2023.03.19 13:11 MidnightHuoyan Build Issues - Guns not gunning
I got some issues with my Spellshot-Graveborn build running Chaos Chambers. But in order to explain what's happening, I need to give a little bit of context.
I got up to C25 just fine running an old build, but the repetitiveness of the whole thing made me leave the game for a number of months. I come back to it around 8 months later to see what's new with the DLC content and get slapped with a chamber level cap of 100. With this in mind, I knew I just wanted to get into the very late endgame, so I admittedly ran some mods so that I could scale the levels as fast as I could. My mindset behind this was that as soon as I get to C100 or somewhere close, I could then dive in and farm the latest gear and weapons without the nuisance of repeating the same thing over 60 times.
Now I get to C55, I decide to take the mods off and run it normally just to see how difficult it really is, and OH MY GOD nothing about my build or the guns work even slightly. The build focuses on maximizing crit, spell damage/spellweaving stacks, dark lich companions spawning at enemy kill locations and creating damage, aswell as huge dark magic damage numbers to cover myself and the companions. I also notice that there isn't much of a difference in stats between what I'm picking up at C50+ and my current gear. Yet none of my guns, spells or dark magic abilities do any damage.
An extra screwed up thing is I decided to bring the level down to C20 and my setup still doesn't work as well as it should. Even though it was working just fine at C25.
So the question here is... Should I continue with the mods to scale up to the end and then start searching for gear, or do I scale up steadily and farm gear from C20 onwards?

2023.03.07 00:36 connoraf Build help/recommendations
Hiya,
I bought this game cause it was on sale and am really enjoying the wackiness with my friends. I want to 100% achievement this game so would like some pointers on what build to accommodate deadhshot? (I picked spellshot not cause its op just cause I like mages and only realised later I could min/max) I've seen guides on what skills/hero points to add to but was wondering if updates nerfed/made it less viable?
Also since I am playing with friends I was wondering if there is a build for my friend as he started with graveborn and I don't want him to feel like I am taking away from his gimmick, and want him to feel powerful in his own way (I doubt he would be into the idea of double deadshot just cause he likes to have his own thing)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

2023.02.20 18:20 _p0o_ SporeBorn or GraveWarden build help
I have no idea the proper name, but looking for a recent "pet" build with these 2 classes (spore warden & graveborn). Everything i see is like 9-10 months old, wasn't sure if still legit or if patches have modified them. Does anyone have a solid link or advice? Thanks in advance

2023.02.06 23:45 Old-Novel-6481 Question Regarding Lord of Edges Graveborn Ability
I have a BlightcalleGraveborn I was playing around with and I was wondering if the abilities/gear actually work together. The whole build is really weird, relying on the the Blightcaller's Restore the Veil and Wraithmail abilities to keep the ward up so I can repeatedly use the Full Battery's damage buff, and because I'm just restoring ward all the time, I'm using the Deathless Mantle armor which reserves all but 1 hp and gives me more ward. So my question is, does the reserved hp from the Deathless Mantle activate the Graveborn's Lord of Edges ability which increases damage and damage reduction when your hp is lower? Does the reserved hp count as having low hp or does the 1 hp I have remaining counts as 100% of the hp I can have and therefore my hp is considered full?

2023.02.05 12:01 Phattwoohie Good secondary class for Spellshot that's going Pixie build?
I was debating between Graveborn and Spore Warden for the pixie build. Graveborn seems to have a lot of survivability but Spore seems to have a lot of extra companion damage in the talent tree. Or is there another class that will pair well for the pixie build? It will be with a really good frost pixie gun, if that matters

2023.02.04 18:12 Fabioo_ Hey there , I am at chapter 35 , bosses are 4 formations and my formations are not that good so i need some advice , those are my main formations the graveborn one and lucretia's one... also if you can give my piece of advice about what which hero i have to build next
2023.02.04 03:05 Mr_Buzzell I'm stuck as chaos 15.
I'm using a Spellshot and Gravborn build with a ruby's spite, my rings both have weapon damage and dark magic bonus', my class mod boosts my spell weaving stacks and gun damage, and my amulet has dark magic efficiency, damage, and Graveborn power, yet I still can't make it past my current chaos chamber. All this still isn't enough.
What do I do?
Also, at one point I was able to get 14 stacks of spell weaving instead of 11 (with 2/1 in high thread count), why is that?

2023.02.03 05:40 Phattwoohie Question about Action Skill enchants and Spellshot
I think I've been using the wrong enchants this whole time for my spellshot/graveborn build. I'm using 2 spells instead of the polymorph. I read some talk on an old post that said action skill enchants don't do anything in that instance. My question is if that's true? Also, if that is the case, then having things like increases the time of my action skill by X amount on gear, is also worthless to me? I just want to know for sure, before I start trying to reroll my gear to "on spell cast" enchants.
Lastly, if anyone has time to answer another question, I'd appreciate it. For the pixie builds, is there any gear that drops from the DLC content that would help? I currently just am playing the base game, but I'll buy the season pass if there is relevant gear that I'm missing out on.

2023.01.29 11:02 Obsidianqqtt Beginner Player Guide. v1.107 (WL, Priorities, Management) ft. Seas0n
| Hello, dear AFK players! Long time no hear but I think it's finally time to answer the unanswered questions that all of the new players might be having regarding early game and how to handle it. You could gladly use Ctrl + F to navigate through the sections in the guide, as this tends to be a very long one. Legend : 3f - 3 red furnitures ; 9f - 9 red furnitures 10, 20, 30 SI - level 10, 20, 30 signature item e30, e60 - engraving level 30, 60. TR - Temporal Rift TS - Treasure Scramble CR - Cursed Realm In this guide I'll discuss some points like : 1.) What is early game? 2.) How should your wishlist look like? 3.) Who should you prioritise? 4.) Resource management. (What and when to pick). 5.) "Shemira Ascension Trick" - term ascribed to Seas0n 6.) Socializing 7.) "Forest Mania & Shadow Invasions" 1.) Beginning from scratch, let's try to explain what early game is. Early game is a state of the game where you build your roster accordingly for mid-late game content, which means mistakes made here may be crucial for your further progression (but that isn't really the case as every mistake in AFK could turn out to be something that is good in the near future). Campaign-wise, after many debates, early game is set off to be at a stamp between Ch.1-Ch.28/29 (where multifights start to occur). 1).What is the idea of early game? A) The idea is to get at least 1 proper carry from each faction, so that you could efficiently push towers early on (towers grant many resources such as - dust, rare fodder cards, purple stones, emblems for SI upgrade, EXP, and most importantly - starting from floor 125 - SG cards). Not only that, but also prepare your roster step by step for other game modes like Treasure Scramble, Twisted Realm, Cursed Realm, Temporal Rift, etc. With the development of AFK, campaign progression hasn't been the most important thing as of late, therefore players tend to push only up until a chapter that allows them to get the most benefit out of the monthly event - misty valley - and which maximizes idle rewards. Beware that campaign meta is strongly revolving around 5 main comps (primarily and most of the times) and is different from other game modes' meta teams. For example, 5 meta teams in campaign wouldn't do nearly as good as in Temporal Rift. B) Investments are really key. Invest wisely and don't overinvest in heroes that aren't beneficial for your progression. Sadly there isn't any regress option in AFK beside level regress up until present moment. All in all, the idea is to get better ranking in events which net you time emblems and stargazer cards. This will help you boost your progression rate. (especially awakened heroes) All in all, the idea is to get better % in events which net you time emblems and stargazer cards, which will help you boost your progression with a huge boost. (especially awakened heroes). 2). How should your wishlist look like? The primarily asked question is - how should my wishlist look like, who should I prioritize early on? Based on many tests/ new accounts/ personal experience, I will share my personal thoughts on how the best looking beginner wishlist should look like: Lightbearers : Rowan is a support who fills your team with energy. Unlocking his exclusive item allows the hero with most energy to gain extra energy (at SI 30 - 400 points) which results almost instant ultimate cast. First prio for SI 30 in LB faction - offers huge diversity. Required investment - 300 -> 303 (9f not needed) Rosaline is a support, who follows the hero you choose. Her ultimate fills the ultimate bar of the hero she follows to 1000, allowing him to cast his ult. Any excess energy is returned back to Rosaline. Required investment - 203 (for new players). Palmer is a support hero specialized in buffing your team + healing. He increases crit amplification, resulting in more damage when landing a crit. Good for bosses. Required investment - 203 (for new players) - > 209e30->e60. Scarlet is the main DPS of the LB faction. She excels in dealing high amounts of damage + CC-ing the enemy targets, locking them and rooting them in one place. Rooted targets are unable to move + cast skills(?). Wrizz/Soren queen for new players, merc when possible. 2nd priority for development in LB faction. According to global server data, Scarlet is the 1st hero with 30SI priority. Required investment - 309e60 (works fairly well for new players with 303e30). Raine is a support type buffer hero. She works fine at M 10SI. She buffs the ally with the highest ATK rating and is meta for all boss modes. Required investment - 103 A. Maulers : Skreg is a fundamental part of the maulers. His 9f is unique - allowing for better energy regeneration when in the enemy side of the battlefield. With current meta, that enables many heroes - ABrutus, Eorin, Athalia, Lucretia, Zolrath etc. Required investment - 209. Kren is a DPS hero who is also one of the main damage dealers in the Mauler faction. He is mandatory for CR (every round until you get ABaden). He is used in tower as a main DPS, late-game campagin etc. Required investment - 203 -> 309e30. Antandra is a sub-dps (also support-ish) hero in the mauler faction. She is best known for the ability to cheese and survive. Handles mauler tower very well. Sadly not used anywhere else besides Grand Hunt (TR) and as a sub in some CR rounds. Required investment - beginner players 203 -> 309e30. Anasta is the new mauler queen. She deals high amounts of damage, has excellent survivability and is also able to somewhat cheese. A great addition, used in almost every game mode - scramble, TR, CR, tower etc. According to the new meta, I'd go Anasta over every other mauler hero. For beginners 303 -> 309e60 (late game). Skriath is a support/mage type of hero. His 3f is really niche and unique. It allows Eironn to be able to pull all 5 enemies (5 pull comp), which is really used in campaign later on. Required investment - 203 > 303 -> 309e30. Wilders : Pippa, Mishka, Raku, Nevanthi, Eorin 1x copy of Lyca -> 1x copy of Eironn - 1x copy of Lorsan. EXPLANATION!!! - 1x copy of Lyca - grants haste to your team ; 1x copy of Eironn - the pull is sometimes huge in early campaign, where main struggles are - Isabella, Saveas (and are mainly backline) - Eironn's pull allows you to bring them in the FoV of your heroes and results an easy kill (beware that Eironn would struggle to pull them without enough haste early on - interruption issues). ; 1x copy of Lorsan for Lorsan link - further increasing the damage output. ( rely on getting Lorsan copy from purple stones.) Eorin is something huge that most people would neglect - he is a hero prioritizng backrow enemies with hight ATK rating - that being Isabella, Saveas, Arden in the opposite team. He could easily deal with them and Eorin works with little investment (M SI10 for beginners -> SI20). Sadly he requires to be leveled up to the highest you could possibly can and if you don't have enough copies, he will eventually fall off. Pippa is a support type hero. Her kit is very unique. Most important is her SI. SI20 allows her teleport to grant the teleported ally immunity. That is used within Thoran cheese comps and allows Thoran to survive more. Required investment - Mythic 20 SI, than take off of WL -> put Astar on. Hands down one of the best characters in the game. She is an offensive tank and scales excellent in early game - could potentially be used as a sub carry if focused as such. She is utilized everywhere in the game. Required investment - 203 (for beginners) -> 209 -> 309e60 (e60 is really key as the shield she gets is granted to the whole team). Raku is one of the main DPS heroes form the wilder faction. He excels in dealing burst damage against CC-ed targets and is able to multi-hit. He deals a ton of damage with his signature ability unlocked and has the ability to deal damage, based off the enemy's % HP (which, as everybody who has been playing AFK for a long time knows, is meta). Required invesmtent - 303 - 303e30->303e60 (some people speak against 9f as he gets his main DPS from his normal attacks but the extra stats he gets from his 9f are a huge boost and in most cases needed. Many stages rely on Raku being the highest in CR to get the barricade buff, which without 9f and engravings, is hard to be achieved IF paired with another carry who is maxed out.) Eorin is a carry DPS from the wilders faction. I've explained above why he is so important. Works with lower investment as low as 20 SI. Nevanthi is a support hero. She utilizes in healing and granting shield that neglects incoming damage. She also has the ability to buff summoned entities (level 61) - synergy with Grez, ABaden. Required investment - 203 (for beginners) -> 203e30 -> 303e30 -> 309e60. Graveborn - Grezhul, Silas, Ferael, Oden, Daimon - 1x copy of Thoran. Grezhul is an offensive Tank hero from the Graveborn faction. He has the ability to steal part of enemy's ATK%. Not really usable in early game as the deficits are low and the scaling if his ATK steal isn't big. Later on he is used in every part of the game - the bigger the deficit gets, the better and stronger Grez becomes. Required investment - 209e30 - > 309e60. Sadly he doesn't really offer anything without 9f. (Also needs Alna to survive). Overall a solid hero but very expensive as well. Daimon is the first hero you should prioritize when starting a new account. Period. He is a very versatile offensive tank, who steals stats from enemies and then deals damage calculated upon the stolen stats. Required investment - 203 -> 303e30 (for late game + tower progression and CR). According to global server data, Daimon's SI is ranked #2 but SI30 isn't really that important. Ferael is a support hero who can cause mini-stuns that interruprt enemies. Really useful hero, especially early on, he needs to only land his terrors, which remain after his death. Required investment - 203 -> 209e30. Oden is a sub-dps + support hero. He is very unique in the sense that he can steal the energy from the enemy with the highest amounts of it. Any excess energy is then added to Oden's energy bar. He is used in almost every game mode - CR, TR, Tower, TS, etc. Highly recommend to go for Oden after Daimon. Required investment - 303 -> 309e30 -> 309e60. Silas is a support hero. He heals the whole team + injects the ally with the lowest current health, granting them % stats and immunity for a short period of time. He has great value and is used almost everywhere in the game. Required investment - 303 -> 309e30. 3.) Who should I be focusing early on? Most easiest answer is - go all in for Daimon. And yes, that would be most optimal if you want to progress further in campaign with less downtime. This would eventually allow you to get in more summons + more fodder / hero copies. Try getting Daimon to Mythic and leveling his SI to level 20 in order to progress further. +30 Daimon is a very "speed play" and unlikely to be optimal in the "long run". **Getting Daimon to 20e30 is key as it will get you to at least ch.29 with transition to Lucretia.**Granted there is a voyage that has given you have you stargazer cards - spend them on : 1x copy of Twins > rush Lucretia to M 20/30 >1x copy of Mortas > Lucretia A1 > rush Alna. Don't take 1x copy of Mehira unless you have Rowan SI30. SG pathing hasn't really changed as Lucretia and Alna are still irreplacable. In order of 4-faction ascension priority - Daimon to M (SI20) or carry to M -> A -> sub DPS (Oden, Mishka, Astar etc.) -> support. Always get your carry 20 above rest. IF you get an awakened hero (new players have increased rates) - use them! If it's ABrutus/ABaden you could possibly use them further on. IF ASolise - she could be used earlier on but sadly falls of due to her being slow and not being able to even ult. 4). Resource management. You'd want to hold off with your resources and hold as much as you can. Granted that the further you progress in campaign, gets you more resources/hour + you get more VIP the further you progress which adds up more % to the hourly resources (dust, gold, exp). Cap for dust is Ch.29. "Chest TITRATION": - term ascribed to Seas0nOnly use Dust chests if stuck, you don't want to go all in, use wisely and dependant on how much you need. For early game - Dust > EXP > Gold in terms of hero leveling. Resources - Red chests > PoE > Juice > cores (red>orange). Diamonds are meant to be spent on hero summons / shop refreshes to get the most out of it. Later on - > 1x time emblems per day." Shadow invasions & Pippa adventures" - focus on both events to net yourself summon scrolls early on! Peaks of time - peaks of time is a dust machine. Basically, you pass an adventure and net yourself a good amount of dust without needing to spend your chests. Dura's call - make sure to rush Dura's call to max level early on from events. - mandatory for campaign progression. 5.) "Shemira Ascension Trick" - term ascribed to Seas0n Early on you get 4 copies of Shemira - one from 7-day bonus and 1 from Pippa's adventures (3-match puzzle game in Peaks of Time). Once you get the 4 copies, you could easily get her to L+ - you get dropplets for your tree + a fodder to further upgade Daimon to M. - > which further helps with shadow invasions game mode. 6.) Socializing - is a main part of the game! We strongly encourage all players to join guilds / get mercs weekly in order to complete their daily needs.AFK has been throwing up many "group/guild events" recently, so having a good guild is always a good idea. Another part is the "Apprenticeship/Mentorship" program that AFK is offering. Try to find an active mentor who gives you the weekly quest - "Complete Labyrinth 2 times" - this nets you 8k lab coins weekly and helps you towards buying your first dim! Also be sure to join the official discord server of AFK Arena. 7.) Arena of Heroes Always attack in AoH - make sure to attack people with lower TCP than yours and stay in top positions. Betting in Legends Championship is something you could also consider useful and is easier in the beginning. Earlier rounds are more "one-sided". We sincerely hope that this guide will help many new players + returninig players out there to correctly navigate and correctly distribute their resources in order to achieve what's optimal and good for their progression. 2023.01.28 18:55 MarvinLazer Recommendations for a gun-focused Stabbomancer/Clawbringer build?
Howdy folks! My wife and I have been enjoying the hell out of this game and have just made it to Chaos 30. I've been running a Spellshot/Graveborn with dual Laserhands that I'm loving (even though I still can't for the life of me seem to find the double knot Smart Armor that I know will make the build truly amazing). She's enjoying herself, but her build is starting to feel super underpowered. Her base class is Stabbo, and she loves her Wyvern companion so I think her Clawbringer secondary class is here to stay. She also loves the variety of guns and likes to mix things up with the weapons she uses.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a Stabbo/CB build that would allow her to get away with mostly using whatever gun she wants? Or maybe a build strategy we could use to design our own?
Thanks in advance!

2023.01.27 21:02 EmperorChaos9719 Some suggestions to continue advancing in the game? F2P
| I've been playing the game for a little over 2 years now and would like some advice on what heroes to build, SI, Furn, tree and engravings, etc. To guide you a little more I will leave you a summary in each game mode. Note: I have never spent any money on the game and I don't plan to either, I am 100% f2p. Currently I don't focus: -- Arena of heroes: I currently stay between ranks 7 - 2 (first place is impossible, although I only finished rank 1 once). Due to the above I don't worry about the formation (Current: Arthur, Albedo, Ainz, Merlin, JoA). -- Legend Challenger Tournament: Range between 40 - 28. Use for all three teams: Ainz (same as AoH), Skreg Cycle, and Alna GB (with grezhul). I do not focus on this because obviously I will not reach the top of the ranking. -- King's Tower: Normal - 611, LB - 421, Mauler - 433, Graveborn - 401, Wilder - 402, Celestial 297, Hypo - 281. I don't play this mode much and the biggest shortcoming is that I don't have a carry in the celestial tower. I currently focus: -- TCR: Previously my range in TR was legend and in CR the range was legend between 50 - 80%. With the arrival of the awakened heroes now in TR my range varies between legend and diamond 1 (depends on the boss), in CR my range dropped between 80% - Diamond 1. This made me lose motivation and interest since as fp2 build the awakened heroes is very hard and by the time I build the second A-hero another 5 will have been released. However, I still think I could focus on these modes until the awakened heroes take over every boss and I decide not to continue. I would like to focus on: -- Campaign: I'm currently at 39-24 and feel like I could be higher. Although I do not focus on this, perhaps it is time to push a little. Maybe recommendations for 5 teams. -- TS: Lately this game mode has been calling my attention. Like TCR my range dropped a bit due to the awakened heroes. However I think I could keep a range between 3-10%, but would need some additional advice on builds and equipment. -- Temporal Rift: I don't like this mode at all (although the rewards are pretty good), it's very tedious and after floor 300 I get bored and don't keep pushing. However, when I can no longer get good ranges in modes like TCR and TS (predominance of AHeros) I will have to migrate to temporal rift and campaign, so some advice here would be useful. Regarding priority in celepogeans heroes: Haelus A/1* (Current mythic), Zolrath A from shop (Current mythic plus). For A-heros: the next focus is on Brutus (I accept suggestions). And that would be the summary, I will be attentive to your advice on constructions, priorities, SI, Tree, etc. Thanks! :) Note 2: Yes, I know that it is impossible to compete against the whales and be able to reach the highest ranks, and no, I am not trying to compete against them. However, I think I can currently maintain a decent rank for better rewards. submitted by EmperorChaos9719 to afkarena [link] [comments] |
2023.01.24 03:20 TheFir3H4wk John Constantine Build
Earlier I saw a few DC related things including stuff about John Constantine and I was wondering if it would be possible to make a build in Wonderlands that does what he does. I'd assume it would be using 2 spells and also utilize Dark Magic and Fire a lot, but does anyone know how a setup like this could work? Maybe with spells inducing heavy DOTs with Blightcaller a lot of the time or just raw Dark Magic Damage with a sort of Graveborn Spellshot mix? I'm not the best build maker so I was wondering if anyone could help try to figure out a build like this, I'd just like some sort of Spellcaster that can use a lot of different spells efficiently just like he does!

2023.01.13 07:33 Massive-Dealer-456 Dynamic Duo
Hey guys, Dealer here again. And im here for yet another post.
Im going to be talking about the "Dynamic Duo" Based on my experience. I've been thinking about this for some time and this gave me a idea.
I had posted this before, but i ended up deleting this post minutes after, i didn't liked at what i wrote in some parts and ended up rewriting this post.
Im going to be talking about "Duo"s based on the crossover, for example:
AFK x Overlord and AFK x Witcher. I took a inspiration from this, since gacha games does this.
Before i start, I don't know every single Duo to ever exist in AFK Arena or even remember them, while some are Duo's are ones that i came up with. I also do not have the "Experience" of certain Duo's
But without any further, im going to start writing this abomination of a text, No i mean it... Read at your own risk...:
Lightbearers
Gwyneth x Lorsan
Ah yes, the Gwyneth comp. Any seasoned players know where this is going.
Have Gwyneth and Lorsan in formation, linking a frontline hero. While we pair it with Arthur and Estrilda/Hendrick on the frontlines, with a Lyca. And have yourself a 5 - Man Wombo Combo. This is a well known comp back then.
But isn't this supossed to be a duo, and not a full comp? Yes. And il try not to spoil it again.
Fawkes x Tasi
A Duo that has been lost in time. Since both of these heroes target's the same hero with the highest atk, having Fawkes with high Haste or e30 to confine a hero, While tasi follows up with a Banish on another hero.
This essentialy turns into a 5v3 for a short period of time, assuming if both enemies don't dodge the Coffin and resist the Banish.
Scarlet x Rosaline
We all saw this coming. Scarlet with the insane damage output, while pairing it with Rosaline giving her full energy and a ludacrist amount of Dophamine.
Although this might not last due to the addition of Palmer.
Raine x Belinda
Now that Awakened Belinda has been announced, its a good time to know how this combo was utilized.
Raine uses her ultimate first, and then Belinda afterwards. If she gets a kill, her energy will be filled up, allowing her to use her ultimate again. Truly one of the best combos back then.
AThane x Eorin (PVP) (Not Tested)
AThane is the first-class of this Duo, while Eorin is the Wallmart version of AThane.
As stated above, i have never tested this since i don't have a maxed Eorin. You can have one burst hero in one team, but why not two of them?.
Both AThane and Eorin would be a great Duo in PVP.
Morrow x Mezoth (Meme)
I wouldn't necessarly call this a Meme but, if you've never heard of this, you have a pure soul.
How this works is to have a Morrow with a Signature level of 30, and a fully built Mezoth.
This makes it so that allies don't target a charmed enemy from Morrow's Demonic Murmurs Skill, while Mezoth uses his ultimate to inprison another enemy.
It feels like more like a Mini Charmizard but i do not have much knowledge of this Duo, it might not be recommended to upgrade Morrow's Signature to 30, Solely for this Duo. Unless you know how to use it.
This Duo used to be called "Mezoth Cheese" for whatever the reason. This is a Reference from one of Volkin's Videos.
Peggy x Baden (Not Tested)
The idea is to have a Army, a Army equivalent of 300 Spartans. You could say something like the FPS Killer which is theoretically true. I think there are better Summoners like OG Baden as stated but needs high investment to survive.
Oscar x Nara (Meme)
This Duo is something else...
Nara hooks a enemy hero and oscar kicks it back to the enemy line. This will happen repeatedly back and forth, giving us some good laughs while it lasted.
Raine x Walker (Meme)
Ok, im going to say this straight away.
THIS IS NOT A REAL DUO.
One of the recents Voyage Of Wonders was both Raine and Walker going on a Adventurer, and since both of these heroes have the same line, this gave me a idea.
Raine uses her ultimate first and then Walker becomes the DoomSlayer. Hope for the best that Walker gets a kill, just so that he can continue on his DoomSlaying Crusade.
Estrilda x Athalia (Bruh)
Athalia dives a frontline hero, then Estrilda uses her Ridicule on the dived enemy, following up to a knockback, then Athalia uses her Purging Frenzy to knock it back even more.
This is essentially a Double Knockback or Triple.... This is so dumb...
Maulers
Drez x Cecilia (Boss)
This is a Duo often used in boss comps in AE. Cecilia foes first and lower the boss attack, and when drez ults, it does huge damage while lowering it's defense.
Very good Duo.
Skriath x Eironn
Ah yes, the iconic Five-Pull.
No one it's going to forget this Duo and i mean never.
It has been utilized countless times, from OG Five-Pull, Safiya Five-Pull, Gwyn Five-Pull, Lucretia Five-Pull, QUEEN Five-Pull, and etc.
Skriath x Khasos (Bruh)
Much like Five-Pull, instead you don't Five-Pull.
You will use Khasos who will throw his axes to hit five enemies at once. I would suggest not to build Khasos Solely for this . Mauler tower by the way.
Skriath x Numisu (Bro can you STOP?) (Boss)
This Duo was utilized to deal 300M damage at the final boss on AE for the past two Seasons.
You need Skriath to be at 9f for this to work.
Although this is now long gone.
Skriath x Fane (I SWEAR, ILL STOP THIS TIME) (Not Tested)
I heard there is a reddit post mentioning how good Fane is if he's 30 si, 18f, and e61 (Bottom row furniture maxed) and (Haste node) and a high leveled support tree like 62 or 77. Although i don't think he needs Skriath for this.
The idea of this, is to have Fane knockback the enemies to their allied side constantly, while Skriath with the Sandstorm ability at 9f will help him keep enemies on their allied side.
I don't think i have much to say but it sounds good.
Thali x Satrana (Not Tested)
Both of these Heroes have fire bending Powers.
Have Satrana dealing fire damage in the Frontlines, While having Thali snipe the enemies with fire.
The Fire Nation Duo.
Vurk x Kelthur (Bruh)
The idea of this Duo is for Kelthur to immediately bait a enemy hero in the Frontline to swap his position, and the swapped enemy instantly sets of a poison trap.
Thats it... Thats litteraly it....
Kren x Warek (Kinda wack ngl)
Warek needs Dura's Call for this to work.
As the battle starts, Warek will use his Backbone ability to throw a enemy into the allied side, then Kren follows up with his Concussive Blast skill to knockback the same enemy, giving him a safe distance from the battlefield.
This is used in some Mauler tower stages.
Granit x Lucretia
Lucretia Cheese... thats it...
Granit needs 30 si for this to work.
Skreg x (Insert litteraly any invader hero)
Skreg with his 9f passive, will give a huge energy regen if any allies are on the enemy side.
Tidus x Satrana (Im not experienced wirh this) (PVP... kinda)
Both heroes goes to the enemy line dealing both Physical and Magic damage.
Following up with Skreg, giving both energy regen, while Tidus goes on a Rampage on a hero with the least amount of health.
Antandra x Grezhul (Boss)
Used in some Twisted realm stages.
Sometimes used in CR... or maybe not... at least it used to.
ABrutus x Anasta (im not experienced with this)
Used in certain gamemodes.. mostly PVP..
This Duo was also used in the Final Boss in AE.
Brutus x Daimon
A Duo that often sees use, mainly in Campaign.
Brutus pop his immunity to buy time for Daimon, while Daimon ults to steal enemy stats.
Anoki x (Litteraly any hero)
Anoki's main use, most of the time (atleast for me) used to nullify Thorans initial Curse ability, assuming if the Shield absorbs it.
Safiya x Eironn
Used in Five-Pull (atleast it used to) for the Obelisk skill.
Wilders
Lyca x Arden
When there weren't many good heroes, this Duo was somewhat utilized.
The idea is to give Arden the Haste buff from Lyca, to consistently root enemies.
Man... Arden is such a GOAT of a hero and he still is... I guess...
Astar x ATalene (Im not experienced with this)
Astar already does a crap ton of damage, despite being a support.
While ATalene helps dealing damage and supporting her allies.
As stated above, im rather clueless.
Solise x ABelinda (Excuse me?) (Not Tested)
This duo... Makes no sense...
I wasn't kidding when i said Duo"s that i came up with.
Anyways Both heroes gets their abilities buffed when they ult. That's the only reason why i added this.
Raku x LDV (Leonardo Da Vinci)
LDV initiates with cannons, dealing dmg to 5 enemies while knocking them back when in middle backline.
Raku follows up with Normal Attacks.
While LDV uses his ultimate.
Heavily used in Campaign stages.
Pippa x Oden (Im not experienced with this)
Portal Party all the way.
Tasi x Pippa
Grant's Pippa a guaranteed Slumber when she ults.
Nemora x Khazard
Sometimes used in a Charmizard comp.
Nemora needs 9f.
Eironn x Zolrath (PVP)
The old days of burst comp.
Eironn pulls 3 enemies while in the frontline, and Zolrath follows up with Doppelganger Skill.
Eironn x Gwyneth (PVP)
Same thing as above. Hitting 4 enemies. 5 with Lorsan.
Saurus x Haleus
Saurus's stacks tends to get removed with cc.
Haleus granting him a shield gives Saurus immune to cc. (Assuming if the shield doesn't break).
Asolise x Nevanthi
Asolise already has insane healing.
Pairing her with Nevanthi has the ability to buff summoner heroes and the ability to nullify anti-heal.
Speaking of Nevanthi
Nevanthi x (Litteraly any healer that's bad at healing)
If the healer dosen't do well, remember that theres Nevanthi...
Graveborn
Ferael x Joker
Ferael uses his Fear ability and Joker follows up with All-Out Attack.
Grezhul x Oden
Grezhul is already out of his way Stealing enemy atk, while Oden builds up Stacks amount of Haste buff, Especially if he's e60, and Grezhul granting him debuff duration with his e60 as well.
Silas x Izold
Izold Chesse. Send both of these heroes in the Battlefield, pray that Izold doesn't die in the first five seconds, and Silas granting him Heroin.
You're going to get guaranteed results (hopefully).
Thoran x Kelthur
Thoran Cheese. This doesn't need a description.
Torne x Morael (CR)
A CR exclusive Duo.
Both Morael and Torne uses their ultimate, and watch Torne's damage Skyrocket.
Theowyn x Flora (PVP)
Used to be utilized in Stall comps, maybe its still used.
ABaden x Nevanthi (Im not experienced with this)
Despite me having both Ascended.
I don't have much experience using this.
Maybe its because my Nevanthi its not e60.
And speaking of ABaden.
ABaden x AThane (Dynamic Duo)
How could i forget this?.
Grezhul x Alna
Of course this has to be here.
Alna help's keeping Grezhul alive with her blizzard skill from initial attacks, while Grezhul builds a Army and starts to steamroll.
Kalene x Vyloris (Im not experienced with this)
I've only seen this on LC.
I only added this since both heroes have some kind of torture ability.
Celestial
Twins x (Litteraly every boss comp imaginable i swe-)
Twins Unity skill is Undeniable, it is one of the best abilities in the game. (In terms of bossing)
And speaking of Twins.
Twins x Ezizh
Ah yes, God Comp.
I remember when Talene was released and it was considered by many the Best hero in the game
Im not sure where someone came up with God Comp before Talene but all i know is that I've heard it After Talene was released.
But since throughout the days of God Comp, it had cracks all over it, to the point that it Shattered. Its no longer the Best comp.
The fragments of God Comp its now Separated with Other formations, never to be seen again.
The story doesn't end there, as there are better heroes now and people took the inspiration of God Comp.
A new comp was born and its called the Cycle comp.
This overtrew the God Comp in every way imaginable.
If you have no idea what your dealing with, it has barely any counters.
You see it in LC, you see it in the Walls, you see it in Arena formation sometimes, you see it on the forums, it's litteraly everywhere.
And before you know it, you're using the Cycle Comp just like the rest of us.
If you can't beat' em... join em- okay that's enough.
Twins ults giving the team haste and cc immune to help their allies to ult while Ezizh lock the enemies in place from Ulting if he and his allies ult.
This story it's so Fucking Stupid, im leaving.
Athalia x Ezio
This was all the way back when the trials of god was new and innovative.
However one trial gave the chills down the spine to a lot of players. And that is.
The Fallen Souls Trial... This trial, was insane. With insane modifiers like a huge dmg reduction and limited amount of ultimates. However, players with 30 si Athalia, with a Ezio made this trial a lot easier to deal with.
Since Athalia's DOT from her signature ignores dmg reduction and Ezio finishing off low health enemies with his Ultimate.
Alna x Lucretia
Lucretia Cheese... Again...
Orthos x Zolrath (Meme)
The titans of time, both of these heroes are unmatched.
They are both enemies, and them fighting eachother feels so right.
They are definetly not going to fight eachother again.
Zapharel x Lucretia (uhh...)
Technically not a duo.
There both going to get along just fine.
There's a little easter egg, Place a Lucretia in your team, while Zapharel is on the Enemy team.
Press Begin Battle and see what happends.
Veithael x Lucius (Im losing it) (Meme)
By the power of Greyskull.
Speaking of Veithael.
Veithael x Canisa & Ruke (Not Tested)
Personally, i don't have Veithael, im still building cruke.
However having both of tanks in one team seems quite fitting.
Although Veithael doesn't Tank as much compared to Cruke but it's worth the try.
Thanos on Crack (This isn't Funny)
Heavily used in LC.
Talene x (Literally any team that needs healing ffs)
Not Necessarily a Duo since she's healing everyone.
Hypogean
Mehira x Khazard
You guessed it, its Charmizard, Khazard needs 30 si.
Mortas x (Litteraly any hypercarry)
Mortas absolutely slaps. Often used in Campaign and several game modes.
Frampton x Kren (Not Tested) (Atleast for me)
Obviously i don't have frampton upgraded.
Frampton pulling two backline heroes to middle will help a lot, not to mention he has the ability to cheat death. Atleast at e60.
AEzizh x Zolrath
Used against one common foe.
Okay its Flora.
Zolrath x Zapharel
Two of the most core heroes in Burst comp ever since.
Dimensionals
Joker x POP (Prince Of Persia)
Both Joker and Prince, (following with skreg) are somewhat used in PVP.
POP goes in casting his ultimate and following up with Joker's All-Out Attack.
JOA x ABrutus
This is a reference from the current's hunter rewards, or Beast rewards.
Also LC.
Ezio x (Litterarly any hypercarry or PVP hero)
Often used in mostly anywhere, Mostly in ABrutus Comp currently.
QUEEN x Eironn
Utilized in Five-Pull as stated above all of this text.
QUEEN is also used in CR with other heroes.
Ukyo x Zolrath
Has only one purpose, i think you already guessed it.
Merlin x (Litteraly any team that needs healing again)
Often used in Ainz comps and ABrutus comps.
Also AE Season 7.
Mulan x Respen (Not Tested)
Im going to be honest. This is too early to tell.
Ainz x Albedo
Do i really need to tell?. Alright.
Ainzbedo broke the game... there you go.
Geralt x Yennefer (Not Tested)
If i haven't played The Witcher 3.
Then it means i can't even use both of them.
Geralt x Frampton
I saw this Duo in one of the hero trials or guold trials and it seems promising... although...
Nakoruru x Mulan (Not Tested)
Im definitely going in places.
Melusina x (?) (Dynamic Unknown)
Baba yaga has been rarely used in LC and CR, at least thats what i think, ever since her release, i still have no idea what Team or Duo would be quite fitting for her.
In other words, i feel like end game players are hiding her potential.
I guess this is it
This was a lot of writing, unfortunately this is probadly only the tip of the iceberg. Theres probadly multiple combinations hidden deep into the codes, beyond the player's eye. Since this is a long post, it would be fair to add a TL;DR.
I think i should had clarified that this is not a guideline.
TL;DR
Lightbearers
Gwyneth x Lorsan
Fawkes x Tasi
Scarlet x Rosaline
Raine x Belinda
AThane x Eorin
Morrow x Mezoth
Peggy x Baden
Oscar x Nara
Raine x Walker
Estrilda x Athalia
Maulers
Drez x Cecilia
Skriath x Eironn
Skriath x Khasos
Skriath x Numisu
Skruath x Fane
Thali x Satrana
Vurk x Kelthur
Kren x Warek
Granit x Lucretia
Skreg x (insert litteraly any invader hero)
Tidus x Satrana
Antandra x Grezhul
ABrutus x Anasta
Brutus x Daimon
Anoki x (Litteraly any hero)
Safiya x Eironn
Wilders
Lyca x Arden
Astar x ATalene
Solise x ABelinda
Raku x LDV (Leonardo Da Vinci)
Pippa x Oden
Tasi x Pippa
Nemora x Khazard
Eironn x Zolrath
Eitonn x Gwyneth
Saurus x Haleus
ASolise x Nevanthi
Nevanthi x (Litteraly any healer that's bad at healing)
Graveborn
Ferael x Joker
Grezhul x Oden
Silas x Izold
Thoran x Kelthur
Torne x Morael
Theowyn x Flora
ABbaden x Nevanthi
ABaden x AThane
Grezhul x Alna
Kalene x Vyloris
Celestial
Twins x (Litteraly every boss comp imaginable i swear)
Twins x Ezizh
Athalia x Ezio
Alna x Lucretia
Orthos x Zolrath
Zapharel x Lucretia
Veithael x Lucius
Veithael x Canisa & Ruke
Thanos on Crack
Talene x (Literally any team that needs healing ffs)
Hypogeans
Mehira x Khazard
Mortas x (Litteraly any hypercarry)
Frampton x Kren
AEzizh x Zolrath
Zolrath x Zapharel
Dimensionals
Joker x POP (Prince Of Persia)
JOA x ABrutus
Ezio x (Litteraly any hypercarry or PVP hero)
Queen x Eironn
Ukyo x Zolrath
Merlin x (Litteraly any team that needs healing again)
Mulan x Reapen
Ainz x Albedo
Geralt x Yennefer
Geralt x Frampton
Nakoruru x Mulan
Melusina x (?)
This is way too much
I probadly won't do this again... I hope you didn't read everything... this took hours... Welp that's about it. I should be heading out at this rate In other words, maybe you can shed some light on these Duo's, or ones that would be more fitting than the ones i listed... i suppose this is goodbye... for now...

2023.01.11 12:24 bambinoloco Finished & Frustrated
So, I just finished the Wonderlands campaign on my Graveborn + Spore warden companion build and just unlocked the chaos chambers last night. Been breezing through the chaos levels up till I hit chaos 15, at which point I've hit a point in the game where it feels like my companion damage has fallen off significantly more so than the other levels and my survivability has completely gone out the window. I mean, I'm literally being one shotted by NON-ELITE enemies in the chaos chamber and it boggles me how much worse I am at this current chaos level. And it stumps me because I was under the impression that the companion build completely MELTS enemies even @ chaos 20? But I can't seem to go through the chambers without running around like a little b**** much like Zane from BL3 when it just released just to avoid damage.
Am I doing something wrong here? Is there something I'm not grasping or getting right? Most youtube comments seem to be having a WONDERFUL time with this build and being a Handsome Jack Digiclone AND Zane clone/SNTL fanboy, I really do love seeing my minions do my bidding. But right now, all it's doing is making me wanna start a fresh character (Probably stabbo because From The Darkness is basically FL4K's skill) just to have a much easier time at the game. Can anybody help?
For reference:
I am using NickTew's build as a guide for my own (
https://youtu.be/5YkZYWtx1zg) and it basically carried me all throughout my normal campaign and previous chaos levels. I've also got a full backpack with Feriore weapons that spawn Hydras to proc Harvest + Faithful Thralls, rings that buff companion damage + companion critical damage up to 15% AND a class mod/armor piece that adds more points into Faithful Thralls, Dark Hydra and Thrill of The Hunt respectively.

2023.01.08 04:45 Pitiful-Blacksmith92 Looking for tips!
I've just beat the campaign with my second character. I decided I wanted to do a Graveborn Spellshot build. I am currently just lacking equipment to further enhance my build. I'll post my two skill trees in another post since I don't know how to add them to text post. If anyone has any tips/tricks/item(s) to look out for whilst adventuring that would be sweet!!

2023.01.07 02:06 rogueakatsuki Deadshot Companion Build Help
I am about to start Chaos soon and wanted to get the right stats for the companion build I'm going for. My current build is to go Frostburn to summon hydras and do a lot of companion damage through my Graveborn skills. Also planned on getting pixies when I get to that point. What kind hero points and myth ranks should I be going for this build? Should I stick with my current Crit Damage set up or go into wisdom something like wisdom instead?

2023.01.05 15:34 sami27 How restrictive is C100 in terms of builds/how to improve mine
So I'm trying to get my first character through the chaos levels as someone new to this game but not the series or mayhem/OP levels and I'm wondering how few builds are viable at C100. Are you limited to using a like 2 builds per class or can you make anything work with enough passives/specific items?
Been using a pure dark magic gun build on my graveborn/blightcaller but my DPS has fallen off around C30. Any obvious changes I need to make without going full blightcaller or do I just need to grind out more synergistic gear (mostly using a Gluttony pistol and whatever looks good).
