety hurt the baby in some way.

I see story recommendations for ! all the time but not for the current game- presumably because most of y’all are just reading everything as it comes out. I’ve skipped through every story I haven’t read for the dia, and of the ones I have read some seem pretty important and interesting and some honestly feel like filler. Which kinda shoots down my motivation for reading them all considering how many there are and how long they can be. (I play three other gacha games- I have a looot of story content to read.) The slipshod translation is also demotivating.
So my question is, what stories in the current game are considered the most important, relevant, impactful, interesting, etc? Stories that aren’t out in ENG yet are welcome since I can mark them to read when they’re released. Scout stories are totally cool.
(My best boys are Valkyrie, Leo, Rinne and Natsume- that said I’ve definitely found myself with more affection for boys I didn’t expect to after reading stories with them, so I’m not wanting to limit myself to stories with those characters.)

Hello! I'm a level 7 sorcerer (vampire) and my character has recently found a fascination with handguns, for example, they really like the idea of a revolver. As a player, I've never done any multiclassing, nor am I too interested on it.
I know it might be kind of a stupid question, but, without resorting to "Just add gunslinger levels", would there be a way to make this "build" work instead of just getting the revolver for Roleplay and my character? Feats, spells, magic items, etc.
I'm not planning on having 5 attacks per round with a 20+BAB or anything, just a build that can make me feel "useful" with the revolver every now and then. My main thing would still be spells and natural weapons.
(I already got the "amateur gunslinger" feat in mind, so I can use grit points, and my DM is willing to give me the exotic weapon training needed to wield the gun)

Please don’t share elsewhere. I started to post this on a moms subreddit, but I really don’t want to just pile on my husband; I’m trying really hard to keep an open mind about where I’m in the wrong.
DH and I are in our early/mid 30s and have two elementary-aged kids, which I homeschool. I’m proud of my husband in a lot of ways, and I don’t want to be mad at my husband It’s a tale as old as time, but I’m having a major issue with the amount of housework/kid-related tasks my husband contributes to. I’ve also been dealing with intermittent health issues for the past year, which I know is frustrating for him.
I have two 2-hour classes each week, during the evenings. DH has a martial arts class on two other nights per week. Our kids also have various activities, some during the day and some in the evenings. First, I’m always the one getting them ready and taking them to their activities. So, even on nights that I have class, I have to scramble all day to get myself packed and prepared, plus the kids clothes and equipment, then coordinate handoff of the kids to DH before my class. Then, when I get home just before bedtime, it’s clear that DH has just hung out and let the kids destroy the house, which is fine, except…About six months ago, I brought up my concerns to DH and we decided I’d would make a check list of items that DH could to help on a daily/weekly basis. He agreed to it (very simple items like putting dirty clothes in the hamper and dishes in the sink before bed, cleaning our shower once a week) but has never done it. Not once. If I don’t do it, it doesn’t get done; he will trudge through the piles of clothes on the floor like an ice skating rink, I’ve experimented to see how long he could go before he cleaned. It was long.
A few weeks ago, I had gotten some not great news from my doctor, and needed to increase my medication dosage. I was worried about my health and feeling crappy because of the meds. I started crying randomly in the middle of the day and DH saw (he WFH.) He finished work a couple of hours later and was getting ready to go to his martial arts class and was furious when I asked him to stay with the kids so I could rest. I felt so unsupported, like I was just a robot.
Last, and not as important as the other items, but we have two projects that have been sitting unfinished for 18 months and 6 months, respectively. Like door frames and trim in two rooms, mostly cosmetic stuff. He will not work on them. He just won’t finish them.
I feel like all he cares about is his martial arts class and making sure he gets time “off.” I’m glad that he found something he loves, but I don’t see how he expects me to do everything. I know he works hard at his job, but that is not what I see at home. I wish I could get through to him.

I have a MacBook pro (bought it ~2019) with the touch bar and recently got a Logitech MX Master 3S mouse.
Also recently this bug appeared where the keyboard (the one on the MacBook and any connected keyboard) would randomly type only special characters.
With the help of Google I found several posts suggesting the Option key was stuck and the approaches to fix this problem most of the times worked after restarting the laptop.
However the problem always came back after 15 minutes to an hour which was really annoying.
All this time I used the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse via Bluetooth. Today I just worked on the MacBook without the mouse and the problem did not occur the whole day.
I found no report of something like the Bluetooth mouse interfering with the keyboard online but is it possible that the mouse caused the problem? Did anyone else ever experience something like this?

Hi. I hope this is an okay place to ask this… I am helping someone catalogue their entire store for an auction. We will be listing everything at an auction house who will be doing an online auction. The auction house is out of town and there’s a lot of stuff to photograph, so I’m trying to help save time and money.
We’ll need multiple photos of items, as well as lot numbers and a description. So I thought the easiest way would be a spread sheet with the photos attached. I found an app that seems to do this called MyStuff2.. but it seems to be a personal inventory app, and while it can export a spread sheet, it only puts the photos name in the spreadsheet and not the actual photos.
Is there an easy app to do this? Basically I want to be able to number everything and easily give it multiple photos… the descriptions we can do after.
We have over 2000 items so I don’t want to manually put everything in a spread sheet. Thanks!

I use rapid charging places in shopping malls nearby, and they are maintained quite well. Same as everywhere else in the world, we usually only have one CHAdeMO port at each EV charging stations, it’s already hard enough. Somehow, my Leaf would occasionally have issues to communicate with the charger, it gets quite frustrating. For the first a few times when this happened, I found it useful to disconnect the charger, close the front lid, reopen again, hoping this would restart something. It works everytime!!! But today, this trick no longer works. I drove to a different place to charge, still not working, after trying several times, I gave up. Then drove back to the first place, plugged in, didn’t work, same error. Before I gave up for real, I clicked “retry” on the app, somehow it worked this time. Urggg, this is so random!!! 1 hour of time just got wasted for charging my car!
It always starts to communicate with the charger, 2 of 3 the charging lights would light up, one of them would blink. Then suddenly, all lights shut off, as if there was a time-out, then charger side report an error “cannot start charging”.
Has anyone here experienced the same problem with CHAdeMO? It’s quite frustrating if it happens when I’m traveling and needs a 30-40 min break to charge before continuing, although I’ve been lucky, this only happened once when I was on a long-distance trip, and that was most likely a faulty charger, as it went out of service after one try.

Hola, We're a family of 4 building a cabin in Mexico and availability of equipment here is not quite what it is in the US. I've found a 5 pack of 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Batteries (6400wh) from a supplier on Amazon MX called Ogrphy. I'm thinking about pairing them with a Growatt 3000w 110v invertesolar charge controller. I want to run a residential fridge full time, LED lighting, induction cook top, and possibly expand later for a dishwasher, and washing machine. Is this project suitable for DIY? I upgraded a solar charge controller in travel trailer once, other than that I don't really have any experience. What other considerations do I need make, what am I overlooking? I go to community college and I am taking an anthropology lecture class that has a lab class attached to it. In both of the classes is my ex-girlfriend who I dated for two years in high school. I don’t have any hatred in my heart but I feel extreme hatred towards this woman. She cheated on me with one of my friends and when I found out she plastered my name on social media saying I assaulted her. Because she is an idiot her story did not line up. She said I hit her in the face multiple times on June 21, 2022 which is not true because I was in San Diego that week visiting family. She recanted her story and wrote an apology saying she was scared for being ousted as a cheater and tried to turn the attention towards me. I wanted to blow up a building. What she did really messed me up. I lost a couple of friends and 8 months later people still believe I abused her. She has come out multiple times to try and clear my name but some people still don’t believe her. She has never directly apologized to me but I could care less if she does at this point.
I want nothing to do with my ex and I have stayed away from her in both classes. I have no reason to interact or confront her and it’s best for us to stay away. In the lab class we are paired up in groups of two. I am paired with a guy who I get along with very well. He also is a carpenter apprentice and on Monday and text me to say he broke his right leg and foot after falling off a ladder and is going to be out of class for over three weeks. I feel terrible for the guy.
Today I told my professor about my lab partner and he said I could join the partnership that includes my ex-girlfriend. I immediately said that was a bad idea and I could not join them due to serious personal reasons and I would be more than happy to join any other group. My professor said I am in the same place in the assignment we are doing as them and it is best for me to join them to finish the assignment, then I could join a different group if I felt like it.
This assignment is going on for three more weeks and the class meets twice a week for two and a half hours. I have to spend 5 hours a week next to someone I wish I never met. I have to be respectful and work with her and bury any feelings of resentment I have towards my ex-girlfriend. This is going to SUCK. Although, this could be a good way to finally move on and not let the incident continue to affect me.

So I am Presbyterian but I'm more Presbyterian light and a spiritualist than a true Christian believer. However I often see people who go "there is only one true God" which I personally find dumb or at least ignorant of other cultures and religions. I mean one of my closest friends has been literally assaulted by proselytizing Christians who found him being a zoroastrain offensive and sacralegeous because he believes in a different God, and not really a hell and lesser spirits.
So why do Christians inparticular find it offensive that other religions exist, especially when people like me question if there's a divine creator or even a messiah, being that I am very science driven and believe in the facts makes it hard for me to believe in what is tenamount to blind faith in what certainly can be nothing.
Also if a LDS and Jehovas witness can explain the knock and proselytize that would be nice, I've gotten so sick of it that I probably have offended them by direct qouting Kingsman and having a Church of Satan pamphlet on hand just to get them to go away.
And I am not a Satan worshipper as I don't believe in Satan.

I think I'm losing my mind, but I swear I watched an anime recently (not sure if it was a series or movie) about a team that goes into an old deserted spaceship and finds a diary that explains what happened. The main part of the story was about some teenagers who were stuck in the spaceship for an unknown reason, and they start to accuse each other of murder while the main characters have some conspiracies going on. I think the guy who wrote the diary was the protagonist and he had a hard time dealing with a girl who was probably a sociopath or something.
Sorry, it's not too clear, but I watched it about a year ago, and it was quite good. I wanted to keep watching it, but I can't remember the name. I tried all kinds of searches on Google, but I found nothing. Is it possible that I'm just dreaming about it ?!
