BASIC RULES

1) EACH WEEK, go to the GOOGLE FORM above and submit your single tip. That's one team, that you think will win their game that week. A single team, out of the entire round. Surely that's easy as! If your team wins, WOOHOO! You're through to the next week. If they don't, you're OUT OF THE GAME!* A draw is a loss, as far as this game is concerned. All decisions are final and the result as it stands at the end of any extra time is the result we use. ONE TIP PER PLAYER PER ROUND!
2) THERE WILL BE ONE LIFE available to you until the start of Round 10. That means, you can tip incorrectly once only prior to Round 10 and you won't be eliminated. That gives us all a chance to see what's going on with each of the teams and also allows for users to start late.
3) Once we get to ROUND 16 then it's new rules whereby you cannot tip the same team twice. We will cover that when we get there. Until then, you can tip Melbourne every week if you want to.
4) Whoever is the last man standing wins the /NRL Reddit jersey of your chosen size.
5) If everyone happens to get it wrong on a particular week, then we move on to the next week as if nothing happened.
6) We are tipping State of Origins independently of the round matches.

So I’m a dude, I have a decent 650-700 credit score, rent history at a house that was in my name in College and a reference from that landlord. Job history of 1year at the same place.
My girlfriend has a recent eviction from less than a year ago (long story as to why.. it was before I met her). She doesn’t have great credit. She has 6months job history at the same job.
Our income is more than 3x the rent asked. We would have the deposit ready of course and the fees to apply and get in + months rent.
Is it likely we would be denied? I know she alone would likely be denied many places… but together with my history I think it should be pretty promising right ?

Today I went to school with my TMNT hoodie of Raphael who is my favourite turtle and before tutor I started getting badly bullied with people mockingly singing the cartoon intro from 1987, saying things like 'What the F🦆CK?" Or "That's a sign of a furry" but the thing I was very scared about was someone saying to their pal "Go run up hit them and run away." These people where S6 or S5 I'm in S1!. I was planning on getting breakfast but I decided to go cry in the bathroom instead while I was in the stall I was in my hoodie cuddling my plushie of Monty gator from FNAF security breach sitting on the floor crying while the girls outside the stall said "that's a sign of a furry." To their pals. I was considering not going to tutor and just saying to my tutor teacher through Microsoft teams that I was in the bathroom but I went up instead, I put Raph in my bag and went up to tutor wanting to cry again. At break I went to house support and talked to the person who helps people in my school house but she didn't seem to listen to me too much and went off to go deal with someone in Selkirk (it's like a detention room of sorts). When I went to the library the first thing that made me want to cry is my best friend of 2 years telling me "I would be embarrassed wearing that you'll stand out to much" so I left then the bullying started, I'm currently in English and hungry because I skipped breakfast the only thing I've eaten today was a pizza slice from the dining hall and I want to go home.

I just bought a Navi in Wichita, KS. The final cheapest price after tax was $2592.95, they wanted to add other fees and options which I declined, almost 1K extra. I haven't gotten insurance or tags yet but I believe it'll be about $100 for tags and $100 for a year of insurance. I'll update the tag and insurance price in the near future.

This was my first chance since getting the New Moon to have it out someplace dark. I made this post on CloudyNights that has some more background around the scope, its functionality and optics, and a more brief set of observation notes for those that might be interested.
But this morning I dug up some older observing notes on a few of the objects observed and thought it would be useful here, where I could, to relate some of the differences in DSO observation...not just between scopes with different apertures, but also in different light pollution levels. Both sessions were cut short due to wind and temps but I tried to lay out as much detail as I could remember, though I didn't spend more than 5 minutes looking at any one object, to try to get through a handfull to have as many points of comparison as I could.
Location and Conditions:

• Outside Fall River, KS. Shows as B2 on LP maps, but on Sat 3/18 the lowest value the SQM showed was 21.38 and on Sun 3/19 was 21.45. Light domes visible to NE, E and W up to maybe 20deg in the direction of Wichita
• Transparency very good on 3/18. Good straight above to average closer to the horizon on 3/19. Some field burning was going on in the distance Sunday afternoon
• Seeing marginal on 3/18 and good to very good on 3/19
• Temp in low 20's and falling on 3/18. High 30's with wind picking up at 11p on 3/19
• 16" (400mm) F/4.5 with Paracorr 2...brings effective focal length 2070mm F/5.2

Splitting Sirius A/B:
Not affected by LP. I've been able to split this once in my 10" from home in the suburbs. I noted in that instance that B was "unmistakable." If that view with the 10" was unmistakable, then the view in the 16" at 160x was "plainly obvious" as evidenced by my non-observer wife going "yeah...and." i'm going to assume the smoothness of Lockwood primary plays a large part in controlling any light scatter and makes this an easier observation in the larger scope.
Orion:
From home in B7, no matter what scope I use the nebula looks more or less like this sketch. The 16" from home shows a bit more mottling of the area around the Trapezium and a touch more length in the "wings" coming out of the core area. I can make out a small handful of fainter stars dotted around the core from home in the 16" as well, that are invisible in the other scopes.
From the dark site, I could see more nebulosity in my AT80ED, with no filter, than even the 16" shows from home. This was actually one of the biggest "holy sh!t" moments....25x the light gathering area is rendered moot by light pollution. The 16" from the dark site showed green color in the center of the nebula, to the point at first glance I though I left the OIII filter on the EP. The outer ring was an almost unbroken band. The core area had dozens of stars fainter than the E/F components winking in and out. The "south" facing arm coming out of the core area had a hard ribbon-like edge to it as clean as any AP shot i've taken. With an OIII filter the shape of the "Running Man" was obvious (this is completely invisible to me from B7). I probably could have spent half the night just picking out details I've never seen before. Also with the OIII filter the Flame Nebula is clear and distinct (it's also invisible from B7)
M81/M82:
Star hopping down from a small triangle of stars these show up clearly in the 9x50 finder as a hazy spot. From B7 only the cores of both are apparent with direct vision and the Garland Galaxy is invisible even though I know where it should be. In a 10" from dark skies I've noticed the subtle S-shape start to appear in M81 but it's still more or less a continuous hazy patch. In the 16" it really seemed that the arm of M81 opposite the Garland Galaxy was separate and distinct from the core itself. M82 however showed a more pronounced difference in structure. In the 10" the central notch is clear...but in the 16" it seemed to cut the galaxy in half with two brighter lobes to either side. Those lobes had a mottled appearance, and when the seeing was still almost like they had faint lines etched onto them. The galaxy also stretched farther out from the core than I can recall seeing. This also felt like and object I could have spent a lot more time teasing details out of.
M1:
This is essentially invisible from B7 in any of my scopes. On the clearest of nights I've been able to just make out where it is by tapping the scope. But if I didn't know it was supposed to be there I wouldn't have noticed at all.
In the 80ED from the dark site it's plainly obvious but looks like a galaxy missing its birighter core. In the 10" I've noted the internal structure start to show. By the time I got to it in the 16" it was starting to dip into the light dome to the west...so I feel like some of the finer details were lost. It appeared about the same as I remember in the 10", but with the 16" the outer edge seemed harder and sharper against the background. I noted it had a wrinkled appearance, like a tranluscent Corn Flake. I think if I'd spent more time with averted vision the internal structure could have been more pronounced, but with direct vision I could not say the "threads" stood out hard against the more diffuse parts.
Rosette Nebula:
I can't really make out any of the nebulosity from B7 in any scope. With a filter, on the most transparent of nights, straight above, I might just be able to tell there some "cloudiness" surrounding the central cluster, but only because I already know it's supposed to be there.
This really looks nice in dark skies in the 80ED. With the DGM NPB and 24UFF it nearly fills the FOV. There's a very subtle "waviness" to the nebula and it's obvious how it got it's nickname. In the 16", even with the 31N, the nebula spills past the edges of the FOV and you have to pan over over it to see it all. With the DGM the ripples are a bit more pronounced and the nebula seems to have more "meat" to it. Without the filter, the nebula fades into the background more, but is still obviously there...but the stars show off their colors more. There's a few around the edge that are faintly orange compared to the bright blue/white of the central cluster.
M46/NGC 2438:
I really wanted a good look at NGC 2438 since it's invisible from home. Fromt he dark site in the 80ED at low power it looks like a bloated star. I've seen it in the 10" from a dark site clearly with direct vision but hadn't really put much mag on it. In the 16" at 260x it almost looks like the Ring Nebula. There's a brighter outer rim fading toward the center. There seemed to be a couple of stars inside the ring, one of which was pretty bright, so I'm not sure if the fainter one was the central star that made the nebula, o rif I was just seeing background/foreground stars.
Leo Triplet:
In the 10" I can make out the cores of M65 and M66 from B7 but no detail/shape and The Hamburger is invisible. From darker skies the 10" showed all of them as more pronounced but M65 and M66 still didn't have a ton of structure that I could note. In the 16" from the dark site the shapes of M65 and M66 stood out as distinctly different. M66 has a distinctly "swooped" shape and M65 a more uniform elliptical shape. I think I caught the dust lane in M65 cutting across the core. The dust lane on the Hamburger is very clear and distinct.
Other random notes from the dark site...
Double Cluster:
I made a note that in the 16" from the dark site that the two stars between the main clusters were strikingly red/orange. Moreso that I can remember seeing in any other scope, and I'm not sure if it was all a fuction of the optics and aperture or if the reduced LP played any role as well.
Needle Galaxy:
In 16" the central buldge was very obvious and the dust lane cutting sharply through it. It stretched across as much of the field of the 8Ethos as I could comfortably see.
M64:
Was barely out of the light dome to the east, but the Black Eye of the core was clearly obvious.
Monkey Head Nebula:
I'd never tried for this object before. Was very clearly outlined in 16" with 31N and DGM NPB.

Checked off a few more Messier objects I hadn't scratched off the list. I have about 10 more to go that I should be able to get later in the year that don't require being up all night.

LAST MAN STANDING 13 continues eliminating users in a cheefully speedy way. 768 users have started our journey, but most have fallen foul, with a mere 190 users alive into round 4.
The North Queensland side saw the most casualties, followed closely by the punishment game's Cronulla Sutherland. The Storm also had some say in users demise.
While the 190 users move merrily into Round 4 there's the high IQ subset of both-lives-still users, of which there are only 34 - that is 4.4% of all users that could tip three rounds correctly in LMS. Gee, it's not as simple as it looks, is it.
