• The Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Purple Star) (Slot 2) will need between 1 and 3 stage 6s in order to beat the Duality Cup.
  
• I don't know what are the times for the Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Gold Star) (Slot 2), but I will still put some numbers out (Note, they won't be as accurate as the numbers for the other cars):
  
  • You should be able to beat the Cup with either 3 (Nitrous, Body and Transmission) stage 6s (missing all epics) or with 6 (Engine, Turbo, Intake, Nitrous, Tires and Transmission) stage 6s (missing all epics).

I am very confused by this proposed bill, particularly this quote from the article:

State Rep. Sara Innamorato, who has lived in Lawrenceville for 13 years, said she’s seen firsthand how development can lead to financial burdens on existing residents. Since 2000, the median home price in Lawrenceville has gone up about tenfold and the average home price is now around $350,000.

If anything, if Pittsburgh/PPS is appealing all of these purchases, it should be keeping taxes down on the existing residents. The new residents should be footing the bill for those that have been living there forever.

Kassie Meiler endured six hours in an online waiting room to score tickets to one of Taylor Swift’s upcoming concerts. Now, she is gearing up—literally—for the stamina test of the pop star’s 44-song, three-hour show.
Instead of heels, the 27-year-old plans to wear platform Keds, the sneaker brand Ms. Swift once endorsed. Rather than a sparkly fringe jacket similar to what Ms. Swift sports onstage, Ms. Meiler is seeking a cooler option for the April show in Tampa, Fla., that she will attend, perhaps in vest form.
She will swap her usual cocktail or white wine for an electrolyte drink, she said. Mentally, Ms. Meiler is pulling confidence from the 24-hour dance marathons she completed in college: “If I can do that, I can do a Taylor Swift tour.”
Ms. Swift stunned fans opening night on her first tour in five years by performing a 190-minute set that followed two opening acts. Word spread quickly online of the stadium show’s length, prompting nervous strategy brainstorms among fans now rethinking everything from their elaborate outfits to hydration methods.
The Eras Tour, which is scheduled to run 52 stadium dates, is forecast to become the highest-grossing tour of all time, according to concert-data tracker Pollstar. The show is a combination of Ms. Swift’s pandemic pursuits and her efforts to take ownership of her life’s work by rerecording her early music. Packing so much material into one show amounts to an endurance test for Ms. Swift, too. Her 44-song set dwarfs that of other rock stars known for long shows, according to data from Setlist.fm. Prince’s 2004 shows and Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella sets each averaged 32 songs. Bruce Springsteen averaged 29 songs in 1985 and 27 in 2012. Stadium shows are a badge of honor for music’s biggest stars. Only an elite few can fill them, and on this tour Ms. Swift has sold out multiple nights in each city she visits. Her Homeric effort, which includes the 10-minute version of fan-favorite song “All Too Well,” is baffling fans and industry insiders.
“Sure, Springsteen and Prince played these legendary long shows, but they were not singing the entire time. They had bands, and a whole lot of instrumental work that extended out the show,” said Nathan Hubbard, former Ticketmaster chief executive and co-host of the Ringer’s “Every Single Album: Taylor Swift” podcast series.
“Taylor is singing as the center lead for the entirety of the show, and she’s doing it in heels,” he said. A representative for Ms. Swift didn’t respond to a request for comment.
“Three-hour shows. taylorswift is definitely a distance swimmer,” Olympic gold-medalist swimmer Katie Ledecky tweeted Tuesday.
Mr. Hubbard estimated that if Ms. Swift’s movements were tracked as soccer players were during the World Cup, she travels a mile during the show, maybe two.
Former NFL defensive end J.J. Watt lauded Ms. Swift’s rigor in a 2½-minute video posted to Twitter after seeing her Saturday show in Glendale, Ariz.
“She did not stop the whole time—there was no halftime, there was no TV timeouts,” he said. “She crushed it, and she didn’t even look tired. I was tired, and I was just sitting there.”
Daniela Morgan, 40, is doubling up on Las Vegas shows this weekend. On Friday night, she is attending solo with a $760 standing-room-only floor ticket. For Saturday night, Ms. Morgan initially planned to take a friend, but her 10-year-old son, Eli, begged to go instead.
Eli has heard reminders from his dad about the responsibility that comes with taking a $350 ticket to see his mom’s favorite artist, Ms. Morgan said. Still, she is worried about her son needing snacks and bathroom breaks. “Is my kid going to be able to hang three hours?” she said.
Claire Ginther, a 26-year-old from Huntington Beach, Calif., has a shoe dilemma. To see Ms. Swift in Las Vegas this weekend, she had planned an outfit based on the pastel, 1960s aesthetic of Ms. Swift’s “Lover” album. Her new go-go boots arrived this week, but now she is debating switching to sneakers for comfort. With her 5’1” height and $750 floor tickets, she risks not being able to see much, she said.
For advice, she is combing through TikTok, where concertgoers are trading survival tips. “You’d think people are talking about running the L.A. Marathon,” she said. “They’re talking about going to see Taylor Swift.”
Meanwhile, Ms. Ginther wonders about Ms. Swift’s stamina lasting until the tour’s closing shows in Los Angeles in August, for which Ms. Ginther said she paid $100 for a nosebleed seat. “Is she just going to be crawling to the finish line when she gets to L.A.?”
For an April show in Texas, Catherine Frisina, 33, plans to hydrate sparingly with Liquid I.V., a powder that is mixed with water and promises an energy boost. “If Taylor doesn’t need a bathroom break neither do I,” she said.
Andrea Alfano, who fueled up with pizza for back-to-back concerts on the tour’s opening weekend, said making it through the actual show isn’t the hardest part.
“The adrenaline of being there carries you through the show itself,” the 26-year-old daycare teacher said. It was after the show in Glendale—facing an hourslong wait for an Uber—when she realized she was tired and her cowboy-boot-clad feet hurt. “The hardest part is getting out of the stadium.”
When the long set list leaked ahead of the first concert, Ms. Alfano thought it was a joke until she realized—two hours into the show—that Ms. Swift still had several albums of material left to play. “I did pay a lot and put in a lot of effort for those tickets,” she said of the $1,050 she spent to go both nights. “I felt like I got a lot.”

So with the final approaching, I thought I would round out my deep dive series with a look at some of the more recent winners. Just a warning for those reading, this is the longest deep dive yet by quite a bit!

Before I go any further I just wanted to bring up something Lord Sugar said in an interview this year

Since we changed the prize to going into business with me for £250,000, it’s been very successful. Not 100% successful, but I can name at least five winners who are now millionaires.

The 5 millionaires I think he's talking about are Susan, Ricky, Mark, Tom and Leah. They are the top 5 most successful businesses Lord Sugar has invested in through the show. Obviously Susan didn't win but I'm guessing he considers her a winner as he still invested in her.
The thing that jumps out at me about these 5 is that they all came from the early series since the format change. From 2011 to 2014, every investment Lord Sugar made in a candidate has ended up a solid success. Their businesses all have turnovers of millions of pounds (or approaching those figures in Leah's case) with healthy profits. When looking into the winners from 2015 onwards though, things don't look so good.
I just want to caveat before I start that I am not an accountant. This deep dive is based on public filings of company turnoveprofits on Companies House, along with some assumptions I have made based on the balance sheets. One major assumption I have made is about the profit and loss account figures in the accounts. This represents the balance of the reserves of the company, the total of the post-tax profits retained by the company. This balance is entirely distributable, so can be reduced if the company pays the money out to shareholders with dividends, or the balance can be carried over to the next year. If the P&L account shows a net negative balance this means the company is operating at a cumulative loss, and there are no profits that can be distributed to shareholders.
Anyway without further ado, let's begin.
2015: Joseph (Impra Gas)
Some of you may have already seen in the media about Joseph's crash and burn already but his business failed pretty spectacularly. They went into liquidation (essentially the company equivalent of filing for bankruptcy) with debts of almost £2 million which they couldn't pay in March 2020.
He was making losses of almost £100k a year before his split from Lord Sugar in 2017. Lord Sugar allowed him to buy him out for £1 according to a statement that Lord Sugar made to the media. Valente sold the business for £31.5k in January 2020. He didn't get any of this money himself as the money was paid into the liquidation funds when they filed for insolvency, and was mostly consumed by legal/accounting fees. Soon after Impra Gas entered liquidation in March that year, interestingly the company that bought Impra Gas also entered liquidation in October of that year.
The liquidation statements are a long and complex document but they have managed to recover less than 1% of the debts owed (£8,857.02 to be precise). The fees owed to the insolvency practitioner for the liquidation far exceed the assets they have managed to recover!
This is without a doubt the biggest failure of any business Lord Sugar has invested in through the show. Which makes Valente's current grift of delivering courses about how to succeed in business hilariously ironic, but I digress!
2016: Alana (Ridiculously Rich by Alana)

The accounts for 2019 state that the share premium account was transferred to the company's distributable reserves during that year's accounting period in June 2019. The share premium account is basically a reserve account representing the money Lord Sugar paid for his shares. The share premium account funds cannot be distributed to shareholders as dividends, unlike the profit and loss account.
In July 2019 Lord Sugar and Alana had parted ways. Alana paid £125k to buy Lord Sugar out according to Companies House filings.
So the 2020 accounts need a little guesswork here as they no longer report turnoveprofit, but the profit and loss account shows a reduction from £307k to £281k. However there are 2 things that make this figure different to interpret. The first is that it does not take into account any dividends paid by the company, as this takes money out of the reserves and gives it to the shareholders. The second is that Lord Sugar was bought out of the company during the 2020 financial year accounting period. If we take the £125k spent purchasing Lord Sugar out of the business from the 2019 P&L account balance, the company reserves would suggest a post-tax profit of £99k (not including any dividends paid).
The accounts for 2021 give us a better picture of the fact that Alana's business is in good health and making good profits. These accounts show an increase in the profit and loss account from £281k to £494k. From that we can infer that the company made a post-tax profit of at least £213k as their reserves increased by that much. That isn't taking into account any dividends Alana might have taken out of the company.
In 2022 their reserves dipped from £494k to £483k. This may mean a loss of £11k, but could also mean that they paid out a dividend of £11k more than their profits for that year. It's impossible to say for certain without knowing the dividends or profits that year. In any case, the balance sheets of the company still look pretty healthy with profit reserves of almost £500k.
2017: James (Right Time Recruitment)

After 2018 the accounts don't report turnoveprofit anymore. Looking at the balance sheets it appears that he made a loss of about £54k in 2019 and a further loss of £15k in 2020. After that him and Lord Sugar parted ways, with James paying £25k for his shares in December 2020.
Post-split with Lord Sugar, the accounts up to 2021 show the profit and loss account going from a negative balance of £157k to a positive balance of £117k. However this positive balance now includes Lord Sugar's investment money, which was moved from the share premium account to the distributable reserves when he left the company.
So that would cause an increase of reserves in the P&L account of £225k, if we take away the £25k paid to Lord Sugar for his shares. If we factor this into the reserves, they increased from about £68k to £117k. This would mean that his company is finally starting to become profitable after his split with Lord Sugar, giving profits after tax of about £50k, possibly more if he paid out a dividend that year.
2017: Sarah (Sweets in the City)

After starting off strongly, Sarah's business stopped reporting turnoveprofit/dividends in accounts after 2018. From the balance sheet it seems her business started to see some difficulties, as it showed a negative profit and loss account balance. In 2019 the company appears to have made a loss of over £117k, as the profit and loss account went from £14k to -£103k.
In 2020 the company appears to have made a small profit of about £24k as their negative balance decreased from £103k to £79k. In 2021 they again made progress on reducing their negative balance from £79k to £30k, implying a profit of £49k. However, the company is still in a negative overall balance.
In July 2022 Sarah and Lord Sugar parted ways, with Sarah paying Lord Sugar £50k for his shares
2018: Sian (Sian Marie)

After 2019, Sian's business stopped reporting turnoveprofits in their accounts. But from the 2020 accounts their profit and loss account went from a negative balance of £47k to £120k. Which means that they made a further loss of £83k. According to the 2021 accounts the P&L account negative balance went from £120k to £119k, so the company just about broke even with a tiny profit.
Lord Sugar and Sian parted ways in March 2022. There is no document on Companies House about the company purchasing its own shares, unlike Alana/James/Sarah's. From that I think we can assume Lord Sugar simply wrote his investment off/sold the shares for £1 like he did with Valente.
Sian's business unfortunately is another one that ended up going into liquidation this month, with debts of £81k according to company filings.
2019: Carina (Dough Artisan Bakehouse)

Carina's business initially was trading profitably, but the most recent accounts showing sales decreasing and a loss are a bit worrying.
Based on the P&L account balances I estimate they paid a dividend of about £50k in 2021. They would not have paid a dividend in 2022, as the company did not have the profit reserves to pay one.
2022: Harpreet (Oh So Yum)
With Harpreet there hasn't really been enough time for any concrete figures. Her company did file accounts for the year up to June 2022 but that only includes a period of 3 months since she won. There are no turnoveprofit figures in the accounts, but the profit and loss account went from £2k to a negative balance of £1k. This suggests a small loss of £3k was made.
But this may just be due to the business spending money on their expansion plans. Even Susan/Ricky/Leah made losses in their first year of trading before becoming very successful. So it's too early to make any judgement on Harpreet's business yet.
Bonus: Scarlett (Harper Fox Partners)
So Scarlett obviously didn't win in 2019 but Lord Sugar still invested in her, taking a 50% stake in her business. While she hasn't reached the heights of the investments from the first few years of the show since the format change, she has made herself a profitable and decently successful business!

The accounts for Harper Fox Partners don't have a share premium account like the other businesses Lord Sugar invested in. They instead list long term creditors of £250k, which I assume is Lord Sugar's investment. Which makes me wonder whether the investment in Scarlett was structured as a £250k loan for half of the business?
And that concludes my deep dive!
James and Sarah are now trading profitably, so the title of this deep dive is technically incorrect. But they aren't really making very big profits, and they came after bigger losses. Carina was also trading profitably but the most recent accounts show a decrease in sales and a loss for the first time, so the growth of the business doesn't appear to be plain sailing.
It seems none of the investments from 2015 onwards have seen the sort of success of the ones from 2011-2014. Out of the investments since 2015, Alana comes out on top. She is the only one to consistently make profit and her business has the healthiest balance sheet. Interestingly it looks like most of Alana's success came after her split with Lord Sugar, the figures she was pulling in while in the partnership were fairly average.
Buying back Lord Sugar's shares
It seems Lord Sugar sells back his shares at a discount when the winners end the partnership. He sold his half of the business back to Alana for £125k, to James for £25k, and to Sarah for £50k. And for Joseph and Sian it seems he completely wrote his investment off.
But maybe the selling for a discount is just because the businesses simply aren't quite big enough to pay the investment back in full. I certainly doubt Lord Sugar would let Susan have his shares of her company back for £200k, or Ricky to have his shares back for £250k!

I just want to state first. If you own a leopard gecko, plan to get a leopard gecko, want to get one for your kid, want to get into breeding, want to get into proper care, please read what categories you deem fit, for example you probably don't need to know about Enigmas/ES but you should know about tank size, cohabitation, pet stores and more. So please read carefully. I am very passionate about leopard geckos specifically, and although no expert, breeder or vet, I am able to try to help give the best advice I can/deem fit. (As a future want to be leopard gecko/African fat tail breeder)

1. Enigmas/ES. If you do not know what it is, it is a morph for leopard geckos that has a wobble due to neurological condition that is directly tied to a dominant allele needed to produce Enigmas. To quote, "Enigma Syndrome is a neurological disorder that affects the balance and positioning of leopard geckos. Severity of the syndrome varies depending on two things: environmental factors and the gecko’s individual genotype." Basically, I personally believe breeding straight Enigmas for one reason or another, even if it is to try to breed out the ES as some breeders try to do: I believe it is OK to purchase an animal that could be POS/HET Enigma. As it is not the main trait and as long as it has a mainline of other morphs; het/pos Enigma, and isn't showing signs of ES, I wouldn't mind buying it. Not for breeding as you never know if down the line it could turn from het/pos to a high % of pos or 100% het/pos Enigma. Which could show ES later down the line. But I would love to pet one as I do not see a harm in this. Mind me saying this, if the breeder produced straight or trying to go for high or 100% het/pos Enigma on purpose, I would not purchase so I would not be supporting people like that. (I'd suggest googling/youtubing a video about leopard geckos with ES just to see how it can effect them)
   
2. A 20-25 gallon for a "NORMAL" morph of leopard gecko OR any baby leopard geckos is fine, BUT if the morph is Pos/Het giant, super giant, godzilla supergiant, It would be a big nope. Not enough room. Would keep bigger morphs in nothing less then a 35-40g. Would be like keeping 'normal' height humans in 'normal' sized buildings, but instead you're trying to keep anyone past 6'5 in normal sized buildings, lots of head ducking to avoid hitting your head on doorways and all. (I have a Tremper Albino Giant Tangerine and he is happy and healthy in his 40g)
   
3. 120+ gallon is a BIT much of a tank space for leopard geckos. Yes, they will explore at night, during the day, to bask and hunt, but for a non supergiant/godzilla supergiant morph leopard gecko, it may be a bit stressful. If you wanted to split the 120g properly in half for 2 geckos in the same tank BUT separated, I wouldn't see a problem.
   
4. Cohabbing / Cohabitation of any sort: babies, female on female, females with 1 male for breeder purposes. All a big nope. 1. Babies grow up, they are very scared of everything, and even just opening up a tub from the rack can scare a baby enough to drop its tail. It might not be old enough to understand fighting for food, hides, calcium, and other such things BUT they will have a high chance of spooking each other and sooner or later you'll have an accident. Also to be said, female leopard geckos do NOT need to be with each other for ANY reason. Leopard geckos of any size, color, gender and morph are and WILL always be solitary animals. They do NOT need to 'cuddle' get 'depressed' or 'lonely' from not being with other geckos. Example: I you remove 1 gecko from a 2 gecko tank, they won't eat/come out or drink because of depression and lack of 'friendship'. They are not eating/drinking because you've just introduced them from their old home that they are use to, to a unknown territory. Now, why wouldn't multi females be introduced to 1 male in 1 tub while breeding? Because the females will still fight. You will never know what female laid what eggs unless you literally watch her 24/7 near her egg laying date and watch her lay ALL the eggs in her, collect them right away, and know what morph she is + write the DAD/MOM morphs/names on the egg tub. And why would you be dumb for putting two males together? They will fight for water, food, hides, basking, moist hides, and during breeding season it is basically expected they would fight over 'mating' rights. (Goes for both gecko genders, but even if they are not physically fighting, they can intimidate and bully each other. It is sad how many posts I've seen of cohabitation where one is way skinnier and unhealthier then the other)
   
5. You should never be feed outside bugs. Number one reason would be safety of your gecko. Store-bought worms/bugs are sterilized and produced (in mass) in sterile warehouses/homes/buildings & such. Where it is LEAST likely of anything getting cross contaminated, infected, moldy, diseases or parasites. Leopard geckos have a very soft stomach sort of speak, so they are not rough and tough unlike other lizards like Bearded Dragons, where I would say otherwise; they can eat wild spiders, etc.
   
6. You shouldn't support Pet Stores of/by purchasing their animals (mostly reptiles and fish) 1. Normally they are not kept in the best conditions. They are kept in small tanks (even if temporary) with no real 'warm' and 'basking' spots, and no real 'cool' and 'moist' hides. Of my 21 years on earth, I've never seen a pet store (in and out of Canada) have a proper basking spot on one side of the tank (because the tank is like a 5-10-15gallon) and moist on the other. They also usually get their reptiles WAY to young (mostly leopard geckos) where sale should be around the age of 4-6+ months and 16+ grams. Pet stores will basically almost even sell them only at 2 months of age. Plus, they will put water dishes in with these super young leopard geckos which more then triples their possibility of dying, aka drowning. You do NOT need a lot of water as a human to drown, so think how much it would need for a baby leopard gecko to drown. Plus baby leopard geckos are super derpy/not very smart and will stick their heads underwater and breathe, to only then struggle to breathe/drown or get ammonia even. That's just some small reasons why, but also there are a million others. Repti-carpet (from personal experience) will get their teeth (yes, leopard geckos have very tiny teeth) and their nails almost always stuck in it at LEAST once a week. Even for a short period of time. After constant reusing & rewashing the same thing over a period of time, it will start ripping up the fibers & also may solidify and curl on the corners. Which is annoying to try to straight out. (My gecko Yoshi from when I was a teenager would agree as he would dig to try to straighten the wrinkles/flatten the carpet)
   
7. You should 1000% be careful of POINTY fake plants/rocks/plastics/branches and more. Speaking from a personal standpoint, as a teenager I wasn't the best keeper of my leopard gecko Yoshi, who after 4-6 years of having him, I rehomed him. More for personal/parental reasons then anything else. Anyway, my gecko while hunting crickets, was the type to lunge forward, in doing so, he 'hit' the corner of his tank which had a plant in the corner. Hitting his face on a plant. He ended up missing the cricket, had his eye opening/shutting a little but overall I thought he was fine. Weeks later I noticed his eye was getting milky but it never leaked, wasn't crusty, puss like, bleeding, so I thought it was just his age. He was previously owned by a young boy who had to move so was given to grandparents, who couldn't take care of him anymore so surrendered him to the local pet store, which is where I got him. He was a normal het giant from my personal calculations. Either way, over 4 vet appointments later and over the years, nothing was wrong with him besides always being a little underweight, I gave him up. At that point we had just visited the vets and was told nothing was wrong. The woman who we gave him to noticed something, got him checked out, and turns out he had ammonia. Most likely from dunking his head in the water (while hunting) on accident. He got the proper medication and about a year later we had learned the new owner of Yoshi had his eye removed. Turns out that fake plant earlier had poked his eye (out, but not literally) and he had went blind in it. This all being said, my current gecko is much smarter then my last and has had no problems with fake plants. But I'm still always going to check him over and his tank, as he is my and my boyfriend's baby.
   
8. Heat mats are not outdated. (Heat pads/mats for other animals other then reptiles should never be used, as they get to hot) Zoo-med heat mats from personal experience; hardly warm the tank, slip from the side (has you keep them outside of the tank) hardly pierce a 40g tank's glass, etc. If interested, I'll list what heat mat I have if anyone is interested. Pretty sure it was from Amazon and my boyfriend's mother got it for us. It goes under the warm side of the tank, under a hide and my boy loves it, and sleeps there 99.8% of the time. He gets warm from it, but never hot, never burning. And in my belief, leopard geckos need belly heat to help digest better. My boy in the time I've had him, has never had a single problem pooping and or having weird poops. Also most of the time when he is hungry, he is in his warm hide, comes out, eats, and goes back in.
   
9. WAXWORMS ARE ADDICITIVE. They are like crack to leopard geckos and currently am dealing with a waxworm addictive leopard gecko. They are high fat, low nutrition value and are good for plumping up a gecko fast. Beware, you should only give your gecko maybe 1-3 max per time, per 2-4+ months. They taste good to geckos/reptiles and is why my boy is refusing to eat anything but waxworms, it would be like humans eating fatty, butter cooked steak every single day because it tastes good. Lots of fat, but again low nutritional value. ONLY USE AS A TREAT! If you have an addicted gecko/lizard, stop feeding them waxworms right away and don't feed them to your animal until they kick their addiction. Start with hornworms/blue worms, and go from there. If you live outside of Canada, try roaches. You can also put food during feeding days, in your geckos feeding dish and leave it there until your gecko gets hungry or you notice it in hunting mode. You could also try rubbing a waxworms scent onto its other food, to transfer the smell to try to trick your gecko. Also would suggest trying to change your bugs food to something different, like potatos, sweet potatos, carrots, etc; it may change the bug smell and there for make your gecko interested. The very last resort I would do is force feeding, using grub pie (basically mashed up bugs).
   
10. Anything besides live bugs shouldn't be fed to your gecko. And or feeding your gecko pinkies (baby mice) Leopard geckos are exclusively insectivores and should stay on a diet of: roaches, mealworms, crickets, hormworms, superworms, black soldier fly larva/phoenix worms, silkworms, and for treats: butterworms and waxworms. Why feed live? Exercise your gecko via hunting, promote natural hunting and movements, better and higher quality nutrition. Freezer food can get freezer burn and do not provide the gross but tasty bug guts that geckos love to eat and lick off their lips. My gecko can second hand this as he makes them go splat on his paper towel, and licks his lips clean everytime.
    
11. Bathing your gecko during/before its going to shed, shouldn't be that hard, complicated and it is VERY useful. Running a luke warm bathe in your clean (not chemically or soapy) sink with shallow water and WATCHING your gecko for less then 3 mins. It's enough time to keep the water warm, but also let the water sink into the geckos skin/shed. It makes it soft, easy to rip, and a lot less work for the gecko. Also means its less likely that the shed will get stuck. Although always make sure to checkup on your gecko later that day or the day after. I always need to help my boy with his toes, sometimes tip of his tail, double check above his pores as it normally gets stuck there, and also double checking his nose to make sure there is no skin plug.
    
12. UVB lighting is nice, very nice, but isn't 100% needed if you dust your geckos food properly, and leave a dish of calcium without d3 in the tank for the gecko 24/7.
    
13. Bonding with your gecko is needed if you want to be able to see him/her more, have a less chance of spooking your gecko, have a higher chance of your gecko coming out to feed from you, and more of a chance that your gecko will come say hi. I've bonded with my leopard gecko very well and I've only had him since October 2022. I have almost 0 problems with him wanting to come out, explore, give some boops (licks) and such.
    
14. If you're buying "your kids" a leopard gecko, it is not only their responsibility, but your responsibility to check on your kids checking on the gecko, but also YOUR responsibility to check the gecko otherwise. Even if it's a short period of time, grab a coffee, tea, sit down by the tank/ and or take the gecko out, check over the geckos body, make sure its not to fat, to skinny, no stuck shed (the biggest problem with kids is having them miss feedings and there for having underweight geckos, or not noticing or caring to do anything about shedding or stuck shed) PLEASE DO NOT make your pet a Christmas/Birthday or any other Holiday gift. Holiday gifts from what I've seen/heard, get "old" or your kids will get to "old" to take care of the gecko, etc. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when parents "gift" a live animal to them, when it is likely that they will get bored, not care, not want it, and will result in the animal having its needs not met. It's a living animal, it should be apart of your family forever when you do consider one. It should always have a spot in your heart as your pet, and not just your kid's pet. Also, I wouldn't give any kid under the age of 13-14 a leopard gecko. At that point they are a young teenager and are growing up and should understand things better, where a kid might view a small gecko as a play toy. If you know you'll end up taking care of the gecko most of the time, with very little time to, I suggest not to get one.
    
15. Your best option for getting a leopard gecko is to buy from a breeder, even if you want a pet only. I mean specifically leopard gecko breeders. A good website called morph market has many users/breeders with multiple good ratings, responsible shipping, and for a lesser chance of something bad happening, near you. Getting a bred leopard gecko from a responsible breeder will be able to tell you what your gecko's parents are/morph, if they have any kinks (tail kinks, missing toes, etc) have had any diseases and health history in general. They'll know what the gecko eats/what they are fed, any history of any problems dealing with feeding, pooping, movement, and more. I 1 up/vote for breeder leopard geckos all day every day.
    
16. Be ware of leopard gecko gender problems/things that happen. Female leopard geckos can and probably WILL lay eggs. Unless they have been paired with a male, they will NOT be fertile. They are a simple "to much calcium" situation most of the time. You can throw it out just as is with no problems, but make sure to check your gecko to make sure there isn't more then 1-2. And as of females can lay multiple clutches of eggs (1-2) a season, this might happen more then once a year, if even. It is also possible the egg could get stuck inside of her and she may need a warm water soak for 5-10mins, if nothing happens then I would go to vet as an emergency ASAP, otherwise she can die from being egg bound. If you happen to pair your female with a male and or got the gecko from someone who cohabitated the female with another gecko (even if they said both where females) or even ever bred or tried to breed them, make sure to check if the female has eggs. (by looking for big white spots on her underbelly) If the eggs are fertile (you can check by putting a light up to the egg, and if it has a redish pink spot/almost goop spot, that means it is fertile and that their is a baby inside.) Best way to deal with fertile eggs (best to not keep or try to hatch if you do not know history of the parents) then throw the egg in the freezer for an hour or more to harmlessly kill the embryo, then throw it out. With male leopard geckos, they can and will probably get sperm plugs. It is much different then poop and is a yellowish/white, weird 'poop' looking shape that you normally do not have to worry about. Like females, this plug can get stuck in their vent, and if a soak doesn't help/help the gecko get it out, then you'll need to go to the vet ASAP.

This took me a couple hours on and off to get the correct wording and make it as easy as possible for both owners, want to be owners, soon to be owners or someone who just wants to get to know leopard geckos.
