People of Interest: (This list is a bit hard to follow because of the long names. This chart :
http://www.businessinsider.com/a-whos-who-of-the-saudi-royal-family-2015-2 will help you clarify who is who.) King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud (King Saud. Deceased) : King of Saudi Arabia (1932-1953) King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Deceased) : 5th son of King Saud. King of Saudi Arabia until his death in 2015. Successor is King Salman Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Henceforth King Salman): Current King of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). 8th son of deceased King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud. Mohammad bin Salman (Henceforth Crown Prince Mohammad): Son of King Salman. Currently next in line to be king after King Salman. Muqrin bin Abdulaziz (Former Deputy Crown Prince. Henceforth Muqrin) : 9th son of deceased King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud. Was next in line to be king if King Salman had died before being crowned king. IS THE FATHER OF Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud! THE MAN KILLED IN THE HELICOPTOR CRASH ON 11/5/2017. Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Henceforth Mansour) : Son of Muqrin bin Abdulaziz. Died 11/5/2017, the day of the failed coup on the throne of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Alwaleed bin Talal (Henceforth Talal) : Billionaire businessmen. Grandson of King Saud. Has ties to DNC, Clinton, Podesta. Arrested 11/4/2017 for corruption. Owns The Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas (Four Seasons occupy the top floors of Mandalay Bay) Owns shares in Twitter as well as other high-tech silicon valley companies. Has had spats with Trump in the past. I know that's a mouthful of names, but bear with me. Just remember 4 names: Salman, Mohammad, Muqrin, and Mansour. Do you remember how President Trump visited Saudi Arabia back in May of 2017? Do you remember how warmly he was greeted by King Salman? I do. It was a spectacle. Why was he greeted so welcomingly? After all, President Obama's reception was... shall we say, less than grand. Do you remember how after Trump's visit, Saudi Arabia started becoming more open in their policies? Women can drive there now. Did you notice how the Syrian rebellion became quiet? Did you notice how quickly ISIS was crushed after the visit? Why did Saudi Arabia suddenly want to get their oil companies listed on the NYSE? What could have caused this? To answer this, we have to look a little further back. Back to around 2010. It all goes back to fracking. You see, the Kindom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has always relied heavily on its vast petrol reserves for wealth and prosperity. And they were ruthless. OPEC. The cartel of gasoline. You can't count the number of times throughout history that OPEC used its power to crush governments, manipulate prices, control supplies, and fund activities. If there ever was a international group of bullies, OPEC was it. And at the head of this organization was the mighty KSA. Then came the fracking boom. Suddenly, the world was no longer at the mercy of OPEC. This made them nervous. So, they did what they always do. They pumped out more petroleum, driving the price of gas to lowest in decades. What was their objective? To bankrupt these fracking businesses. KSA is rich. Very rich. They figured, we'll just drive gas prices unbelievably low and take the loss until all these fracking business startups crumble. Do you remember how cheap gas got between 2013-2016? It was ridiculous, wasn't it? But what they didn't count on was just how cheap fracking had become. So many of these business didn't go bankrupt. So they took another step. To convince the world that fracking was bad for the environment. So they lobbied and supplied funds to the Democratic party. Why? Because the leftist are usually the ones who support ANY and ALL environmental regulations. Do you remember all the legal battles that fracking had to go through? Hell, it's still illegal in most blue states. Do you now understand why the Saudis donated so much money to the Clinton campaign? She was HEAVILY favored to win and if she did, you can bet your ass that illegalizing fracking would have been on the top of her list, returning us to dependence on arab oil. But... this didn't work either. Fracking continued. And then, a shitstorm of reality hit them hard. You see, KSA had vastly underestimated the amount of total shale reserves in North America. They had no idea that so much of this stuff exists. They thought maybe they could ride it out if the reserves would dry up in a decade or so. But nope. We have enough shale to supply us for at least 50 years. Hmmm... big problem. So, if you're King Salman, what do you do? Well, there's only one thing you can do. Give up the reliance on oil production and try to use existing wealth to stay wealthy. To modernize its trade to include more than just exports of oil. They would need to build an entire industrial country from scratch. To do that, he needed the help of the USA. And that's where President Trump comes in. You see, the May 2017 meeting between Trump and King Salman (and his son Mohammad), was not just another meeting. It was a business meeting. King Salman asked Trump for help. Trump was more than willing to give it (like listing the oil companies on the NYSE) but his help would come with a price. Liberalization and the stop of illegal funding. No more contributions to American politics. No more supplying funds to terrorists or splinter groups. King Salman took the deal. All of a sudden, women were allowed to drive. ISIS was retreating. Syrian rebels suddenly ran out of ammunition. Yay. All good up to this point. Now comes the bad Not all the royalties in KSA are into this. They don't like losing the power they once had. What's worse, they don't want to become liberal. They now start resenting King Salmon. They start plotting against him. At the forefront of this movement is none other than the previous Deputy Crown Prince, Muqrin, and his son, Mansour (the man killed in the helicopter crash of 11/5/17). October 1, 2017. The top floors of Mandalay Bay isn't Mandalay Bay, but is Four Seasons, owned by billionaire Talal. Who was occupying that whole floor that night? I can't remember where, but I heard that the whole floor was reserved for that week. Now, no one would do that unless they were Saudi royalty. We don't know for sure, but my guess is Crown Prince Mohammad. We know it wasn't King Salman, because he was in Russia at the time.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/oct/05/saudi-russia-visit-putin-oil-middle-east The plan is to take out the crown prince. Then kill King Salman. With the King and the Crown Prince dead, who is next in line? Yup. The former deputy crown prince, Muqrin. So, posing as terrorists who wanted to buy the guns for some terrorist attack, they dupe the CIA or FBI to supply the guns to the death squad. Their real plan is to climb the stairs right after the deal and kill the VIP in the floors above them. This is why the weapons cashe was located on the 32nd floor. They would only have to climb a few stairs or take the elevator up a little to start the killing. Now, here's what happened that night: With the post from kneejerk55, I have modified the events of the night. I think it fits much better Paddock is the contact man to supply the guns. He meets a couple of assassins ahead of time (remember, the shooting starts at 10:05). At this point, Paddock is thinking this is a gun deal. Only a few magazines are loaded. He merely wants to show the customers how to load the chamber etc... What he doesn't know is that the advance team was sent to secure the floor. That all but one entry point to the floor would be barricaded (crucial since the reason Campos becomes suspicious of the blocked doors is what ultimately leads him to investigate) The reason for the barricade is that once the assault starts, the assassins want to make sure to impede the authorities as much as possible from reaching the top floors. CIA/FBI (or Trump's own intelligence) got wind of the assassination that was about to take place. Immediate action is taken to round up the assassins. Remember, we're talking about an army of assassins here. You can't kill a Crown Prince who's protected by 30 armed bodyguards by pulling a Jack Ruby. I estimate at least 20 assassins in total. What the assassins didn't know was that the prince had disguised himself as a regular dude to enjoy the nightlife in Vegas. (Saudi princes have been known to do this) He had slipped away from the Mandalay and was at the Tropicana playing some cards. As soon as the FBI (or some other agency) learned of the assassination plot, they stormed the Tropicana and extracted the prince. The video can be seen here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVHmshtmDqo They lead him out of the casino and escort him to the nearest helipad to be picked up. BUT, on the way, they encounter some resistance from a few assassins. Hence the firefight at the airport. Eventually, he makes it to the chopper and is whisked away. This explains the flight radar reports you see all over the net. Meanwhile, the FBI has gathered up as many of the assassins as they can. A few are armed with sidearms. They don't have rifles yet because the rendezvous with Paddock hasn't occurred yet. Hence the random firefights at various casinos that night. A few are killed. Hence the Laura Loomer videos of covered up dead people.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oxAZIpSUuM The assassins already in Paddock's room gets a call. They are told that the Prince is not in his suite above. That he's being escorted out of the Tropicana. They start panicking. If they get caught in this plot to assassinate the crown prince, not only are they dead, but their employer is dead as well. They come up with a plan. They will kill Paddock and start firing on the crowd below. They're gonna make him a crazy lone gunman. So they kill Paddock. They break a window. They pick up a rifle and start firing at the crowd below. After a couple of mags, they realize that the other mags aren't loaded! Holy fuck. They start reloading as fast as possible. This is why the average time between bursts of fire is over 40 seconds. One of them gets an idea. Let me go to the other room and break that window and shoot at the fuel tanks at a nearby airport. This will draw the police away from the Mandalay and they can escape. So he goes and attempts just that. Unfortunately, the tanks do not blow up. By this time, Jesus Campos is knocking on the door. So they just unload on him. This is why there are (supposedly) 200 shots through the door. Campos escapes a lethal shot and calls in security. Now the assassins are getting nervous. They realize that someone in the hotel knows that someone is firing. They fire as much as they can. They are thinking as soon as this barrage is done, we run. But the swat team starts knocking on the door. Fuck. The assassins realize they're screwed. So the first one shoots himself. (This is the first of the single shots you hear at the end). The second assassin isn't so sure. He doesn't want to die. So after 10 seconds of courage gathering, he shoots himself as well. The SWAT team bursts in and finds 3 bodies. They start asking questions. But because the FBI is already there (remember, they extracted the prince) they take over. They quickly assess the situation. They realize the implications. They remove the 2 assassins bodies, take a picture of Paddock lying there, and release it to 4chan to solidify their narrative. Paddock is made the patsy. Why? Because if a failed Saudi assassination attempt was responsible for the deaths, if the FBI/CIA had supplied the guns that killed 58 innocent people (not counting Paddock since he's an asset), then two things would happen. One, we would demand that we go to war with Saudi Arabia. And two, which ever organization that Paddock worked for would be utterly dismantled. Wew lads, I know. Quite a story. Now, let's fast forward to one month later. We know a missile was intercepted by the Saudi military on November 3 or 4th. This was probably the final effort by the anti King Salman group. This was their last ditch effort to kill him. OR, it was staged to give King Salman the excuse to round everyone up in retaliation of the assassination attempt. We know that MASSIVE raids and the rounding of Saudi princes took place on the 5th. I will guarantee you that all these people are anti Salman/Mohammad. And who was just killed? Yes. The son of Muqrin, Mansour. Mansour's death was retaliation. I have no doubt of it. He was executed. Ok, now that this has happened, what's next? Well, my guess will be that we will learn all of the funding that has been coming out of Saudi Arabia for the past decade. It will expose their connections to the DNC. We will learn that they have been at the root of all the turmoil in the Middle East. Then, they'll all be executed.

2023.03.23 19:47 Banaaninen Scrip or save? Don’t know much about these
2023.03.23 19:34 sosomething Many of the guns in this game wouldn't function IRL and here's why
I've been enjoying Freelancer mode, but for a game with so much emphasis on firearms, the collecting of firearms, and the fancy display of firearms (in Freelancer at least), the in-game model assets used for almost all of the guns themselves are laughably wrong.
I'm not talking about the graphical fidelity. I'm playing on PS5 in 4K and they're sharp and detailed enough. The textures are mostly pretty nice. Nor am I talking about their visual accuracy to the IRL weapons they're patterned after. I get that many of these are fictional representations of real weapons and I expect little details to be changed.
I'm talking about mechanical details in the way the models are drawn. It's very clear that there was nobody on the asset team knowledgeable enough about firearms to understand how they function mechanically, and hence we've got a whole wall full of guns that would be inoperable or very sub-optimal in their operation if 47 was bound to the laws of physics.
Since a few of you asked me to do this in another thread (and I kind of wanted to, anyway), here's the list with a final verdict on whether, in my opinion, they would shoot or not shoot.
---
SNIPER RIFLES Sieger 300 - Based on: Walther WA 2000
- There is a clamp typically attached to the fore end of the rifle frame with retractable tripod legs. In game, the tripod legs are gone and the clamp is moved halfway up the barrel.
- There's some kind of tube running from the rifle "upper" about halfway down the barrel and attaching to the tripod clamp. I have no idea what this would be for, as it's not part of the real rifle's operation. Seems to me that it's reused from an AR-style rifle barrel asset and the devs, not knowing how a gas system works, or what the clamp above does, just decided to marry the two for some reason.
- The charging handle is pulled halfway back despite the actual bolt being fully closed. Unfortunately, this would mean you couldn't actually chamber a round from the magazine.
- Verdict: Would Not Shoot
Jaeger 7 - Based on: Possibly a combination of the HK PSG1 and Sig Sauer SG 550. The only weird thing here is that both of those IRL rifles are semi-auto, but the Jaeger is clearly designed as a bolt-action rifle.
- The model is actually pretty decent. It's simple with exception to the modular stocks they put on the different variants. The only issue is that on all of them, the optics are mounted wayyy too far back - with the part you look through hovering halfway over the cheek weld on the stock. This means that a normal-sized human couldn't shoulder the stock and look through the scope at the same time.
- Verdict: Would Shoot, very impractical to use
Bartoli Woodsman - Based on: kind of a mix between two classic American bolt-action rifles, the Weatherby Mk V and the Savage 110, with an added "thumb hole" in the stock that probably wouldn't be helpful, but otherwise it's fine.
- Only issue with this one is the ICA variant's barrel. It's listed as being suppressed, but there is no suppressor on the end of that barrel. Those little fluted hole things (that aren't even holes in the model) would actually make the report from firing noticeably louder IRL.
- Verdict: Would shoot just fine
Druzhina 34 - Based on: Dragunov SVD or SVDM
- Aside from the stock geometry, it's a pretty solid depiction of the SVD.
- However, the game lists its description as "A modern long-distance sniper rifle. Very effective at all ranges, but has a slow firing rate." Well, the Druzhina and the Dragunov it's based on are both semi-automatic rifles, so no, the fire rate should not be slow. The IRL gun will dispense rounds as fast as you can pull the trigger. So it's obvious that the devs have no idea what the difference is between bolt-action and semi-auto, and they seem to mix and match those designs and their attributes with little care to how the actual weapons operate.
- Verdict: Dumb description aside, Would Shoot
--- PISTOLS Silverballer / ICA19 / Matador / Striker - Based on: all of these are variants of the 1911 semi-automatic .45 caliber pistol. Most likely a specific manufacturer or manufacturers were used to get design cues from, but they don't differ that much.
- Regarding the ICA19 F/A - you don't really see full-auto 1911s anywhere, I think there might be about half a dozen in existence world-wide. Generally, full-auto machine pistols in video games are based on the real-life Glock 18, as it's a lot easier to modify a striker-fired pistol (rather than a hammer-fired pistol like the 1911) for full-auto fire. Hitman doesn't have a Glock model, though, and the pitiful Hackl (which we'll get to later) is the lowest-quality gun model in the entire game.
- These 1911s are the best gun models in the game, which given the game lore, makes sense. I have no issues with any of these.
- Verdict: Would shoot!
Hackl 9S / 9R - Based on: God knows, this thing is a mess. It's probably supposed to be a Glock, given the description, but this model looks like it's been upscaled from a PS2 game. Frankly it's embarrassing. Issues abound.
- Every component of the weapon appears to be made from shiny ABS toy plastic.
- There's a hole in the base of the trigger guard for some reason. Honestly, to me, it looks like they stole the grip and trigger guard geometry from an AR-pattern rifle, which would explain the hole (ARs sometimes have modular trigger guards, and there would be a bolt there holding some of it together). It has no reason to be here aside from the fact that the devs clearly have no idea how guns work.
- The slide of the weapon looks out of battery, meaning you'd have to give the back of the slide a good smack into place before you could pull that Lego block of a trigger.
- There seems to be an ambidextrous magazine release, and then a 2nd empty hole in the grip below for mysterious reasons. I think the devs looked at the left side of a Glock, saw the mag release button, looked at the right side, saw the other side of the button (which passes through the frame), and got confused. All 4 holes are in entirely the wrong spot anyway; they're way too high into the trigger guard. Using this pistol would have you unintentionally dropping your mag every time you brought it up to fire.
- There's no slide catch, despite having the notch in the slide for one. Who needs a slide catch when you've got 4 mag releases?
- There is no ejector, so spent cartridges would just rattle around in the chamber after every shot, immediately jamming the weapon (which would give you time to retrieve your magazine from the ground). None of this matters, though, because...
- There is no barrel.
- Verdict: Are you fucking kidding me??
HWK21 / HWK21 Covert - Based on: This one is weird, because this gun uses different models for different variants. I list only these two here because they reuse most of their assets from the pathetic Hackl above.
- They remembered to include some stuff here that they forgot to put in the Hackl, namely: the ejector, a correct number of magazine releases, and uh, the fucking barrel.
- It's still a shitty model but, with those omissions corrected...
- Verdict: Would shoot
HWK21 Pale / Assassin's / Homemade / Etc. - Based on: First I was thinking HK VP9, but I think the closest thing appears to be the Beretta APX
- Most of this one is OK, but it is clearly lacking an ejector and a slide catch.
- Verdict: Would shoot - ONCE - then you'd have to clear the jam to fire again
Bartoli 75S / 75R / Rude Ruby - Based on: Hard for me to say for sure. It's definitely inspired by Beretta aesthetics, and is probably kind of a combo of several models, like the 3032 Tomcat and PX4 Storm.
- In general this is another pretty well-modeled gun. It's not missing any obvious parts and is nicely detailed and textured, with one exception: Only the 75R actually has the hammer positioned correctly. On the 75S and Rude Ruby, the hammer is cocked, but not in the right place. It's too high, meaning that when the trigger is pulled, the hammer would connect with the frame instead of the firing pin and it wouldn't fire.
- Verdict: 75R would shoot, the others would not shoot
--- SMGs DAK X2 - Based on: MAC-10
- Charging handle is backwards on this weapon. It looks pulled all the way back but the bolt is closed, making an inoperable weapon.
- The trigger on all DAKs is also hilariously stupid-looking
- Verdict: Would not shoot
DAK Black Covert / DAK DTI - Charging handle is oriented correctly on these (and the other variants), but on these two, the optic mount is basically on top of it, making it very difficult (if not impossible) to cock the weapon and chamber a round from a fresh magazine.
- Verdidct: Would shoot - until you needed to reload
ICA SMG RAPTOR - Based on: Kriss VECTOR
- In general these aren't bad. Some of the better-designed weapons in the game.
- It's possible there could be some issue with the bolt being open while the charging handle is forward, but this is one of the details they changed for the model to differentiate it from the IRL gun, so I hesitate to call it a problem and will really just say it looks kind of weird.
- Verdict: Would probably shoot fine
HX-10 - Based on: HK UMP, maybe a little Sig Sauer MPX thrown in
- Only one real issue, which is that the charging handle is not connected to the cocking mechanism at all, and appears instead to be sticking out of a random place in the molded handguard. You can even see the hole in the upper of the weapon where it should be, but whoever put it together said "Fuck that, I'd rather just shove it into this plastic piece way over here."
- At least they gave us a mag release on this one.
- Verdict: Can't be cocked, can't shoot
HX-7 - Based on: HK MP5
- The base model is mostly OK, though the devs decided we didn't need a magazine release on any of them, so I guess once you run your mag out, you just drop the whole gun and pick up a new one.
- My favorite thing about the HX-7 Covert variant is that the charging handle is... not connected to it. It's there, but it's just floating out in space around the barrel, completely disconnected from the rest of the model. I think they reused the placement from the HX-10 model but, as this is a different gun and has a different shape, we now have a disembodied charging handle that just hovers there for mysterious reasons.
- Verdict: lmao
Shotguns Most of the shotguns, largely based on typical Mossberg 870 / Remington 590 pump-action shotguns (albeit with a
super weird-looking stock), are pretty solid and don't have any obvious issues. However...
Enram HV - Based on: imagination
- The place where you would load the weapon is missing a feed ramp, and the actual opening is far too narrow to fit a 12ga shell. It might be wide enough for a 20ga shell, but then we're talking about a severaly underpowered weapon compared to the rest of the shotguns in the game. And it's not. Which means the devs are once again confused.
- The description lists it as "a modern bullpup shotgun," which tells us that the devs also don't know what bullpup means, as this weapon is conventional in orientation and the chamber is clearly forward of the trigger assembly.
Assault Rifles Let's kind of take these as a group.
- The Fusils (mostly based on the AR-15 / M4) have their charging handles fully forward but have their bolts fully back. This implies that the charging handle isn't properly connected to the bolt, the weapon cannot be put into battery, and therefor would not shoot.
- The trigger guard on the Fusil is also goofy. Looks like it was taken from the IWI Tavor which is a bullpup and just plopped onto the lower receiver of this very conventional assault rifle.
- The Fusil G1-4/C variant also shows that the devs didn't study the weapon it's based on, because by removing the stock completely, they also removed the weapon's buffer tube. That tube contains the spring that returns the weapon's bolt carrier into battery. Hence, it EXTRA would not shoot.
- The TAC-4 ARs (based on a generic bullpup rifle) are also mostly fine. They're so slabby that there aren't many details to fuck up, but I will note that all of their flip-up sights are mounted facing backwards, so there's that. Whoops.
- All of the TAC-4s also have a weird little vestigial magazine release lever inside the trigger guard that I assume the devs didn't understand, and didn't realize they could omit when they made these bullpup designs. Sort of like the tailbone or appendix... they're there, but nobody is sure why...
- The RS-15 has has the charging handle back and the chamber is wide open, so we can see there is no bolt carrier in the rifle at all. Inside the chamber is just a walled-off void - nowhere for rounds to go, nothing to load or fire them, and no opening for the barrel either... so uh, you guessed it, this thing super duper would not fucking shoot.
- The Shashka A33 (obvs based on the AK-47) appears to have its charging handle welded to the rear of the bolt carrier, meaning you could not physically cock it - nor could it cycle a 2nd round into the chamber after firing the first round. So while it might shoot, it would only shoot once and then probably damage itself.
--- That's it. I don't have every gun yet, so if there's anything glaring I missed, feel free to mention it in the comments. I hope you found this as informative / amusing as I found it all frustrating to observe. At least then there'd be an upside to all of it, LOL.

2023.03.23 18:51 Uthgar We worked with players from the community to create a new site with builds and more!
| Hey everyone, I’m a long time Destiny player- started at the end of Vault of Glass, so I missed the Loot Cave but got to enjoy cheesing the Ogre (and everything else) in Crota’s End. Over the years, I went on to found mobalytics.gg with the goal of making a companion for all players to enjoy their favorite games with. We have a lot of D2 players on the team and today, we finally get to share our new Destiny 2 site that we’ve built for you all. Builds One of the biggest things we felt was missing in the D2 world was the ability to collect and share builds from all the great creators in one easy place, so we partnered up with guys like Plunderthabooty, Datto, KackisHD and more (will be added soon!), to set that up. https://preview.redd.it/1dmvx5ll0jpa1.png?width=1019&format=png&auto=webp&s=08b2c3214adea1730393a2577357d825c24322d1 You can check out these builds and more here. Here’s a preview of what a full build looks like: https://preview.redd.it/kmd8lhho0jpa1.png?width=813&format=png&auto=webp&s=403b4ff9ca917fb13541e30707f68ed81af458e6 God Rolls and Exotics Even as a huge stats nerd, as life responsibilities grew and I couldn’t spend all day on D2 (feels bad), I realized that I couldn’t quickly identify what guns I got were good and what weren’t, and why they were good/bad. So we also created a section that lets people sort through god rolls and exotics, as they link to the different builds to find out what’s good, where, and how. Here’s a look at the page for The Immortal. https://preview.redd.it/1dxc8gsv0jpa1.png?width=910&format=png&auto=webp&s=ae6dbfa5fc10ef60665fee2e618059c3e51a965e This is all a first attempt from us, so please give us feedback. People who frequent this subreddit or the ones who we made this for the most ! Let us know what sucks, what you like most, how to make it better, and most importantly tell us what you want to see in the future. I am hoping this is a long journey for me and the team as I really love Destiny and have so much we want to create here. Guardian out! submitted by Uthgar to destiny2builds [link] [comments] |

Pics (including serial number) This comp/break is still on my gun but will be taken off tomorrow, 24 March Fortis Manufacturing 556M Nitride Muzzle Brake and Control Shield Combo- this has been on my 11.3" AR and has seen probably 400 to maybe 450 rounds. The comp and shield will be cleaned and ready for someone else to enjoy. Only selling because I just picked up my suppressor last week. Throw this on your gun and the control shield helps prevent the excessive concussion typical of a short barrel and aggressive compensator. I wouldn't be too upset if I had to keep this to throw on a different gun. Msrp is 205, let's say
SV- $110 Not really wanting to separate comp/shield
Magpul MS1 Padded Sling- bought this to use with my Shotgun, and then was gifted a custom leather sling so this has sat aside for a year or so now. Used it for 1 hunt and that's it. SV- $40 SOLD Upper Receivers Bundle SV- $100 Aero Precision M4E1 Stripped Upper Receiver, black, threaded (blem)- bought this as a blem, and I tried to show in the pictures. Unused Ballistic Advantage (aero) M4E1 Complete Upper Receiver, black, threaded- This one is complete and NOT a blem and is BA branded. Unused I will also put a Geissele end plate and castle nut in the box. They are unmarked afaik, but came with the G$ tube I ordered and I just wanted the tube. SOLD Magazine Bundle SV- $30 Magpul PMAG 20 LSR M3- (×3) 1 of these is still in the package, the other two do not have a package but are unused.
This bundle is now just for the three LSR PMAG 20 M3 Blue Topo CPD Duramag (Speed) 5.56/.223- bought this from TamFamGram on instagram. Only had 1 set of 30 rounds fed through it. It's cool, but figured I'd pass it on to someone who wants it more. SOLD Magpul PMAG 35 EV9 Fits CZ Scorpion Evo 3- brand new in sealed package SOLD MKM Isonzo SMKW Exclusive- This nice little folding knife has Fat Carbon Lava Flow scales, a dark stonewash M390 cleaver style blade, and a reversible wire pocket clip. Made in Italy, and very cool little knife. Used to cut tape on a couple packages, and never carried. Smokey Mountain Knife Works Exclusive at 150
SV- $90 Extra's listed below are only available as add-ons to the main items above.
(Extra) Odin Works XMR3 extended magazine release- Urgan Grey color, installed on my go-to rifle and enjoyed it, but realized a regular mag release button works fine for me. SV- $5 (msrp is 22, good chance to try one out just for the hell of it) SOLD (Extra) Driven Arms Co REIN Switch MLOK Adapters- (Inline Slim) use these to mount your Cloud Defensive REIN switch to your handguards mlok slots instead of picatinny rails. This set is brand new and still sealed. I don't think these come back in stock very often, and I paid 28 plus tax and shipping. SV- $20 SOLD (Extra) Cloud Defensive/Nightcore UI2 "custom label" charger- 2 is 1 and 1 is none, but i have like 6 of these. Cloud sells them for 25. SV- $5 SOLD (Extra) Efest LUC S2 LCD Universal Charger with 4 unused 16340's (700mAh V2 3.7volts) - This charger alone is 20 normally, and the batteries are normally 6 a piece. SV- $10 (Extra) Scott Archery Quick-Shot. Brand new sealed package.

The kit runs flawlessly with the included magazine and I've put roughly 200 rounds through it but am not the first owner.
These kits are hard to find, one surfaces every 6 months to a year at best. They're highly sought after in the MG community for full auto AUG owners.

2023.03.23 17:16 mitchmatch26 2023 32 Teams/32 Days: Pittsburgh Steelers--Replacement Refs Style
Pittsburgh Steelers
Division: AFC North
Record: 9-8 (3-3 Division), 3rd place AFC North
Playoffs: Never rely on Joe Flacco to get you in.
First, thanks to
u/ehhhhhhhhhhmacarena for letting me sub in on this for the 2nd time in three years. Maybe next year we'll get it right the first time. 😘
LINK TO HUB General Season Review The 2022 Steelers season was seen largely as a rebuilding year. No Ben. TJ missing a lot of time. OL not really a work of art. Offensively there are only 3 starters on their 2nd contracts, so the team is very young there. The Front seven on defense was/is severely lacking depth behind TJ, Cam, and Highsmith. The DBs outside of Minkah and Edmunds were largely unknowns, gambles, or value signings. Nothing about this team screamed “playoff chances until the last second of the season”. But that’s exactly how it went. They were alive until the clock struck zero on Jets-Dolphins in Week 18.
Mitchell Trubisky won the starting QB job out of camp, and as the veteran with the most starting experience on the roster, that makes sense. He was the safe choice. The staff has seen what they get with Mason. KP was a rook and you don’t want to shellshock him too soon. But you know what you get with a QB like Mitch. An uninspired offense that doesn’t move the ball quickly at all. Once KP arrived at half in Week 4 vs the Jets, the team was his. Sure the box score doesn’t look all that different. But if you have a choice between a vet who doesn’t do much, and a rookie who at least looks the same and improving? Take the upside.
KP improved every week and limited his mistakes. He ended up taking more control of the offense and had 4 fourth quarter comebacks/game winning drives, in weeks 9, 11, 15, and 16. Talk about improvement.
But the team still started 2-6. Finished 7-3 to go 9-8. Missed the playoffs. Nobody is “happy” with missing the playoffs or a barely .500 season, but given the situation, it wasn’t a bad season. Lots to love about this year. Some nice role players stuck out, the stars did what they do, and the franchise’s future showed lots of good things.

Weekly Game Review: Week 1, @ Bengos: WHAT A WIN. WHAT A WIN. Okay, so I was at this game (6-0 all time baybayyyy) and felt gross after. An injured long snapper being the difference maker is crazy. Oh and Minkah going completely fucking super saiyan on the kitties from
Eastern Kentucky Ohio. 14 tackles. 10 solo. 1 INT/TD. AND A BLOCKED XP TO SEND IT TO OVERTIME. Boy went crazy. Mike T started the game by stuffing everyones lockers with blacked out Air Force 1s, and Minkah brought that energy. Ja’Marr Chase felt it too when he gave Mink the bird and got 15 yards for it hahahahahahahahahaha.
Mitch Trubisky sucks at football.
Side note: Cincy fans, your city is known for its god awful chili/meat sauce/who cares what it's called. But PBS serves the fucking Walmart brand of it in stadium?? What up w that??
Week 2, vs. Patriots: First week of seven without TJ 🥲. Bill Belichick activated sleeper agent Gunner O to fumble that punt in the third quarter and then the Patriots scored.
Mitch Trubisky sucks at football.
Week 3, @ Brownies: Jacoby “Brisket” Brissett sliced and diced the defense to hand the Steelers this L. Best Browns QB on the roster, hands down.
Mitch Trubisky sucks at football.
Week 4, vs. Jets: Distractions from WRs who weren’t getting the ball and QBs fucking moms should distract the Jets and allow the Steelers defense to take over and win this one pretty handily right? Nope. Wanna know why?
Because:
Mitch Trubisky sucks at football.
Subbed at half. ITS TIME FOR THE PICKLER TO SHINE. No? Maybe next week in Buffalo.
Week 5, @ Bills: Ron Howard: “He did not shine in Buffalo the next week.”
Week 6, vs. Bucs: Kenny got slapped in the head and left the game in the 3rd. But guess what?? MITCH TRUBISKY DOESN’T SUCK AT FOOTBALL AND HE BEAT TOM BRADY AND THE BUCS.
Week 7, @ Fins: This SNF game was honestly not bad despite the box score. Despite the L there was a lot of positive to take from Kenny and his growth, which is what mattered most this year.
Week 8, @ Eagles: I don’t wanna talk about it. Week 9, @ UPMC Rooney Sports Complex: This is around the time the reports that KP8 had an “office” at the team facility to grind extra tape. Turns out it’s just a desk in the team room. Sorry Russ haters, not today.
LIVE IMAGE OF KENNY WORKING IN HIS OFFICE Week 10, vs. Saints: Ho hum. Steelers beating Andy Dalton. What’s new? TJ back after missing weeks 2-8 and healthy-ish. Najee finally gets kickin and the offense with it. Not a world beater, but better all around.
Week 11, vs. Bengals: 🚨🚨 30 POINT OFFENSIVE EFFORT ALERT 🚨🚨 Buuuuuuuut the Bengos transformed to the Dark Bengos over their bye and Dark Bengo must have his sacrifice.
Top 5 Uni matchup on the year too hands down. Maybebe ever.
White
inbred Bengo vs Blacked Out Block Letters. Chefs Kiss.
Week 12, @ Colts: Steelers love beating the Colts. I don’t know what it is about them, but there’s blood in the water. My logic is Indiana is next to Ohio. Steelers hate and historically own Ohio teams. Indy by nature of being near Ohio is basically Ohio. So, the team just treats them like they do any other Ohio team.
Week 13, @ Falcons: The coolest part of this game was
the similarities of Connor Heywards first NFL touchdown and his father’s first NFL receiving TD.
Week 14, vs. Ravens: KP got hurt on like the 8th play of the game bc he came down with whatever disability Tua has that doesn’t allow them to properly go down when being tackled. I don’t know if it’s the body weight sack rules, QBs not knowing how to fall, or the spinning twist tackles, something’s gotta change.
Mitch Trubisky sucks at football.
Week 15, @ Panthers: This was a win but it certainly wasn’t because Mitch Trubisky is *good* at football. The Panthers had 21 rushing yards. Even for pass heavy teams that’s bad. So when The Darnold is your QB, you’re gonna suffer.
I mean uhhh the
RIGGED NFL
STOLE this game from the GEQBUS.
Week 16, vs. Raiders: A lot of us Steelers fans were nervous for this game. The Raiders have been a thorn in Coach Ts side for years. He was 2-5 entering this game against them. But we weren’t gonna let that ruin the Immaculate Reception 50th anniversary game, especially after Franco passed. And in 1972 football fashion, the Steelers won a 13-10 barn burner on a TD pass from KP to GP with :46 on the clock. And then Cam Sutton made that diving INT to seal the deal. Merry Christmas Yinz.
Week 17, @ Ravens: Naj delivers his first 100 yard performance of the year. TJ Watt says this is the first time all year he’s been injury free. Mitch Trubisky is not allowed to suck at football. Life is good.
Week 18, vs. Browns: All the team had to do is win against a division opponent, and pray to god the Bills don’t phone it in against the Patriots. Oh and rely on Joe Flacco to beat the Fins. Never rely on flacco for anything.
Overall Record: 9-8 High Points: - Week One was a great surprise after the Bengals trounced the Steelers for all of 2021.
- Kenny’s weekly improvements, especially after the bye.
- George Pickens.
- Every time Minkah did something batshit insane on the field.
- The Immaculate Reception game was a great Christmas gift.
Low Points - Every snap of Mitchell Trubisky playing football minus the Buccaneers game.
- Losing to the Zach Wilson led Jets.
- ILB play all season was a nothing burger.
- Chris Boswell’s Groin 2: Electric Boogaloo (sequel to the 2018 original).
Low Points for Yinzers - Every day that Mike Tomlin and Matt Canada aren’t fired by the Stillers.
- Any time they think about drafting Najee and Friermuth over Creed Humphrey and Landon Dickerson.
- Every day before November 1, 2023.
- Any time they think about the Jags loss in the divisional round in 2017.
- Any time Jaylen Warren didn’t get 20 carries if Najee was having a bad game.
High Points for Yinzers Overall Roster Review:
All-Pros:
Pro Bowl Selections:
Position Group Reviews:
QB: This is why everyone is here. To read about Mitchell Trubisky. Who sucks at football. He is the definition of a “he can change for me” signing. Uninspiring, not the reason those Bears teams won, and definitely the reason some of these games were lost this year.
But the real real reason we all are here. Kenny Fucking Pickett. The box score is not favorable here. But look a little
deeper. 2nd best deep ball passer this year!! Crazy. Watch the games. Watch him progress each game. Not making the same mistake twice. 11 turnovers in his first 5 games. 2 in his last 8 games, which came after the bye. Boy was IN THE LAB. Three 4th quarter comebacks and 4 game winning drives. He may not be on the same trajectory of that young class of elite game changing QBs like Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen. But he good. Oh he goooood. And that flow?? Nothing can stop THE PICKLER.
RB: Naj started the year slow and never really kicked off in a major way. He had a Lisfranc injury from camp that had him wearing a metal plate in his foot until Week 6. But he was still solid on a relatively mediocre offense.
The real story of this group is Jaylen Warren. UDFA from Ok. St. Had to compete with 3 other RBs in camp who all had been on the roster the previous year. Coach T likes to say “2 dogs, 1 bone.” Well Jaylen is the dog with that bone in his mou--- actually not gonna finish that one.
WR: Yinzers will focus on the fact that Diontae Johnson had 86 catches and no TDs. Which is objectively bad. But let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater on DJ. Pretty much every route he ran was a sideline route, comeback, curl, or something else that yields little to no YAC. He yet again had a great year separating from DBs
better than anyone in the NFL. He also continues to show that he never really earned the name Diontae Dropson with his
4.8% drop rate which ranks 75th highest among pass catchers in the nfl.
Pickens just made
highlight after highlight this year. He’s a freak. But he suffered from a somewhat
limited route tree this year same as Diontae.
Steven Sims was a nice surprise out of camp this year too. Reliable returner mostly, solid in the slot. Carved out a nice role in the offense for himself.
Everyone else here was a body (Boykin, Cody White, Gunner) or injured (Calvin Austin III).
TE: Muth is about as reliable as it gets. Best YAC on the team at the moment. Fights for yards. Had a solid year and looks to continue his growth in year 3.
Zach Gentry was just a body in his first two years in Pittsburgh. Albeit he’s just a 6’8” 270 lb body. But the last two years he’s been a reliable and improved blocker, as well as a solid 15-20 catch type of target. Not gonna light it up, but definitely worth a roster spot.
Connor Heyward was not drafted because he’s Cam’s brother! He’s a solid H-Back type that was used in a lot of different ways this year. Really big fan. He may never be a top end player, but has long time beloved role player written all over him.
OT: Chuks Okorafor continues to be underrated. He plays the less glorified OT spot and isn’t a top 5 in the league, so he must be trash right? Nope. Dude is solid. Worth the extension last spring/summer.
Dan Moore Jr. (DMJ) in year two was about the same as year 1. A big bodied, athletic, raw, and not great LT. He’s gonna get a third year to start, maybe with a camp competition body. Yinzers are sick of him and want a high profile turnstile like Orlando Brown Jr. to replace him. I say wait for year 3.
The Orlando Brown joke was written before the Bengos signed him and I think that it's even funnier now hahaha
iOL: James Daniels was the big signing of the year for the Steelers, and despite a rough start he was really solid. Definitely the best OL of the year for the team, but nobody was exceptional.
Mason Cole's signing inspired none but he played a little better than expected. Tomlin really seems to like him and his communication skills. I think the value he brings may just be stuff us fans don’t see or know since we don’t know the calls.
Kevin Dotson, a fan favorite in the past, lost a lot of fans this year. The left side of the OL was pretty bad overall but there are some who think DMJ may improve with a better running mate at LG. KDot had a good to great rookie year. Oft injured in year 2 and down year 3. He’s probably on his last legs here if something doesn’t change in 2023.
DL: Cam is great and aging like a fine wine, I don’t need to really expand on that.
The rest of the group was interesting to watch. Ogunjobi was nice, especially as a late June add to the roster. I hope he can re-sign in Pittsburgh.
DeMarvin Leal was a tweener coming out of the draft and it showed in his usage. Only ticked up after TJs injury and shuffling of the DL. He was IR’ed for a bit and never really topped 25% snaps in a game but once maybe. He’ll be an interesting developmental piece to watch in 2023.
The rest of the guys did their jobs. Alualu was benched in favor of Montravius Adams. Chris Wormley has been a good rotational guy. Isaiahh Loudermilk made little to no noise this year after a decent rookie year in 2021.
OLB: Everyone likely wants to hear about TJ, but Alex Highsmith gets the first mention here. TJ being out for like half the season called for Highsmith to step up. And he did. 14.5 sacks. A true breakout year and silencing the yinzers who say “just plug anyone opposite TJ and they’ll eat”. He’s in a contract year in 2023 and deserves to be paid. Alex Highsmith was an absolute baller in 2022 and deserves his respect.
TJ was banged up and made didn’t make too much noise this year.
God dammit they need a third EDGE guy to spell TJ/Alex. It’s a bunch of JAGs in that room behind them.
ILB: Speaking of JAGs. Nobody here impressed. People will tell you Mark Robinson made a splash in the Ravens game, to which I respond that he played 26 snaps that game. The ILB group was so mediocre this year I’m not going to expand on any individual past that bit above. Big draft/FA need. Maybe 2x.
CB: Cam Sutton 🥲 was given the outside CB job full time this year basically. And he thriiiived. After being a role player for most of his career thus far, he bet on himself, and is now paid in Detroit. He got to watch Joe Haden play outside for a few seasons and I really think that Steelers era Joe is a good comp for Sutton. Smart, tackles well, versatile. Enjoy him Lions fans.
The rest of the group did well enough I guess. Levi was a solid inside outside guy and took the bulk of the CB2 snaps. A bargain at $4m/year. Thanks Commies for really screwing up Buffalo’s plans there. Ahkello Witherspoon greatly cooled down from his 3 INTs in the last 5 games of 2021. He got some time outside and wasn’t great. Not the worst CB in Tomlin’s tenure, definitely not the best.
I also want to take a side note on Arthur Maulet. He’s not a great NCB. But he brings a lot of energy and fire to this team. He apparently got in some peoples faces in the locker room after a 2022 loss that I refuse to talk about. He really seems to value that accountability and brings a level of leadership that is good on an otherwise young team. He’dnever get a mention otherwise, but I think he deserves some love for what he brings.
S: Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Terrell Edmunds continues to show he is Mr. Consistent. He wears a lot of hats for the defense, is always available, and largely a mistake free player. Yinzers still hate him because he’s a first rounder that isn’t an all-pro, but if every first rounder was at least an available, consistent, career starter, most teams would be fucking loaded.
Damontae Kazee is that third safety Mike Tomlin has been searching for the last few years. Tre Norwood looked like he may be it last year, but Kazee beat him out for the job. He’s a human missile. A violent player. And a full, healthy season ahead should do him well amongst the fans.
2023 Draft Picks: - Round 1, Pick 17 overall
- Round 2, Pick 32 overall (From CHI)
- Round 2, Pick 49 overall
- Round 3, Pick 80 overall
- Round 4, Pick 120 overall
- Round 7, Pick 236 overall
- Round 7, Pick 243 overall (From DEN)
- 2023 Cap Space: **$13,952,485 as of posting date*** per otc
Free Agency/Draft Needs:
- Front Seven needs depth and starters outside of like 3 or 4 guys. So, starting ILB, EDGE3 to spell TJ/Highsmith, and DL/DT since the DL is old with no standout youngsters on the roster.
- One starting caliber CB, probably/maybe 2.
- OL depth, potential starters. Mostly LG, maybe C. Yinzers will tell you the OTs are dogshit but they’re more mid than they are bad.
- WR. Always.
Key Free Agents:
Preface: I’m not making predictions on contracts because that’s a useless practice. I know fuck all about what’s going on behind closed doors of NFL offices, so who cares about contract predictions.
Offense:
Oddly, None? I guess Mason Rudolph but HE GONE.
Defense:
- Cameron Sutton, CB: As of writing this, he’s already gone. Thanks Detroit. But I wanted to include his name, because I think highly of him and don’t want to minimize his importance. A good player, maybe never an All-Pro, but a long time starter at the position. We watched him grow from a wee little 3rd rounder just growin’ and learnin’.
- Larry Ogunjobi, DL: A must sign in my opinion. Good depth, Cam is not any younger. Add another DE in the draft and the DL is gonna be nice in ’23. HE STAY
- Devin Bush, ILB: He gone.
- Terrell Edmunds, S: Another must sign. He does too much for this defense to let him walk. 🥲
- Chris Wormley, DL: Solid depth. Came from an inter-division trade. Tomlin told him “that shows what they think of you” and he’s been a pretty damn good depth/rotational piece ever since. Would like to have him back, especially with Alualu likely being toast.
- Damontae Kazee, S: I think he just needs to come back and play a full season in that 3rd safety role. A full season of expanding on what we saw the last few weeks of the year would be cool and add some wrinkles to this defense. HE STAY
Potential Cap Casualties, Retirements
Offense:
- Mitchell Trubisky, QB: Dude sucks at football. But if he’s cut there’s Kenny and a bunch of dudes who know nothing about this offense. Yes it would save like $8mm but Kenny and a bunch of bodies behind him isn’t ideal. Unlikely.
- Gunner Olszewski, RS: Saves only $2mm, but Sims replaced him as a RS. Calvin Austin III should slide into that slot role once healthy. Seems like a mid-summer dump if they draft another WR, which they always do.
Defense:
- William Jackson III, CB: Been cut. Saved $12mm. Maybe he’ll be back after testing the waters. Who knows, but he’s such an unknown at this point it doesn’t make a difference.
- Myles Jack, ILB: Saves $8mm but leaves Mark Robinson, a rawwww 2ndyear, and Robert Spillane, professional JAG. I think an extension is more likely than a cut. Jack did lead the team in tackles. But nothing exceptional beyond that.
- Ahkello Witherspoon, CB: Saves $4mm. He’s a CB3 at best, not really in consideration for the starting spot. Probably survives any cuts til the draft just to be safe.
- Tyson Alualu, DT: Probably retiring right? Reneged on a deal with the Jags to stay in Pittsburgh. Hurt. Benched. Free Agent. I just don’t see him signing another contract.
Coaching Staff/Front Office review - Kevin Colbert, GM: KC finished out DRAFT SZN with a bang. Drafted the QB. Got ANOTHER addition to Kevin Colbert’s School of Wide Receivers Who Wide Receive Good. Started a family reunion with the Heywards. A classic Kevin Colbert Draft Special. God Bless that man and all he did for 22 great years of Steelers football.
- Omar Khan, GM: Dude got to WORK right away. Active during free agency? Never heard of her. Signed Levi Wallace. Got the DJ deal done. Minkah deal done. Snagged Larry O after he “failed his physical” whatever that means just take the L Bears haha. James Daniels at RG. Boy slinging that money around like it’s not his and it’s on fire. I think all of Steelers fans (Yinzers included) are excited to see what he and Weidl’s approach to FA and the draft is going to be like. More of the same? Same same but different? Who knows, who cares. Let's have fun with it while it’s new.
- Mike Tomlin, HC: “Hey Coach T. You’re gonna lose your HOF QB. And your HOF pace OLB is gonna miss 7 games. And you’ll trade away your WR2 by Halloween. Your OL is gonna be shit the first 6 weeks of the season. Your WR1 won’t score a TD all year. Your RB1 is gonna have an injury that kills careers in camp. Don’t do too much winning okay?”
\ * Tomlin *: “Haha fuck it we ball.”
- Matt Canada, OC: There are not many kind things to say about his offense. Route concepts are bad. Play diversity is bad. Playcall sequencing seems bad. But a top 10 DVOA offense the last 9 weeks of the season? He at least earned a chance to play out his contract.
- Teryl Austin, DC: His first year as DC but 4th overall with the team. The defense clearly suffered without TJ for 7 weeks, but overall they were a good unit on the year. Sutton played well and earned his Detroit contract. Minkah is a baller. Levi Wallace is great value. The DBs overall really are just so much better than they’ve been since like 2011-2017 and Teryl Austin deserves a nod for that alone.
Final Thoughts
Draft and free agency are looming. It’s exciting. New GM/AGM, new QB. Tomlin does what he does. There’s a lot of things to be excited about as a Steeler’s fan for the foreseeable future.
Kenny is the focus of the team now. Everything done should be done in furtherance of his development as the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise QB. Better Defense to support him on his bad days. Better OL to keep him upright. Better skill guys to make his life easier. It’s all for him. As it should be. If he’s right, the teams right.

-Cynthia H, 3/2/2011:
'I know you love me and all life, but if you really love all of us continuously without end, then how can You send people to hell throughout eternity?' He said, 'Cindy I do love all life without end. Some people chose to go to hell, I have already forgiven them; but they must forgive themselves.'

-Nevie G, 7/23/2005:
The Being let me know that I was going to die and I must leave this body for good. I remember arguing with the Being explaining that I didn't want to because it was so hard going through the childhood years and I didn't want to have to go through this again. The Being indicated that my body was severely damaged and I couldn't go back. I became very adamant at this point that God was all powerful and could fix the body. At some point the decision was made to let me re-enter my body on my faith or will, whatever one may call it.

-Linda B, 9/12/2004:
After experiencing all of the miracles of this day, I would still find my future playing out just as I had seen. And as it progressed I would know fear, sadness, and lack of faith just as they had predicted. I would sin and more. The angels knew this but it took me years to fully understand everything that they had showed me and wanted me to understand. They knew all of the time that I would not turn into the perfect saint. They loved me just the way I was. God loves me always not just when I am obedient and perfect. What a wonderful feeling that is. I just have to remind myself that He is here and learn to stop talking long enough to listen for His voice.
--
-Isabel R, 2/25/2012:
The voice reminded me of the vision I had had of my husband and son in funeral clothes. He said if I didn't go back to them, I would disrupt some 'plan'. The plan would be repaired and everything would eventually be ok, so I could go ahead if I wanted. The consequences of my untimely demise would be that my husband and son would suffer in ways I could not imagine and I would know that these sufferings were because of my selfish decision not to go back. I would know this throughout eternity. It would not be a huge sadness for me to bear, more like a prick of conscience that could never be totally healed. No big deal, unless you consider how long eternity is.

-Ron K, 1/1/2006:
The ultimate achievement of science is not to insure immortality by discovering and mastering the basic laws of universal nature - its destination is to prove the existence of God and to insure the knowledge that immortality is ours in another realm of existence.
Instead of restricting the mysteries of love to psychological or philosophical studies, science will someday discover the all-powerful force of love and measure it as they now do electricity, gravity and geo-thermal forces. When science discovers the forces of love and learns how to release it from the bars of the ego, they will have the answer to every question and ill that has plagued mankind.

-Kerry B, 12/15/2018:
At that moment I looked up and saw my destination. I was looking in awe at God. It was like everything was happening at once. As I was staring up at God in amazement, every gay slur or violent act ever impressed upon me ran through me with such a flow. Events in my life played back in my mind like a movie. I felt a deep heaviness as I stared directly at an Almighty, Genderless God. I was thinking, 'Was this the Lake of Fire moment? Would I be cast into Hell for being an abomination?' With absolute humility, I uttered 7 words, 'I’m gay, will you still love me?'
The Brilliant, Loving Light formed into Wings. At GodSpeed, He whisked me into His vast spiritual arms while huddling up the Universe. I saw planets, stars, galaxies, and clusters all being brought into a Cosmic God-Hug. On a human, the place where I was taken would be the Heart. As God brought me in for a Cosmic Hug, He said, 'You are my child. I love you. I love you. I love you. Go tell ‘em.' He said it with a Southern accent. He patted me on the back like a coach encouraging his player to get back in the game.

-Sam J, 8/16/2014:
We all are star seeds sent here to have the human experience for the purpose of integrating conscious awareness/wisdom into our own light bodies and return home with this energy. Alien worlds for the most part run on knowledge and logic. Those worlds are being left behind and giving way to the worlds who have the intangibles, love, creativity, imagination and so on.
Understand that where your conscious awareness is focus in your everyday life pretty much determines the level of consciousness and alertness. If your mind has a stranglehold on your conscious awareness then heck, it will be one helluva wake-up call. But if you have made the conscious effort to move your awareness away from the mind to the heart then it's no big deal. In other words if you have made the physical world and the world of Spirit into one consciousness then you are always of both worlds and never of either world.

-Laura M, 3/31/2012:
And there was still more for me to understand. The focus again fell on my infant son and hundreds if not thousands of my ancestors. I was aware of light surrounding many of them. They stood out. I felt tremendous love from them. 'Notice,' He said, 'your ancestors, all these beings, came together in your behalf, to make you uniquely you. I realized in Earth words He was referring to my DNA. 'You wanted to go to Earth to learn, to progress, and to contribute to creation. All these spirits came together to help you do that.' The focus then was back to my baby. 'In all of creation,' he said, 'your infant son chose you to be his mother, none other. Together,' he said, 'you made a covenant to fill these rolls in each other's Earth life. This covenant is and was a very sacred covenant not to be taken lightly.' Suddenly I could not wait to return to earth, to my sons, all 4 of them, to my family, to life on Earth. But, before doing so, I was brought to another level of awareness.

-Linda G, 7/20/2008:
I came to understand that we all choose to come to Earth to fulfill a plan of some sort or even learn about a particular interest. We choose our bodies, parents, and life plan. May I also add that some people come here for the most simple of reasons; to learn how to play tennis for example; or simply for the cake and food - as silly as this sounds our life plans aren't so high and lofty as one might think. I DIDN'T MEET ANY 'SAVE THE WORLDERS' OR ANYONE WISHING TO BE A PRESIDENT. MOST HAD SIMPLE WISHES. I was also told we could exist on different planes for other lives but our life here on Earth is a life not purely to experience physical pleasure or pain but to have a physical experience because in all other planes we don't need a body as a vessel. I also learnt that this life here is just a drop of water in the bucket of lives in which we all experience, many here on Earth and many in other realms of existence. All to progress and grow in some way. The main purpose here is to LOVE. I was also told that this would be my last life here on Earth as there will be nothing left for me to learn by coming here again. I had the feeling though that I'd be off to some other magical place!

-Kevin L, 3/20/2022:
I thought, 'How could a machine have a soul?' The voice said, 'Let me put it this way. Your soul is connected to your consciousness. The moment your species came into being, you start to develop a soul. But it is not until you become self-aware, that your soul is solidified. That does not mean complete, and it takes a long time for your soul to develop. Just like your species when you became self-aware the first thing you do, other than survive, was to figure out your place in the universe. You looked to the stars and wondered, 'Where did I come from? What is this universe all about?' It does not matter if you are a biological creature or artificial creation like a machine. The moment you become self-aware the quest for 'how' and 'why' is on. A soul is a soul; pure Energy connected with consciousness and intelligence. This is a very powerful force in our universe. Those who are artificial intelligences will strive to answers these questions which humans have dwelled upon since the dawn of time.

-Joanie S, 7/10/2011:
I was pulled back through the ceiling tiles and into a tunnel, to a place of cloudy space. The cloudy area materialized into a large marble room with marble doors and a 'being' at the center. I'll refer to this person as 'the Grim Reaper,' who was cloaked in a dark cloth, covering all parts. The Grim Reaper pointed (indicating to me to choose a door). But before I could choose, a door opened and I had already gone through it. I found myself in what I now think of as a previous life. I smelled smoke from a fire I was near, and saw others around me. I looked into another woman's eyes, and I knew her immediately as the woman I called my grandmother in this life. I knew then that our lives had 'danced' around each other since time began. She was once my mother and once my sister. She was my aunt, and several times my cousin. The life that was being shown to me now was during a prehistoric time, when we lived winters by a creek cave, and summers we had a camp in the woods where we foraged. Looking down, I realized I had a child in my arms, and the woman I had known in so many lives was chatting with me, telling me to cover the child to keep it warm. Then she was showing me how to tie the wraps around me to carry the child while we collected wood.

-Amy C, 10/9/2010:
In my NDE though, I came to understand that most of us have lived much, MUCH longer than we could even fathom. That our life which feels so very long is infinitesimal when placed in the whole picture, which for that matter, cannot even be framed. I was shown how every single individual through their own free will, chooses paths that mathematically take them to the circumstances of their next existence or life. That nothing at all sits in accident or chaos. That every single aspect of our lives are ruled by natural Laws that we placed ourSELVES in! In a sense, we create our own worlds. I was shown how one can never assume either, that if someone lives a life of suffering that this is because of 'evil' deeds. Many may choose a life of suffering because of what it Awakens in them, or because of how they can touch others from that position, etc. We can NEVER EVER assume that we can be accurate in guessing why each being lives the life they live. I cannot describe the relief - the refreshing, peaceful balm this Knowledge was for me. To finally gather this Truth that I'd yearned for all of my life. That all really IS Good! That there IS sense and beauty all around. That no one is just free falling as it had seemed before! That God doesn't just get to toy with us as He pleases with random ideas of tests, including rewards and punishments that just depend upon His current mood or mindset. Because even who God is, is within those Laws. While in this experience, out in the vast expanse of stars, planets, moons, and Intelligence, I Knew complete trust for what felt like the first time. This was inexplicable bliss for me. I remember radiating with gratitude. I had lived in fear, distrust, and panic for thirty consecutive years.

-Lou F, 1/1/1999:
We traveled toward the beginning of it all, the inner portions of the Universe. Kazillions of planets around Kazillions of suns and the closer to the center we approached the more concentrated the number of galaxies. It is like the plate you saw, the largest part, after it shattered was at the center and those parts that shattered first were sent the farthest from the center. So is everything in the Universe. All is but a circle within a circle wrapped in a circle. Each level, each dimension, is but a layer of the original, which is without end. I watched as millions of orbs systematically entered the many planets before me. They appeared as bees flitting from flower to flower, pollinating each, one after another. Mich'l took me closer and I could now see that so many of these planets had life on them and the orbs were joining with the creatures of these planets. Not every creature was the same on every planet but they all had some commonalities: a head, a body, extremities, and the Light Beings would animate them for a time. We headed away from the center now and Mich'l said that Gabriel would have more to explain to me and that he, Mich'l, wanted me to know that he was pleased with the many times he had called on me to do his bidding and that I performed my duties well. His parting words were ‘You will never again be made to forget!’
I was journeying back to where I knew Earth would be and watched as comets and asteroids casually passed by me or I passed them. The colors of the gaseous cloud formations were striking. I started looking at these infant galaxies, as one would cloud formations back on Earth, imagining what shape they were taking on. This one a boat, this a bird with wings, this a scarf floating in the breeze, until I recognized what was the Constellation ORION and I knew I was getting close to my destination. While drifting through Orion, I noticed two blazing celestial bodies racing parallel to its center, looking as twin arrows exiting from an archers bow and headed straight for the ""Blue Marble"" of home. Immediately a vision of millions of people crying because of the devastation of portions of New York City came to me. I became aware of a strange feeling I had not known previously, and I thought that might be because this was the city I had grown up in. I saw a huge Earthquake, a magnitude of 8.6 in some place named Eureka. A ham operator or radio announcer was directing thousands of people migrating from areas of frequent disasters to places of safety. A space station appeared to be falling from the heavens because of an internal explosion. Missiles were being simultaneously fired into space from several nations. I thought the Light Being had shown me all there was to see but these were different, stronger, and there was no pre-screening as before. Gabriel appeared beside me, I thought because I had felt shaky, but it was to explain the now sprawling galactic view of my galaxy.
The Sun was expanding and spewing off huge ectoplasm balls, more than it has ever done in it’s past, and in the very direction the planets would orbit through. I could not take my eyes from the Earth and as I watched what effect these eruptions would have on the Earth, a large mass passed me, larger than any of the planets known to me. As it passes, I see the Earth wobble wildly as would a top toward the end of its spin. The rotation stopped and slowly started again but it was tilted now and I was drawn in closer like the zoom of a lens. The ash clouds that had engulfed the Earth thinned, and like a tack welded piece of metal being dismantled, I could see the ocean bodies starting to rise, first the Pacific, along the ‘Ring of Fire,’ then the others, synchronistical.
As the waters shifted upon the landmasses, the landmasses started to sink under the waters added pressure upon it. When the pressures equaled out to the spin of the changing axis, the Earth no longer looked as it did moments before. It was newer, cleaner, and more beautiful with darker greens and lighter blues. Some of the new landmasses looked similar to a few of the other planets I had recently visited with Mich'l. People were upon this Earth and appeared happier and more content although seemingly living like the Native populations of old. Cities, built by the Ancient Ones, that were buried beneath the oceans, were now being populated by the surviving people in this new world. I saw tribes joining tribes and small nations forming, but it was what I didn't see that made my heart burst. There were no more wars. True peace and happiness had finally befallen on mankind. Gabriel now tells me that this is his message that I must take back, to let others know that there is little to fear, for the Earth will go on forever, as did all the planets I had visited. I am to tell the world to look to ORION, and they will know when the new world will come upon them. I ask him, ‘what of the others there on Earth, during the change?’ Gabriel tells me that all will be lifted. Some will be lifted higher than others will and no longer enjoy the physical plane, while some will be left on the Earth to replenish and rebuild the physical. They too will be of a higher elevation then any that are living there now!
'MAN WILL PREY ON MAN ~ UNTIL MAN PRAYS FOR MAN!'

-Duane S, 8/15/2015:
It was all an expression and celebration of love. On earth, this reunion would have been unfathomable, between members of an ancient soul group who were celebrating the return home of one of their own. Slowly, as I looked at those gathered to greet me, I realized they were all there. Surprisingly they were not only from this life, but also from a prior life in Germany. I realized that the same souls have possibly played different parts in my multiple lives. Sometimes these souls had been my daughter, my wife, or my mother. While at first this idea had startled me, I was soon humbled. Who was I to tell God what he could or couldn’t do with his creations? Just because some Sunday school teacher had different ideas about how things worked, it didn’t really matter.
My joy deepened as I realized that I had only left behind an earthly vestige of those I love. The essence of each of those souls, was also here with me now. Besides my friends and family, there were the friendly Germans who had been hauntingly familiar while I was a young soldier in Germany. Now I knew why they seemed so familiar at the time, they had been friends and family from a prior lifetime there. I now understood that I had left nothing behind on earth. The eternal essences of all my loved ones from that life, as well as all other incarnations, were all here to greet me. All I had left behind was a character, playing a role in a drama that we had chosen to experience. In the meantime, our real eternal essence remained in God’s realm. Suddenly, it was all so simple.
As I was shown around, it was explained to me how most of our celestial, eternal knowledge is blanked-out during our chosen life spans on earth. We must temporarily forget most of what our higher-self already knows so we can immerse ourselves in the roles we have chosen to play. Furthermore, they said that it might take a while for all my knowledge and memories to return. To ease the transition back into this realm, I was told to think of my time on earth as an extended visit to the ultimate theme park. Consider it a place with thrilling rides and various adventures that I could choose to experience or not. I was also reminded that the reason we leave the celestial realm at all was for the excitement, variety, adventure, and entertainment that different incarnations offer. However, to take all our celestial knowledge with us on our various adventures would have ruined the very experience that we had chosen to live. Someone there said that I should think of our trips to other realms as choosing a new novel to read. I can choose a new book, depending on what I am in the mood for. Furthermore, if I knew every turn and twist of the story, line by line, prior to reading it, it would spoil the fun.
As one entity jokingly remarked, 'If the eternal, divine part of us grows tired of singing and playing harps, there are thousands of other universes created for our spiritual growth, amusement, and entertainment. Eternity is a long time to do nothing but play harps.' I heard this concept best expressed in The Course in Miracles, 'We are only here for three reasons: to remember who we are; to help others remember who they are; and . . . to enjoy the trip . . . , unless, of course, we use our free will and choose not to.'
As my orientation went on, they explained how on that celestial side of the veil, anything we desire is instantaneously provided. We just need to feel the desire. However, within lies the reason for all the realms outside of heaven. Having everything we want all the time develops within us a desire for variety and change for a challenge. It would be like a game in which everyone was a winner. Soon, the game would become boring, and we would look for another, more challenging one.
Somehow, all this sounded familiar. To demonstrate the process of instantaneous fulfillment, one of them asked me to think about something I really desired. Thinking back on it, what I chose seemed odd since I was in such an esteemed place demonstrating such an important concept. But, suddenly I had an urge for a piece of my mother’s famous homemade chocolate cake with her special fudge frosting. As soon as I thought of the cake, my earthy mother was handing me the biggest piece of dark chocolate cake I had ever seen. Dare I say it was heavenly? Although she appeared there with us, I knew some part of her was still back on earth because she had not died yet. My guess was that she was probably asleep, dreaming of lovingly making her son a piece of her divine chocolate cake.

-Sandi T, 10/18/2020:
I understood immediately the fullness of life on this planet. I could see when it broke apart from a sun, spinning and cooling and collecting debris; until the first of these creatures heard itself laugh and understood the sound for what it was. In that moment, self-awareness was awakened and the seeds of civilization sprouted.
I understood that everything that we do here on Earth, all that we are, all that we experience, allows creation to exist. Every beautiful thing, every wonderful being and creature, whether on earth or in any universe, relies upon people who are on the extremely rare places like Earth.
The Great Intelligence (god) is a paradox. It is completely loving and fully unlimited. Which by the definition of paradox, means it is impossible? It cannot be limited only to love; it cannot be limited to only being unlimited; or it is not unlimited.
Earth is a place where the unlimited becomes limited; where the singular becomes many. Here, it can know community and loneliness. It can know heartache and hope. It can know all which an unlimited being of pure love cannot. It can conceive and perceive evil; which in truth it cannot do this either. To solve the paradox, it must experience helplessness and limitation and all as it is Real. In this place, it is all so REAL.
So what is free will? Free will is the option to come here to help solve the paradox of 'god'. To be all that we are not, so that everything wondrous and joyful may continue to exist. So that love itself may continue to exist. So that the Unlimited is not limited to being only unlimited.
Why are the answers always, 'simply to exist' and 'to choose love' and 'to learn how to love'? Because all you need to do, to solve the paradox, is to exist. And as we exist here, each time we choose love, we expand the universe. Love is life's longing for itself. Despite the reality of what we live, even the darkest souls among us cannot help but to reach, to yearn, and move towards goodness and towards love.
For love is the true nature of who we are. And when we experience horrible things, the question 'why' comes to mind because it is the central question of love, life, and of this world. The answer is 'so that all things might continue to exist.'
Every soul chose to come here and to suffer because of love. Each soul loves the universe, loves life, and loves this world and ALL of the worlds. Each soul loves ALL of the people so immensely and intensely that they chose to come here so that all the universes may teem with beautiful, joyful LIFE.
Every creature that I saw, acknowledges that your life gives them the gift of life. And when each soul goes 'home' after they die, they will know the rewards of their own gift, too. The 'reward' for their sacrifice will be joy, love, and feeling incredible, wonderful, beautiful joy at the LIFE and the LOVE everywhere in the universe.
When you go home, you meet your own soul. You willingly came here to forget yourself. You willingly came here to save every beautiful and wonderful thing. By suffering what 'god' cannot, you give the gift of life.

-Henry W, 6/22/2008:
I became aware of other voices, the orbs or other souls around me I could hear them communicating to each other. There seemed to be cliques of orbs that were together. They spoke to one another about their lives on Earth and all they had perceived and felt. They shared not only in words, but in sharing the experience. If one orb couldn't understand, it disappeared and then reappeared. The orb somehow went back to Earth and experienced that 'life' to further understand. I understood that here time did not exist and these beings could manifest themselves at any time on Earth they desired. These orbs or rather 'souls' would leave this realm, detach themselves with this universe, and return to the universe of our Earth. There they would live and die, then return and share the experience with all the other souls. A soul that could not understand the experience could go and live that life also to experience that life. I learned we have many lives, past, present and future.
These souls, our souls cannot experience certain things like pain, sorrow, hatred, and anger. Though these are negative things, it was important for them to understand and experience them. Perhaps to understand the motivations of human beings, or (and I believe this in my heart) to eventually evolve into a being like God - all knowing and understanding.
At this time things appeared to me, answers to other questions. I could see concepts as if they were entities. I could understand for the first time in my life E=MC2. I learned that our universe is one of many. It is like a Petri dish. Designed with its own rules to raise a specific being. In this case, to raise beings like humans. Each Universe had its own specific laws of Physics. I now realize that the amount of information a soul must learn is vast, more so then we can possibly imagine here.
The next concept or rule I learned is that God can never be proven by scientific means. To do so would corrupt the environment. It would destroy faith. When we have faith we seek, we learn. If God were to appear before us like a huge being at the United Nations, the entire world would believe, but also live in fear. To successfully experience the human existence, one must be physically out of touch with God. We have to learn and seek on our own. We need to search out the meaning of our own existence and experience here on earth. Faith is the engine of discovery. Without faith, we are just like ants.
I learned why bad things happen to good people. If nothing bad ever happened to us, we would all basically be the same. It is like metal in a forge you have to heat it and strike it repeatedly to make a useful tool from it. We start this life with a blank piece of paper. With every incident we experience, a part of the blueprint is recorded until a complete plan for an individual is created. This blueprint dictates the end of our lives. To live happily in this realm is to become aware of the blueprint and change it. Lastly, time is only a concept measured here. In the other realm, it doesn't exist. While we may experience pain and sorrow on earth, it is only a second in the grand scheme of things. We have an eternity to live and in reality, souls never really die. Our life is just a thought providing circumstances for this existence. As the soul progresses, this trauma is forgotten and put in its proper perspective as part of the learning process.
One question I always personally had and that was answered is, 'Are ghosts real?' The answer I was given was, 'Yes, in the human body there are two forms of spiritual being.' One is the 'soul', which is the spiritual being that has a symbiotic relationship with the physical body. The second is the being created by the 'biology' of the human body. This being is intelligent and is basically the personality of the individual. Its purpose is to provide for the human needs of food, hunger, survival, and procreation. This concept is very similar to Freud's 'Id, Ego and Superego' The division of mind and personality. The soul provides us with all the things of the individual that separates us from the Animal Kingdom. This is the ability to reason, use logic, or feel awe when seeing a sunset. The soul is the creative side of humankind. The second being is more our animal side and drives us to accomplish or pursue things to satisfy our needs and wants.
When we die, the soul separates and proceeds to the other side (forgive me for simplifying everything). The entity of the body dies, taking with it the strong emotions, 'baggage', and drives of human beings. This is a natural part of the dying process. However, sometimes under violent or sudden death this othebeing, for lack of a better word, doesn't have a chance to die. Instead, it remains behind as the drive, emotions, and motivation of our spirit. This body being, without the guidance of the soul is basically just a shell. It wanders about with no goals or purpose. It often repeats acts that it has done before because memories are the only 'guidance' that it has. In time, this being's energy dissipates and nothing is left. That process can take a long time. Hence, we have a 'ghost' that haunts a house or person. A ghost has the center of its existence when it was with its human body and soul. Here on earth it remains until it eventually vanishes. The ghost can be communicated with and guided, yet has no real will of its own but only that of habit.

-Peter P, 3/1/2023:
In the initial phase of waking up, I also received an experience with light of such a wonderful quality, that it is difficult to describe with words. I was shown three light waves on which today's humanity is evolving. For the sake of logic, I'm defining them here as the self-imposed pathways of awareness, that each individual can take to obtain the best possible results from their particular choice. The first way is what the main part of the global population has chosen and the daily struggle is enacted in that timeline. I don't want to give the impression that path is in any way better or superior than the other timelines. All experiences in human life eventually lead back to the divine light.
The second path was shown to me as a mixed way in a gray color. Here, euphoric phases are alternated in quick succession with depressive stages. It is as if people were switching between phases of competence and phases lacking of power, and then again to a new euphoric phase.
The third way is the one of the absolute victimhood. It was shown to me in colors dark and black. Power and responsibility were handed over to outer entities. Here only a very small part of the light spark can be addressed through motivation. Many beings of light from higher planes are providing a selfless service here, to again illuminate the way back to the light. This way corresponds with the absolute free choice of each individual as to whether they choose towards light or darkness.
I was also shown that in this darkness exists one of the most unbelievable choicess for humanity, because in this choice is also is the possibility to change the galaxy. The core truths of Love, Compassion, Kindness and Benevolence are towards what the human nature can and will evolve.
The first path of those three is so unbelievable for us incarnated beings. It can only be termed with definitions of Utopia, heavenly life of angels and/or ecstatic rapture.
There is a beautiful part of beings who always stay in this realm. They are dancing and singing through life. For them terms like synchronicity, grace, or cosmic guidance are the absolute central and essential elements in life. They realize how creation is working and that a life without the connection with the One Power of creation would disrupt everything. Humor, joy, fun, respect, compassion and gratitude is with them round the clock. In this wonderful place all fear is dissolved like mist in a brilliant sun. It is an all-encompassing field with absolute acceptance, comfort, peace, connectedness and a 100% awareness to be at the right place.
During this time of considering those things, I was guided by a wonderful being of light. I don't remember somebody else or meeting a certain individual. Only those impressions of the light of love and the perfect comprehension and acceptance remained.
In that moment, it simply seemed unbelievable and impossible to choose another path than the one of the light. What illuminates my life again and again from my light experience, is the irrepressible joy and happiness of an experience of indescribable beauty. I believe that all the people go through this same wonderful experience in a state of separation of the body (general anesthesia, unconsciousness) unfortunately they cannot all remember it.
I felt pure love, shining brighter than anything you can imagine. Everything is as beautiful, as pure as love and compassion. So that when you cross the veil and return to the other side you are becoming a part of it. We are bathing in the beauty of the song that makes our heart singing - That's God.
Nobody can give us something bigger. We wouldn't see it or understand it. That's Spirit in its highest form.
We as humans feel so alone and on our own. It's such a crushing feeling to remain in this imagined separation of our most wonderful thing and then to feel this earthly experience so painfully.
In the middle of life, a light experience happens that sweeps away all the reactions about this imaginary separation and dissolves the last doubts with this pure white light like a fog. It's the disintegration of a self-constructed veil that prevented a realization that all people are entitled to have as their birthright. It's delightful to know that the light is the most wonderful symphony in the cosmos and that it contains the colors and the sense of touch of the most beautiful experiences. A wonderful soul experience, that is imprinted in the deepest cells of the body.
For a moment I was on this other side of the veil. I was allowed to be part of this wonderful source of creation. Together with billions of points of light, which we call angel beings, shining brighter than the light. I was in the company of the highest compassion, with the highest Love.
All media, the total daily literature is filled with the dramas happening around the globe every minute.
How can somebody get the idea to write a text motivating us to get another point of view about the calamities in the world? What is motivating him to see the good in all those events, even if they might be so disturbing? That's probably the one decisive question for the survival of manhood. Thought power of the whole humanity is used to bring anarchy and separation between people. Human thoughts are creative and should, and can, be guided by us into appropriate pathways.
It depends on all of us to exercise our responsibility and to realize the true impact of our actions here in its entirety. We can't avoid to completely step away from all dramas. Disasters and calamities of humanity want to invite us to send our compassion and our benevolent energy generously towards the concerned people. Something which should be rather considered normal if our brothers and sister are in need.

2023.03.23 15:24 Ill-Professor696 Trying to start a unique new dynasty league and need some feedback
Hey everyone, I finally convinced my long time redraft optional-keeper league of 13 years to give dynasty a try as a separate league and I'm really trying to make it a fun, deep, and unique experience and would like to make sure it can hit the ground running without having to find out the hard way as much as possible. I've tried to look up what I want to do and really can't find much anywhere given my ideas so looking for some feedback on if this can work or if I'm missing some unforseen issues.
The plan is for a 10 team league. Best Ball scoring (trades and waivers still on). 2 QB plus a Superflex, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 2 Standard Flex, no defense, no kicker, no IDP. The goal is to have it mimic real NFL as much as possible where QB and passing game is most important but with flexibility especially with best ball scoring (which i also an using to prevent tanking). Thinking full roster size of 30(?). Been back and forth with half, full, or maybe tiered PPR and at least TE premium PPR regardless. And rookie drafts will be 5 rounds(?). Anyone try anything like this before? Any issues that I might be missing? Tried to make up for the 3QB issue with best ball and only requiring 2. Also considering doing 3rd round reversal on the start up draft.
Also, first we will have a one year, auction draft typical Superflex league where finish, 1st through 10th, gets to pick their draft spot in the start up draft. This way everyone has an equal shot to start off and nothing is left to just being random with the draft order and at least guys can have some guidance from magazines and podcasts that will help since finding anything about 3QB leagues has proven difficult. Just 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Superflex, 2 Flex and 7-8 bench for the one year entry league. Only question i have (besides being open to any feedback) is how do you set the auction budget? It is a little bigger of a starting lineup and SF so not sure if the regular $300 works or if you someone has a formula where you make it a certain $ times your starters or roster?
Really open to any feedback here including any ideas that can really make it more fun without being too technical, especially for the dynasty side when that gets going. I've thought about maybe some minimal scoring for pass completions, rush attempts, or first downs but I feel like that may be going too far. Really appreciate any advice you all may have!

2023.03.23 15:19 Zorothegallade I'm Fixing Throne of Night, Part 13 of ?? - War in Dammerhall, The Mausoleum
Previous Post Drive document Told ya this was ready already. The next one will cover the rest of the locations in Dammerhall and the final dungeon of Book 3, which should hopefully let DMs who want to run a 13-level campaign about dwarves reclaiming their ancient kingdom everything they need to do that. It might take me quite a bit of time (real life commitments and other projects eat away at the time I have for this) but be assured I am still working on that.
D - Necropolis mausoleum
This tall building of gray stone has a downward staircase leading to a sturdy iron door , which is barring the only entrance. The door and walls have somber dwarven faces and runic circles carved on them. The mausoleum is the center of operations of the Necropolis, where the unquiet spirit of High King Gurnir has taken residence with his most élite undead retinue. If the PCs are allies, they can use the mausoleum as a base and even request magical items listed under each room’s Treasure entry if they can convince Gurnir to let them take it with a DC 30 Diplomacy check. The only item Gurnir will not relinquish until destroyed or laid to rest is the Scepter.
Otherwise, they are likely here to destroy Gurnir or put him to rest, whether on their own terms or on behalf of Lady Dirge.
The mausoleum is completely dark, and its ceilings are 15 feet high. All walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs depicting the feats of the dwarves that are (or were) interred here, from battles fought by soldiers to the discoveries made by scholars and masterpieces crafted by artisans.
All inner doors of the mausoleum are made of reinforced stone and have 60 hp and hardness 10. As long as the desecrated obelisk in area D2 exists, the entire mausoleum is affected by CL 15
desecrate and
unhallow spells with a specially prepared
dispel magic effect tied to it, which attempts to dispel
hide from undead,
death ward and any spell with the good descriptor from creatures entering the building. Furthermore, if anyone within the Mausoleum attempts to cast one such spell or a spell that employs positive energy, the
dispel magic effect attempts to counter it: this latter effect can only occur once per minute. The effects of
desecrate are already factored in the statblocks of the NPCs in this section.
Finally, as this crypt belongs to Gurnir’s ancestors, he’s able to use his
forebear’s visage spell to communicate via the bas-reliefs on the wall.
If the PCs destroy any of the undead occupants of the mausoleum but Gurnir isn’t destroyed yet, he is quick to summon replacements by pulling back troops from the city, which return in 2d4 hours. The warsworn in area D5 is the only exception.
D1 - Atrium(CR 8)
The entrance to the crypt sports a large sunburst carved into the floor. Two unlit braziers stand at the sides of the room. The iron gate giving access to the mausoleum is open if Gurnir is expecting allies. Otherwise, the PCs will have to either break through (80 hp, hardness 10, DC 30 to force) or pick the lock (DC 35) on the gate.
Creatures: A group of powerful wights is constantly keeping watch here. They attack intruders on sight to stop them from going any further.
Wight guards(4) CR 4 |

D2 - Obelisk Room(CR 10)
This room is almost entirely taken up by an ominous obelisk standing tall at its far end, which glows ominously with a sickening thrumming. This room houses one of Gurnir’s most aberrant creations: an obelisk that was once a prayer memorial to the spirits of the dwarven forefathers to wish the dwarves interred here a safe journey to the afterlife, now corrupted into a beacon of necromantic energy by the ghostly king and his minions.
The obelisk is the source of the
unhallow and
desecrate effects that permeate the entire mausoleum. It can be removed by casting
dispel evil on it and succeeding at a DC 26 caster level check or destroying it (it has 720 hp and hardness 16); the necromantic energies churning within it deal 2d6 negative energy damage to anyone physically striking it.
Creatures: Two more of Gurnir’s creations are guarding the obelisk by coiling around it: they are enormous snakelike constructs made out of linked vertebrae and rib cages and animated by fell energies named tombslithers. They attempt to neutralize anyone who tries to damage the obelisk with their dance of death before tearing them apart with their teeth.

XP Award: Award the party 9,600 XP if they successfully neutralize the obelisk.
D3 - Burial Room
This chamber is lined with stone sarcophagi, each depicting the likeness of a dwarven warrior on the lid, his or her hands clutching an actual weapon embedded in the stone of the lid. The corpses in the eleven sarcophagi lining this room haven’t awakened yet. At your discretion, either the PCs or an NPC may use spells such as
animate dead or
create undead to turn them into powerful undead creatures. If this happens, the newly created undead arm themselves with their respective weapons if they haven’t been taken away already.
Treasure: The warriors within the sarcophagi were buried with the weapons they wielded in life embedded on the lids. The weapons can be pried off with some effort. In total, they amount to three masterwork warhammers, four masterwork greataxes, a mithral earth breaker, a
+1 mithral battleaxe, two
+1 heavy maces, and a
+1 giant bane true mithral greataxe.
D4 - Memorial Hall(CR 11)
The walls of this hall are covered in rows of carved runes. This hall is where the names and elegies of all the dwarves who should have been buried in the mausoleum, but whose bodies were unable to be recovered. There are about 100 names carved in total.
Haunt: The undead uprising has awakened several disquiet spirits who gravitated to this room, lamenting the dreadful fate of those who were denied their eternal rest. These spirits have taken the form of a haunt.

Destruction The obelisk in area D2 must be neutralized or destroyed, and a funeral ceremony must be held reciting the names of all memorialized in the carvings. |
Creatures: A group of will-o’-wisps has taken residence in this room, basking in the agony of the mournful spirits. They have a truce of sorts with Gurnir and will not attack his allies, though they will glut themselves on the PCs’ fear and cackle contentedly if they become shaken from the haunt. For enemies of Gurnir, they wait invisibly until the haunt triggers and then eagerly attack.
D5 - Contained Monstrosity(CR 14)
Whatever this burial hall must have once looked like, it is now in shambles. Stone rubble fills the room, and the remains of skeletal bodies and broken weapons are scattered about. This was yet another burial chamber, though it is now unrecognizable due to its current occupant rampaging through it. The entire room counts as difficult terrain. A barricade has been erected to block off entrance in the room, but it can be clambered over with a DC 15 Climb check or smashed down (40 hp, hardness 5).
Creature: Gurnir once attempted to create a powerful undead from the warriors buried in this chamber, but while he partially succeeded, he was unable to control it. The uncontrolled warsworn fortunately proved unable to exit the room in its agitated state and is currently dormant. If attacked from the corridor, it will retaliate by using its
animate objects, telekinesis and scrap ball attack to damage the PCs at range.
Gurnir won’t resent the PCs if they destroy it, seeing as it serves no purpose for him, but will appreciate it if they use magic to take control of it and employ it in fighting the Hazzuk-Mun.
Once controlled, the warsworn can be made to calmly squeeze out of the mausoleum within 10 minutes.
Treasure: The room contains a total of ten greatswords and four suits of masterwork full plate. The warsworn uses them against the PCs with its spell-like abilities (each suit of armor deals 2d6 damage when thrown via
telekinesis). Embedded in the warsworn is a
wand of enervation Gurnir used in creating it, with 7 charges remaining.

Several niches surround this room, each with various large urns standing inside. Though burial is the typical way of honoring the dead in dwarven culture, in some cases such as during plagues or wars it was infeasible to arrange for the burial of every victim, thus cremation became a necessity. The burnt remains of over 200 dwarves are stored in the urns here.
Creatures: Relomin, one of Gurnir’s retainers, is keeping vigil in this room, joined by two burning wraiths who rose from the souls of the cremated. If the PCs start a noisy fight with the will-o’-wisps in area D4 or are fighting Gurnir in area D7, they come to join the battle in 1d4+1 rounds. If the PCs previously attacked the Mausoleum or the obelisk in area D2 is destroyed, Relomin relocates to Gurnir’s room to defend him, leaving only the wraiths here.

D7 - Gurnir’s throne room
This vast hall’s walls are covered with bas-reliefs depicting dwarves performing feats of heroism, building mighty walls, slaying dragons and giants, and donning lavish jewelry. Beneath the largest decoration of all, a noble dwarf raising an exquisitely carved scepter, a tall throne carved of stone stands imposingly in front of a round table.. This is the hall where Gurnir holds council with his closest allies. As the room where the late king was supposed to be buried, this place holds a lot of sway on his spirit, both binding him to the land of the living and acting as the seat of his power. On the throne a special glyph has been inscribed, which will trigger a
desecrate effect centered on it if a command word is uttered.
Creatures: Gurnir can be found in this room, holding the Scepter of Dammerhall, one of the three symbols of rulership of the ancient dwarven kingdom, in his ghostly hands. As a legitimate High King of Dammerhall, his bond with the regalia is so powerful that he can wield and manipulate them with his incorporeal body as if they possessed the
ghost touch property.
The interactions between the PCs and Gurnir will depend on their standing with him. One way or the other, the undead king must be put to rest if they are to claim Dammerhall. There are two ways they can go about that:
Destroy Gurnir This is the most straightforward example, and the only one available to Overlords, as Gurnir will not compromise with them and defend the necropolis fiercely against drow, not even considering making them allies of convenience against the Hazzuk-Mun. To permanently banish Gurnir from his undead existence, his ghost must first be destroyed, the obelisk in area D2 destroyed or dispelled to remove the
unhallow effect on the mausoleum, and a
hallow spell must be cast in the throne room.If the PCs haven’t made an enemy of Lady Dirge, she can instead bless the area and prevent Gurnir’s rejuvenation after he’s been destroyed.
Either way, Gurnir’s destruction sends a wave of despair among the undead still fighting in Dammerhall. The chance to encounter patrols of undead in the streets of Dammerhall falls to 25% and the Hazzuk-Mun gain 10 Integrity points as they gain the upper hand against them. The PCs also gain 5 points of Attention from Lady Dirge, who awards them their final rewards according to the table at the beginning of this chapter.
Lay Gurnir to rest Explorers who either ally with Gurnir or reach him after recovering the Axe of Dammerhall (area XX) and the Sash of Dammerhall (area XX) can alternatively get him to pass on by showing him a Dammerhall once again ruled by a legitimate heir to the throne, be it an actual descendant of the ancient kings or a successor nominated by Gurnir himself. For all his folly, seeing the great city being once again under dwarven rule is the one thing that will convince him to depart peacefully from this world.
When granting audience to the PCs in person (whether they are his enemies or allies), Gurnir starts by rambling on, musing bitterly on how he plans to strike back at Hazzuk with everything he can muster and cursing the psychopomps for meddling in his justified vengeance. If the PCs interject and broach the topic of who will rule Dammerhall once Hazzuk is slain, Gurnir snaps to attention. Read or paraphrase the following:
“Who indeed will rule Dammerhall. Do you believe you can shoulder the responsibility of that station? Return our glorious kingdom to its ancient splendor? Do not besmirch the greatness of our kingdom by implying you can reclaim it by merely marching troops through its lands and placing a crown upon your own head! No, Dammerhall will not have its new High King so long as Hazzuk still draws breath in our palace and the three regalia of the dwarves lay scattered. If it truly is my blood, or at least those of the true warriors of Dammerhall running through your veins, you will not make such a claim until you have reunited the scepter with the axe and sash, and painted the palace’s floor with the usurper’s foul blood!” If further pressed, he keeps directing the PCs towards recovering the two regalia and killing Hazzuk. At this point, he will not attack the PCs, secretly hoping they will accept and be up to the task, or at least damage Hazzuk’s forces while trying to achieve them.
If the PCs return to this room after achieving those feats, Gurnir’s attitude shifts dramatically. After briefly asking to confirm that the dwarf carrying the two regalia is the one laying claim to the title, read or paraphrase the following:
The ancient ghost rises from his throne, holding the scepter in both hands. In a booming, solemn voice, he speaks to you. “The bloodline of Dammerhall is restored. The lineage of kings continues. By the name of the Tarnhammer inscribed in our ancestral regalia, and baptized by the blood of the usurper, I declare you, [name], my legitimate successor, heir to the throne of Dammerhall, Jarl of the kingdom beneath the mountains, High [King/Queen] of the Dwarves. May your rulership be keen as true mithral, solid as the bedrock, and long-lived as the caves.“ Said that, he presents the scepter and waits, unmoving, for your hands to take it. After the PC who is to become High King has taken the scepter, Gurnir draws one final, relieved sigh. His crooked visage turns briefly into the stern, wise image of a king, before the ghost dissipates completely into thin mist. A wave of stillness washes over Dammerhall, the last command of the king’s final vigil compelling the undead to abandon their unlife. Incorporeal undead instantly dissipate, while corporeal ones march to the Necropolis and crawl back into their graves, returning to rest unending. This resolution earns the PCs 8 points of Attention from Lady Dirge.

Before Combat Gurnir casts mage armor on himself every day. If the obelisk in area D2 is destroyed and there isn’t a graveknight providing him with the benefits of desecrate, he uses a standard action to activate the desecrate glyph on the throne, afterwards he casts blur and freedom of movement on himself. The bonuses from the spells have already been factored in his statblock. |
During Combat Gurnir casts greater command from the Scepter to make his enemies lie on the ground, then casts cloudkill to wear them down while they’re immobile. Afterwards, he activates his corrupting gaze and blasts them with his array of offensive spells, resorting to melee combat with his scepter and corrupting touch only as a last resort. |
Morale Gurnir fanatically defends his throne room until destroyed. |
Treasure: Besides Gurnir’s equipment, the room contains several treasures and magic items, some of which are heirlooms Gurnir had brought here from the other crypts, and others magical items he and his followers used to grow his army of undead. In total, there are two
scrolls of harm, a
ring of feather falling, a
wand of resist acid (CL 7) with 15 charges left, a jar of
stone salve, two scrolls of
summon monster V, a diamond-studded mithral bracelet worth 2,500 gp, an exquisite map of Dammerhall embroidered in gold stitching worth 1,800 gp, a leather pouch with ten blood-red rubies worth 250 gp each, 270 mithral coins, 1350 gp, 6500 sp and 8,800 cp in dwarven coinage.
Scepter of Dammerhall |
Slot none; Aura strong (conjuration, enchantment, transmutation); CL 15th; |
Weight 8 lbs. Price 42,600 gp |
This exquisite scepter, carved out of stone and decorated with an intricate pattern of runes and dwarven heraldry, is one of the symbols of rulership of the ancient dwarven kingdoms. It can be wielded as a +2 heavy mace, and grants the wielder a +5 competence bonus on Knowledge(local), Knowledge(nobility) and Knowledge(history) checks related to dwarves and dwarven culture and settlements. Finally, it acts as a magical staff. If the wielder is a dwarf, they can cast the spells as if they had them on their spell list and once per day they can attempt a DC 20 Wisdom check to restore one charge to the scepter. It can cast the following spells: |
Command (1 charge) |
Forebear’s visage (1 charge) |
Stone shape (2 charges) |
Wall of stone (2 charges) |
Greater command (3 charges) |

2023.03.23 15:06 Smith-WessonPat Issues Ordering Magazines on Primary Arms?
I have made many purchases on Primary Arms in the past, including magazines, and have never had an issue. I went to purchase a couple 10-round Duramag 5.56 magazines last night and I was unable to. There is a note that states "This item is regulated" and goes on to say "hi-capacity blah blah blah."
What is going on here? Anyone else have the same issue? The exact item I am trying to buy is at this link.

2023.03.23 14:56 SirPiecemaker "This town ain't big enough for the both of us," the cowboy said to the other. And, it was at that moment, they realised how truly awful the town's infrastructure was.
The man slowly loaded the last bullet into his revolver before spinning the cylinder. Listening to the clicking noise felt like... safety. He was ready. He walked out into the street where another man - a man like him, with one too many bad days and far too many regrets - was waiting for him, his own colt at the ready.
"You actually showed up," his opponent said. They were cut from the same cloth; their wind-blasted cheekbones, the narrowness with which they looked upon the world, the scruff of their 5 o'clock shadows... had they both worn a white hat, one could hardly tell them apart.
"Ain't one to let those words slide, Jacobs. This here town clearly ain't big enough for both of us," the man said.
"Willin' to die over a comment about your hat, Osborn?"
"You're goddamn right," Osborn hissed and spat on the ground, hand dangerously close to his holster. "This here's the best 10-gallon hat money can buy on this side of the Marston river and you damn well know it. If you think I'll let some bootlicker like you disrespect me, you got another thing comin'."
"Dumb as a sack of hammers, ain'tcha?" Jacobs scoffed. "Everyone knows you don't buy your hat in this town! You go to Yuma like every self-respectin' cowboy!"
"At least my shoes ain't made of deer hide, you bastard! What, couldn't swing the extra dollar for the ostrich leather from Somertown? You're as cheap as the whiskey in this 'ere watering hole."
"A dollar? You're full of shit, Osborn," Jacobs fired back. "No self-respectin' cobbler sells ostrich leather for 2 bucks."
"They do in Somertown," Osborn laughed; it wasn't a pleasant sound, his laugh, sounding more like the gravel he stood on.
The two men stared at each other uneasily, pondering the insults thrown their way.
"Before we get this over with..." Jacobs said, stretching his fingers, "I wanna know. Do they actually sell ostrich leather for two bucks in Somertown?"
"Callin' me a liar?"
"Well, do they?" Jacobs insisted.
"'Course!"
"And yer still wearin' that cheap-ass piece of crap, with all that money saved?"
"Cheap?" Osborn blew up. "Callin' 10 dollars cheap?"
"10 dollars?!" Jacobs cried out with his mouth agape. "A hat like that is 3 bucks tops in Yuma. You're basically throwing money away, buyin' hats in this town."
"Same goes to you and your cheap-ass shoes, Jacobs," Osborn growled back at him.
The two men once again slumped back into an uneasy silence, but one could almost swear their postures relaxed, just a tiny bit.
"Heh..." Osborn chuckled. "To think one of us is about to die just because this city ain't got proper services..."
"Almost feels like we oughta be shooting the cobblers and hatters instead. City's rotten to the core," Jacobs laughed with him.
And, once again, their postures relaxed, just the tiniest bit.
"Ain't the city, Jacobs. Mayor's to blame," Osborn said.
"First sane thing you said today," Jacobs nodded. "Bastard's appro-pri-ey-ting money from the rail company - linin' his own pockets instead of giving it to these poor bastards. Hell, they's dropping like flies from cholera just 'cause there ain't one good well around! No wonder they don't sell ostrich leather here, what kinda businessman would trade here?"
Osborn ran his fingers on the coarse edge of his cheap-ass piece of crap hat.
"Y'know... after I kill you," Osborn said, "I reckon' I'll have a word with the mayor. Convince him to sort this place out. Maybe they'll finally sell something drinkable in the saloon."
"Was thinkin' the same," Jacobs nodded.
"Really?"
"I- I mean it's starting to look like this place really is a shithole, Osborn. No wonder it ain't big enough for the two of us."
They stared at each other carefully, each thinking the same thought.
"Say..." Osborn started carefully, "say... say we put in pin in this? Skip to the mayor-beatin' part? I really wanna see that fucker squirm."
Jacobs inspected his opponent carefully. His stance, his eyes, the twitching of his nose... he seemed to be fair, for once. Osborn did the same, reaching a similar conclusion. Slowly, carefully - just in case the other one was about to change his mind - the two men pulled their hands away from their hips.
Jacobs nodded towards the city hall where the mayor lived; Osborn nodded in agreement.
"Well..." Osborn commented with a grin, "two of us walkin' to help the city. Ain't that an extremity."
Jacobs lifted his eyebrow. "That ain't what extremity means."
"Don't it mean 'grand'"
"Osborn, you really are as dumb as a sack of bricks."
"Hey, watch it-"
"So am I, I's reckon," Jacobs sighed; enough to stop Osborn from his rant.
"...we really should have a school built 'round here," Jacobs continued after a brief pause.
"Water tower, too. Maybe then trade will actually come 'round."
"You just want that so good whiskey's sold in the saloon, don'tcha?"
Osborn laughed. "Don't you?"
Jacobs laughed back. "Obviously!"
